Sufficient, great location, too expensive, hotel would be better
Location was excellent and the cabin was spacious. It was nice to have a kitchen that is relatively fully furnished with plates, mugs, cookware- everything you need mostly (would be nice if the baking sheets actually fit in the oven). And having a full size refrigerator was good. Having a fireplace was another great feature.
The heating arrangement of the cabin needs to be addressed. On the first floor, the radiator is in the corner of one room, opposite from the bedroom, which doesn't have it's own heater. So the bedroom stayed pretty cold all of our 4 day stay. At least include a fan to help circulate/equalize the temperature. Also, the entry mudroom door is not an exterior door and so let's in a lot of cold air. There was no hair dryer. Most people don't travel with their own. Spend the $20 to provide this amenity for future guests. The vacuum was ancient and barely functioned. With fees, the stay came out to about $340 per night- that is too much for this cabin. Renting a cabin is supposed to be more convenient, but I think staying at an inn would have been better and probably 1/3 cheaper for a nice one- The Lodge Holiday Inn ;)

The cabin was cozy, it had the basics, and was clean. It was comfy and we really enjoyed it
The location was great
The patio area could not be used due to a fallen awning and we did not have the tools and supplies to remove snow from staircase and patio. However, once notified, someone quickly came to bring the items and to assist with the staircase

Stressful stay
The house is cute. Theres some cool places in the area.
False advertising. Says there's wifi, there is none. Says there's a dishwasher, there isn't one. The house wasn't very clean which was concerning (there would be grime left on my hand after touching some places in the kitchen such as cupboards, drawers, near the sink). I was givin 3 different addresses so finding the house was confusing. The host never got in contact with me, phone went straight to voice-mail (unless maybe I was given the wrong number which I wouldn't doubt) emailed the host no response either. Stove isn't ideal for cooking, there's a fire hazard by having a plastic garbage can right next to the heater (moved it during me stay after smelling hints of plastic when the heater was on.) There was enough to make me actually stress during my stay which is unfortunate.
