Unprepared and unsanitary

Location

First the room was not ready when it was supposed to be so we had to wait for them to finish “cleaning”. That would have been fine but once our room was finally ready, we found literally dog poop on the floor next to the bed, so we had to leave again while they sanitized it, at the same time we asked for the sheets to be changed because of the dog poop and they said they will but they didn’t and told us they were sure they were cleaned so we had to call again and leave again while they changed them. Then on our final night the A/C stopped working and we had to call the front desk to fix it , they fixed it and it worked fine for about an hour before it shut off and it kept going on and off throughout the whole night.

Great stay

Receptionist was very welcoming and kind, very clean and cozy room. Breakfast was good. Everything we came in we were greeted. Will stay again.

Good location I attended a concert near by

I got to motel Jumped in shower...fire alarm went off at motel. I had to stop shower...which I slipped a bit had to hurry and put on something and towl on my head and run out of bulding...to hear some kid pulled alarm. Horrible Kind of made my night of sleep unpleasant thinking it would happen again.

No more La Quinta stays for us. This was our second bad experience. We are not going for a third

Parking in front of hotel. The lady working the breakfast area was nice.

Breakfast ends at 9am. By 8:15, some items had run out already, and messes everywhere. Coffee tasted off. Terrible in room coffee station. Our bathroom light did not work. My husband called it in as soon as we arrived but the front desk said so sorry but maintenance is gone for the night. Our floor lamp also did not work. It felt like we spent the night in a cave.

The staff and specifically Neva were exceptionally kind and excelled in customer service. The rooms and entire facility was clean and well kept. We will definitely be staying again.

Overall excellent stay.

Excellent breakfast. Excellent customer service. Personal very nice.

The housekeeping/cleaning of the room was not on a daily basis. Did not happen during our 4 day stay. We had to empty our own trash and some other clients didn't, therefore foul smelling can start from that poor cleaning service. That's the only observation. Thanks for accepting our furry family.

I had requested handicap room which I did get but did not like the walkin shower it was low to the floor and the tile was lifting in front of the shower because water was under tile

Awesome Inside, Lackluster Outside

The staff and Breakfast were awesome!! I thought the location wasn't in a nice area. I wish that whole street was renovated since it leads you into Ruidoso. Very close to the town but feels lackluster as you are entering. The hotel was nice but the street wasn't.

Very expensive stay at $225 a night but it was the week after Christmas so I guess that's normal. Would I do it again? No, sorry.

Lobby area very clean.

Bathroom not very clean. Stained toilet, mold in shower & tile that had been repaired poorly. Lifted tiles. Room smelled very strongly of what seemed to be carpet cleaner. Refrigerator & heater a little loud. Pillows uncomfortable. Didn't feel it was worth the price.

Breakfast was not I was expecting need to have some donuts rolls ,located was good

I did not like the room it smelled bad and it was not cozy like I was looking for it just did not have that relaxing feeling .
