What is a joke for 300 Alex?

The location was easy to get to the highway and easy to find.

The female front desk lady in the morning is rude, I said hi and she sneared at me. There looks like mold on the ceiling of our room. And the breakfast is joke, they couldn't even have bananas for an option. Just 1 type of cereal, milk that was warm, a half broken toaster, and no hot links or bacon. There are busted windows and broken equipment everywhere. The place needs help.

For a night flop it was ok, but we will not stay there again.

Location of the hotel was convenient to local amenities. Located across the street from a nice diner, it was very easy to get to. Rooms were quiet, we were not disturbed by other guests. Rooms came with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Fridge worked well, as did the small freezer that was a part of it.

None of the staff wore shirts with logo or uniforms. One of our rooms had only 1 lamp. Another room had no top sheets on the bed under the thin bedspread. Lamp shades were broken and falling apart. Hallway smelled of mold, marijuana smoke, and pot smoke, pool was small and needed a redo as the concrete was crumbling under the lip, hallway stairs were creaking with every step and needed repairs, no ac in hallways, ac barely worked, one of our rooms the ac filter was so clogged with dirt and dust that it clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time, rooms the vinyl flooring was coming up in places, window was filthy on the inside so it was clear that hadn't been cleaned in awhile, outlets were hard to reach behind furniture, door locks weren't maintained or monitored as the batteries in ours were dead upon arrival and the maintenance guy who arrived to change them clearly did not like being summoned and carried an unlit cigarette hanging out of his mouth while he worked. Breakfast needed an upgrade, as the toaster only toasted one side of the bread and the coffee was semi bitter. Not much selection besides runny eggs and lukewarm potatoes. Waffles were good though and easy to cook on the waffle iron.

Never seen such a run down building.

The location was good.

Paint flaking off ceiling, paint chips on floor and bed. Ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and paint coming off. Bathtub was dirty, the bottom of it was black and looks like it was never cleaned. The place needs demolished and rebuilt from the ground up. Super 8 corporate should be absolutely pissed that anyone would let a building get so run down.

my bed was stained. was not clean. vomit in the parking lot. bed was so uncomfortable I was sliding off all night because it slanted down when you laid on it. and it was 30 minutes from the town we were visiting and there was a bug in my bed

This is an old, disgusting property.

Despite how old and run down everything was the bed was clean and comfy. But did not make up for the old, run down room and overall property.

I stayed here last year on my way North to visit family and was disgusted at that time too, then mistakenly booked it again - I truly started to cry when my GPS took me here again-. But it was too late to try to find another hotel especially with two dogs - it is such a run down facility it should not be a property to select on your web site. You can see torn drapes from the road... awful. The price is cheap and should have been a clue but it's a no frills chain so I didn't even think it was the same place I had stayed at last year - I'll never make that mistake again and will probably never consider a Super 8 property ever again anywhere.

I didn't like anything about this property and there was drug dealings in the area on the property

I would not recommend at all.

Unfortunately nothing

The hotel needs to invest in remodeling their rooms and invest in an exterminator. They had bugs; roaches, spiders, and bed bugs. The bathrooms had mold and cracks in the ceiling. I left and asked for a refund as I did not feel safe there with my family. I've stayed in other Super 8's and never had these issues. The rooms also smelled like cigarettes and they were supposedly non-smoking.

Serves the purpose, but could be better

$62/night hotel??? ..... you'll get what you pay for.... you'll be disappointed if you expect a "spectacular" facility for this price. Excellent customer service, I love these guys! Hotel is currently under renovation, may be better much later.

Smoke smell is everywhere, even with the "Non-smoking" signs everywhere. Spider webs AND life spiders in room, staircase and passage ways. And the pool??? Forget it!!!

not a bad distance from fairgrounds

when we came to check in they couldn’t run my card, instead asked for a copy of it and a copy of photo ID. the staff made me very uncomfortable, they lingered around the rooms staring at you and your vehicle. the rooms were DIRTY! I don’t think the bathroom had been cleaned in months. the lampshades were punched in. the room was gross.
