The pool!!
My room smelled like mold and the shower was never clean. Room 1009

Location next to concert venue. Room felt clean.
The service at both bars-in the lobby and in the restaurant was terrible. Had to literally call "excuse me" because they would never come check if you needed anything. Just not enough staff I guess. The carpet in the common areas was pretty dirty. I like moody hotels but in my opinion the lights should be turned about 30-50% brighter in the hallways.

We showed up to check in and they said they were over booked and they had to move us to another hotel. I told the manager they should have called us to let us know,
Because we would have not traveled 3 hours to stay there.
I booked the reservation 3 months in advance.

location to Moody Theatre; clean/safe part of town. Brian at the desk was kind, friendly, and professional when we checked in.
hard beds - not “quality-firm” either - just hard, low quality mattresses. low quality linens. mistakes on room service. rude room service. long wait times for room service. rude and inefficient valet parking who didn’t exactly inspire confidence that my car would be ok. the cost was fine considering I could walk next door with my teen daughter to a concert - but for the cost, they need to make it less like a crash pad and more like a decent hotel. oh yeah and don’t charge me 5 bucks for a bottle of water and remind me not to steal the toiletries. it’s just cheap and embarrassing unless you are Fairfield inn or something. I know it’s not the 4 seasons but come on. the nickel/diming was tacky. also, it’s 2023. no need to charge 15 bucks for Wi-Fi anymore. again with the nickel and diming. oh, and thanks for letting me know that if I steal the in-room steamer it will cost me 60 bucks. the signage everywhere about all the stuff I might steal just made me wonder what kind of dive hotel I’m actually staying in. At least give me the courtesy of pretending I’m not at the Cecil.

I changed the timing on this reservation via Booking and Booking.com dropped the ball and left it to me to pay. Done with Booking.

The front desk staff was great, helpful when they could be and always greeted when seen.
For the price we paid, we are not satisfied with the value of our stay. The room was small, the valet didn’t approach and open our door on our way out, the room was hot so we had to ask for a fan, room service forgot our dessert, we had to wait 45 minutes for a room after the 3pm check-in time.

It was a teally bad experiance. I called and they told me they had a room ready and that i could check in. When i get there they told me they couldnt take apple pay, whr the website says it does. And told me to wait two hours with my family in the car on the street!
I was driving a motorhome. The ballet parking employee screamed at ne saying i had to move it and esnted to fight me. I need someone to please call me back about this issue, 214 454 9588. The manager on duty was Andrew
They need to accept the paymebt they told me they do when i made the reservation

There was no breakfast.
WiFi Services. They could not find my membership with Marriot. I stay often in the Marriot hotels and for much less than I spent in the W and always got complimentary WiFi. I find it hard to believe that a facility of this caliber does not provide complimentary WiFi this day and time.

Not much.
Check in was at 3pm, room wasn't ready until 6pm. No communication from staff as to the delay. Front desk staff were unapologetic for the delay, and overall not that friendly. It would have been super easy for them to say the room wasn't quite ready and offered us a drink while we waited or an appetizer, but instead it was just said as a matter of fact. At $500 a night, there are better deals out there. Take into account the large homeless camp just outside the hotel, you'd be better off staying somewhere else.

You have to schedule for spa and they don’t tell you that. It was my honeymoon and I couldn’t go to the spa

Valet parking was terrible. Could never find attendant. Front desk had a hard time making change- had no fives, had to disappear for 5 minutes to break a 10! Rooms were not made “your confirmation explained that”. Nobody attendant around pool on an 80 degree day
