I do not recommend this hotel and will not stay again.

Strong AC, good selection of channels on TV.

Location - very difficult to get in & out of. The staff was not friendly - I interacted with 3. The room furniture is dated. This hotel is not motorcycle friendly.

Don't stay here!!!

The elevator worked well, and the bed wasn't horrible. The pillows were flat.

It stunk when you walked in the lobby like smelly cologne. The bathroom was nasty, and the tub was yellow. I skipped the shower there! The refrigerator had a weird smell, so I couldn't use it. Oh, not to mention, 2 kids went missing and had to locate the parents because they were lost. Both are under 5 years old. 2 different floors. The location was ridiculous because of the construction. There was no parking except the very back. Never would I recommend or stay at this hotel again!

La Quinta provides comfortable accommodation, conveniently placed on the outskirts of Dothan.

The location is good for passing through the area. There is ample parking. There are electric sockets by the bed. The room is warm and the bed comfortable. There is air conditioning if needed. The WiFi worked, but is not secured.

The room could have been cleaner, particularly the restroom floor. Not the motel's fault but there were what appeared to be a noisy group occupying rooms near mine, and making a racket until late.

Dirty, gross, unsafe, poor service.

There were several places nearby to eat and have coffee.

Our first room was super dirty - hair (and not the long kind on your head) and brown stuff smeared all over the shower and bathroom and brown sheets that did not feel like just a stain on the bed. The door latch then broke - the whole entire locking system came unscrewed and fell out. It was almost midnight and all they offered was to move to another room only mildly cleaner. We asked for at least a partial refund but were denied. It was too late to try to find a new place to stay with our dogs. Walls are super thin so you can hear everyone’s doors open and close all night and dogs barking. We did not sleep. We reached out to corporate and they just said this “isn’t typical” for this hotel and offered nothing.

Floor was absolutely disgusting. My kids’ feet were black after 15 minutes of walking in the room. My shoes are still sticky 2 days later. Sheets appeared to still have the fold creases from store packaging and felt horrible. There were crumbs under the pillows on one of the beds like it was not cleaned from last use.

Not Worthy of 8+ Rating

We booked this property based on 8+ reviews and it's convenient location. General condition of the hotel was average at best. Excellent location close to numerous restaurants and gas stations.

Hotel needs TLC and ongoing maintenance. Doors, walls, stair railings were banged up and all need fresh paint. The front elevator was filthy. Our room was clean, but the a/c unit was broken...no heat function. Breakfast foods not refilled in a timely fashion. Attendant did not seem to care if the powdered scrambled egg and sausage gravy containers were empty. Employees appeared to be generally disengaged and unhappy. This hotel, at best is a 7.0. We felt that management was running the place with limited resources and that this property could be so much better.

Great location and room was nice. Not as clean as I expected from other reviews. Busy and holidays so that could be the reason. Would try it again.

We plan to stay at LaQuinta when we travel with our cats.

I believe that being pet friendly is a very good competitive advantage. Perhaps because of that, we found the other guests to be extremely friendly.

The breakfast was late and only warm.

Just ok. Barely.

Location was fine.

Cleaning/deodorizer scents are almost overwhelming. Many dogs, although my floor said no pets. Quite worn, new paint, over holes and dents, paneling pieces covering ?? on each door, plastic shower mats covering obvious flaws on floor. Just very worn. We left before breakfast based on the dogs and "redecorating".

Room was comfortable. Shower was nice. Facility was very clean.

The bed was slanted and extra soft. The clerk at the front desk acted rude about giving me my receipt. The price of the room was high but it was a holiday weekend.

Beautiful and clean facility. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff

Curtains didn't help at night. Our room was facing the front and the light kept shining in from the sides a significant amount. Made it hard to sleep because the light was shining in all night.

It was OK

The white or mixed lady at the front desk was awesome. She was so nice. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok. My boys loved the smart Tv with Netflix, Youtube and google set up on the tv. My son had fun in the pool and the hallways was quit. Oh and what i love best was they had church in the lobby. I didn't go but I thought that was cool.

The rug in the room need to be deep cleaned. When I took off my shoes the rug felt so moist and slimy. It felt not clean. So I had to keep my shoes on until I got in the bed. The mirror in the bathroom was dirty. I had to have my 13 year old clean it. We also didn't get room services. I had to call to the front desk and tell them that we didn't get any services. And the mixed guy tell me because you didn't ask for services. I told him well my DND sign was not on my door. And tell me due to covid they just don't come in our room in clean. Well I came from West VA and we don't have to let them know we need services. I'm not from this state so that information should have been told to me at check-in. So I end up cleaning my own room. My son also had a bed dream and wet the bed. I called down to the front desk to get change of sheets and blanket. They told me to come to the front desk to get them. I sent my son and he came back with one brown throw cover. Like are you serious? Yeah they was serious. Refrigerator don't get that cold. Wont come to this Hôtel again unless this was the only option I have. Pool is outside and very small.

Nice for the price.

Location and price were great!

Rooms are very small. No place for us to sit down and eat takeout. Only one drawer to put belongings in. Sign in the room says someone will come daily to change sheets and bring towels, they didn’t. I had to go to the desk to get towels.

I didn’t like the road it was on. You couldn’t make left turns, it was such a hassle. Also breakfast started too late. We needed to leave early and breakfast started at 9:00 am

Only 1 ice machine on the bottom floor, 1 small elevator, and had to wait forever on cart to carry our things down.
