Motel near UC Davis, nice staff, but very old and needs renovations

Location was good but there were homeless near our room in the laundry area. Surprised it was a motel (not hotel).

Rooms were kinda not well kept and the carpet in the bathroom sink area was weird. Walls thin

Convenient place to stay for UC Davis trip

We had a multi-day event to attend at UC Davis, and this place met our needs. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, and there was ample free parking. We could see and hear the Amtrak train from our room window, but it didn't disturb us. If you are a light sleeper, the hotel provides complimentary earplugs. Breakfast is not included, but there is complimentary coffee and tea in the room as well as in the lobby. We also appreciated the water bottle refill station in the lobby. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a short distance (walking or driving). Dutch Bros is right next door if you need your specialty coffee fix.

It would have been nice to have a continental breakfast included, but it was fine, as we knew beforehand that breakfast was not provided. Overall a very pleasant stay.

I liked the convenience, it was very close to the freeway and my favorite part was the Dutch Bros Coffee just 400 feet away lol

The room had an odd old smell, the carpets weren't clean and neither were the walls.

Janky and such a bummer in such a lovely town.

Location to shops and restaurants as well as soccer fields. Bath towels were soft

VERY noisy, felt old and in desperate need of repairs/updating, no spa(no one even touched the pool), no continental breakfast despite plenty of room and what looked like displays for it that went unused and were empty, very unsafe feeling back “patio” that borders a auto repair shop and was unlocked, toilet clogged and needed plunging and they handed the plunger to me instead of having someone come do it, housekeeping staff loud in the am enjoying each other but still very loud.

Excellent place to stay except for the train.

No breakfast but great location very near town and within walking distance. Property very clean and well kept. Just off highway. Would definitely stay here again if needed.

Not the property's fault but there is a commuter train that goes through regularly as it's scheduled and on schedule certain trains like to toot their horn more than others. And yes it is loud enough to wake you up in the morning so don't plan on sleeping in unless you're a heavy sleeper. The inn does provide a set of ear plugs assumbably just for this occasion. Also there's a Dutch Brothers Coffee next door which is great as you can walk or drive over and get decent coffee but not so great if your room is on that side of the property as you can hear literally every order taken including the friendly greetings of certain employees.

One of the best hotels we've stayed in recently.

Great location, walking distance to downtown. Friendly staff. Nicely landscaped grounds and pool area.

No spa but we knew this so not a big deal.

It was clean and spacious. All the furniture and inside was clean and good 3 start value

Was last minute booking and price was very affordable.

It was not the hotel’s situation …. But There was a parking lot outside of the window with the club music blasted out 4 AM in the morning, and it was really so loud I could not go back to sleep.

amazing peaceful quiet hotel

the room is amazing. everything is so clean. the area is very safe. parking lot is well lit,. wheelchair access is good. I’ve machine is nice with fresh ice not stale tasting. big refrigerator. parking is amp,e and easy to access. Easy to find right off the Highway. Dutch Brothers is next door and there is In and Out across the street. Restaurant in a shared parking area smells wonderful (we didn’t eat there.). pool area is extremely clean and well kept. There is a train that passes by frequently but we didn’t notice it until 5 am. The room muffles most of the sound. The hotel gives you ear plugs in case you need them.

Checking in was a pain. no one was in the building. Took 20 minutes before someone showed up in their vehicle and ran inside to check us in. But he was super nice.

Dirty room. Stayed a couple days and they do not clean the room each day nor give clean towels. No breakfast despite the advertised free breakfast. No response from management.

No EV charger other than Tesla.

Clean, convenient and cheap, a nice place to have a short stop during a business trip.

Unfortunately only a Tesla wallbox charger available, not compatible with any other electric vehicle than Tesla. There is now many other electric vehicle brands (BMW, Mercedes, Hyundai, Ford,…). Please make sure to install compatible chargers for those vehicles too.

it was okay I didn’t enjoy the dirty room or the rude staff member

I love how close everything was and very fast to get in and out of town.

the room was dirty and had a lot of marks on the walls and the floor was smelling dirty and about it scratch marks in the room and the heater wasn’t working to well. called front desk ask if someone can come the next morning and the women gave me attitude and made it seem that I was asking for somthing difficult when it wasn’t.

not the worst, but I won’t be back.

the property is in a convenient location and the grounds are well kept. the bed was pretty comfortable.

The room was pretty run down ( no updates, large sections of chipping paint on the walls) and not very clean. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed, there were some pretty funky milky white stains on the bed skirt, a ton of untouched surfaces ( think dusty lamps and toothpaste stains on the faucet), and the towels were stained.
