It was very quiet and laid back. There were always empty chairs at the pool and the beach was never crowded.
The buildings could use some love and the food at the castaway restaurant was very average.

It was great having the whole famly on the same property.
They were in 123 and couldn't sleep due to the noise. The receptionist was seen in the morning and given a different room.

Excellent location, accommodation, and hospitality.
Big, spacious room for this solo traveler. Near attractions with vehicle.
Short stay.

The location and room were nice.
The staff was rude. And I was overcharged. Still working to resolve that.

Nice pool
My room was directly above a power generator that ran 24/7. I could hear it clearly even with the windows closed. The highway noise was louder than a cheap motel.

The location
The state of the rooms. The fact that because all rooms are privately owned and thus different it is not actually a hotel. The beds that are not comfortable, I went back home with an injury in my back. The electric equipment in the room that is very old and noisy. This place probably used to be awesome 50 years ago, but now it is severely overpriced.

The reception was above and beyond. We were greeted with smiles, a necklace for each of our family, pool towels and water. The pool was nice and the beach is amazing. I loved that they allowed a late checkout and even offered shower, amenities and towels for after checking out we could still enjoy the facility.
Room is big and comfortable is just a little outdated not on the modern side.

The beach by the hotel is beautiful and not too crowded, you can even snorkel the reef right by the hotel and we saw 2 turtles. Black rock is only 15 mins walk which was incredible snorkelling. The pool was nice and the resort has everything you could want including the trolley to whalers village for extra dinner options/shopping etc. The hotel also upgraded our room which was very nice. Definitely had a more relaxed less crowded feel compared to other places and good value for money.
The rooms aren’t made up daily which just meant that sand accumulated a bit in the room on the floor but dustpan and brush provided. The beds weren’t the most comfortable and the blankets provided were thin which I’m not used to sleeping under but were adequate if you didn’t use the air con at night.

Amazing resort. Great location and very polite stuff. Very clean room. It's very close to one of the best beach in the island! Would definitely come back!

The location is amazing, easy access to the beach, to the restaurants
The lobby wasn’t that clean, the bathroom had a hair at the door. Overall was good

Location, villa design and spaces
Only one restaurant, parking space difficult

The room met our expectations in terms of it having the necessities which also included 2 pools and the laundry room. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the Cafe (very nice staff). We also had interaction with the front office and they were welcoming and insightful.
The fact that the laundry room was in the back however that was beyond anyone's control.

Great location, access to the ocean concierge was great and very knowledgeable, name Christopher
Very poor maid service , stayed there 7days and got the room cleaned and sheets changed 1 time terrible. The bed was a fold up one which is literally a couch, terrible otherwise everything else was fine

We liked how close the beach was, access to a pool and restaurant, and the amenities
The property was great. A more comfortable bed/pillows would be nice

Location was perfect, rooms were very spacious
Room cleaning was supposedly every 5 days. Asked for bedding to be changed after 3 days and was given sheets to do ourselves. Check in is very late and staff were not very helpful to get in earlier.

1. Location is very nice, beach access is good. Kahekelli beach on Westin side is comparable to Honolua Bay for snorkeling.
2. Villa is spacious
3. Parking is convenient by the villa.
4. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool
5. Christopher who is with the vacation planner was very helpful. 11/10 for him!
Front Desk Staff is horrible. The lady who checked us in has little sense of how to talk to customers. She didn't tell us about the free stuttle service to Sheraton(Black rock) and other facilities. We wasted a day not knowing about the shuttle and instead walking all the way (No parking is available at black rock ). She was very rude when I asked about late checkout. She had no clue about bed arrangements.
At the price paid, I expected better service and facilities from the property. In terms of facilities, there is a ping pong table, a small area to barbeque, pool. Beds were not very comfortable. Air conditioning could have been better. It feels hot at lowest temperature setting.
Bath Towel delivery was cumbersome and never happened. Cleaning happens every 4 days. It feels like there is a disconnect between the Aston guys and the owner of property. It's halfway between a hotel and an AirBnB.
Thanks to the owner who had kept some snorkelling gear, one life vest (Request to keep some more), fins, beach chairs and other misc stuff (btw, umbrella is broken)

The facility is pretty good, and the pools are really clean.
The coffee is provided only till 10:00am.

The pool and beach access was really nice. We enjoyed how it wasn’t crowded and the rooms were comfortable for families.

Excellent beach access with great snorkeling right nearby!
Only restaurant nearby closes at 8:00pm, so no place to hang around later if you wanted to.
7.0 / 10.0
Great location. Room was good and spacious
Just a little more maintenance is needed around the grounds. Very difficult time with few staff. Think it was overpriced for no rooms being serviced
