The price was fantastic. The location is nice. It's next to the lake, but because of the changing water levels it's a bit of a walk to get to the shore. Overall, cute and clean place with a good location and reasonable prices. I liked that our room had a coffee maker, a microwave, and a fridge.
The driveway to turn in can be easy to miss and a little tight if one car is trying to go out while another comes in. It's a little far to be able to walk to the village, we had to drive. The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable. I ended up bunching up two towels to use as a pillow instead. No a/c which I guess isn't a huge deal but it still gets hot enough some summer days where I would want a/c.

There's a restaurant on the lot and behind it is the lake.

We enjoy the location. We are able to walk to the Village and local restaurants. The staff are always kind.

Location- near from everything, from the lake, from resto/fast food. I also like that they have those seats outside your rooms where you can just hang out and drink your coffee. The refrigerator and microwave are very helpful!
It gets hot inside the room at night , and we don't want to open windows, so that is unlikable.

The location was perfect you could walk easily to coffe shops and the village was just a 5 minute walk.

One of the staff an older lady was very rude.

The location is really good, close to the resorts. Confy bed and friendly staff.
We stayed for 4 nights and they did't clean the room during our stay. Not even to take out the trash, we had to o it ourselves.

very clean, stuff is very accommodating and friendly. enjoyed our stay

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed help with our TV and staff promptly came to our room to fix the problem. The property is very close to restaurants and shops and easy to walk to. The room included a microwave and a good size refrigerator. It also had a cute little wall fireplace heater. Overall we had had a good stay.
The beds were clean but a little uncomfortable. the beds seem to have a slope to them and we didn’t have the best sleep. Although the room was clean, the decor could have used a little refresh.

Big Bear hotels/ Inns in general need a little cosmetic overhaul (my humble opinion). This Inn was no different. It did not look like the pictures. The room felt dark and small. My daughters though it looked like a real life horror film setting… The room smelled weird, like dog, my child had allergy symptoms (pet allergies) upon check in but we were assured this property does not allow pets. Having said that it was “fine” and functional as a “crash pad” after snow day activities but lower
side of average. Mattress was fine. Beds had sheet and thin blanket. The bedspread was stiff and dark pattern made it tough to see how clean it was so we didn’t use them. The lack of cozy bedding in the winter made for an comfortable night sleep. To LA locals, I would bring my own comforter and blankets. Rooms have electric fireplaces which work so well that we were either sweating or cold. Cozy warm bedding would have helped regulate disparity in room temp. Bathroom set up has toilet/ shower with door for privacy but sink is in the room. Shower was fine. Cost of this room and property was on higher side of fair. Room appeared clean. It was a convenient location near restaurants. Check in staff was welcoming/ kind.

The inn was located within walking distance of several different cafes and restaurants and the village.

Nothing!

The location is about 3 blocks away from the main village.. It was awesome!!
The lake was a little further then expected from the inn..
Not their fault seems to be drying up because of the no rain in California..

No A/C, no room cleaning

Close to the Village. Private and comfortable. The room was in excellent condition.

The room was a nice size, had good sized fridge and full sized microwave which was great as we made most out meals. The gas fireplace warmed room up quickly. The large bathroom had a deep tub and plenty of hot water. We could see lake from our room.
They didn’t have an ice machine nor daily service, but the daily service wasn’t a deal breaker as office told us to just let them know if we needed anything. It was really difficult for me to locate the turn in for the hotel from the street.

Vintage inn is a cozy little gem. I was expecting a basic motel stay but was pleasantly surprised by the fireplace, microwave oven, and fridge. Rooms were spacious, clean and warm.
It looked like they once offered breakfast but no more.

I loved how close it was to everything!
I didn’t like that the heater was hard to get working and the toilet wouldn’t always flush and would run.

the Big Bear Lake is just behind the property. the great coffee house is at the front the location is great just at the center of everything.
just that they didn’t refill the coffee. only 1 regular and one decaf for our 3 night stay. We had to ask for more at the front.
