The hotel is not very impressive. Just ok. Overpriced. I would not stay there again.

It is an old hotel. Could use some updating. Over priced for me. We stayed at The Lodge in Cloudcroft which is historic, nicely maintained, friendlier staff and $50 cheaper per night!! The person at the front desk seemed annoyed when I asked him to repeat his instructions to us. I had difficulty understanding him. You could tell his “ instructions “ were the same speech which is quickly spat out for everyone. Absolutely no warmth, not friendly, not even a smile. Did not make us feel welcomed at all. My husband had breakfast; the gravy for the biscuits was cold, the eggs were runny and tasted awful. He threw his plate of food in the trash. Coffee was not good. We went elsewhere for breakfast.

Nobody robbed my car. The breakfast was a decent standard hotel breakfast. One of the waffle makers was broken, but at least there were two.

The tub/shower was a disaster waiting to happen. The valve that is supposed to direct water from the faucet to the shower head did not work, so almost no shower and water backed up in the tub. This combined with the lack of texture on the tub created a slippery condition that almost did me in. The bed was old and too soft, the heater noisy and a little smelly, the furniture worn. The clerk cooked a meal that stunk up the hallway with garlic, and I was on the 2nd floor!

Pleasant stay, a nice staff in a clean, updated facility..

great location. Friendly, accessible staff. Updating and new carpet made the most of an older facility.

they could invest in softer towels. walls are thin, but thankfully the other guests were pretty quiet.

Beds were comfortable, room was clean, shower head pressure was fantastic. Just didn't care to have my room near the lobby where I could hear people walking around and the bottom of the front entrance door brings in a lot of light from the hallway, had to cover it with a towel

Found a bug in my bed the second night. Pretty sure it was a bed bug. Did closer inspection and found blood spots on upper right corner of sheet. Front desk didn't seem surprised when I told him what I found. I drove home in middle of the night. Management didn't contact me as front desk stated they would.
