It was peaceful and staff was friendly .
The parking is a block away and the first night the security gates were secured. Winter would be a hard time for travelers to walk to the hotel.
4.5
Location was outstanding. The rooms are charming, if a bit cramped. The entire property has historic charm. And the access to a first-class gym and athletic facilities is a real plus. Staff was very friendly.
Having to enter a code to get into the building at night. Also, the parking offsite was a little inconvenient.

It was downtown, but not safe part of town.
Staff rude. Bed was homr made plywood box spring with an hump in middle. Restaurant staff reluctamt tp serve a meal 45 mins before closing
4.5
Classic old hotel. Mostly nice staff. Beautiful.
The pool is only Laps and you have to reserve a lap lane for 1 hour. Family swim is only two hours a day in the middle of the day.
4.5
The Spokane club has a nice old-fashioned feeling to it. The people are super nice and the restaurant is right on the premises which is very convenient. Parking is a short walk away and inside a garage which is great as downtown Spokane can be a little sketchy at night.

It has old school charm, it is very quiet, the bedding was very comfortable, nice toiletries, above other hotels when it comes to athletic facilities, friendly staff.
The check in and check out hours could be revisited. We tried to check in early and even if there had been a room, a fee would have been assessed. I reserved the pool as per their policy and there were still people there when I got there so I just gave up the reservation - why make guests reserve if you are not going to enforce it? Restaurant was great but not open all the time.

We didn’t have a breakfast included!
Parking away from the hotel and having to pay $14

Our room was not ready at check-in time.
We were made to wait approximately an hour.
It wasn’t handled well.
We were initially given our room key only to discover that the room had not been cleaned or changed yet (obvious signs of disarray). The check-in staff were oblivious and there was no impetus shown to rectify the situation.
My kindness and tolerance was met with indifference by the staff.

Comfy room, really nice restaurant and staff.
Parking was confusing at first, tv and radio were really out dated.

Location...that was about it. Nothing else really stood out to me.
Parking. You had to park a couple blocks away and it's not free. $14/night which I wasn't told in advance. The bed was NOT comfortable at all. 1 table and NO chairs to just sit in to put on shoes or something. Everything about the room was small...doors, fridge...
4.5
Perfect location.
Smaller and older property but well taken care of and quiet in comparison to bigger hotels.
That the restaurant inside the hotel closed at 2pm on Sundays.

The staff, above all, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel is very centrally located, and guests have the option to use the large athletic facilities. Great overall atmosphere!

Charming hotel, really comfortable bed. Room was huge with a sweet view. Loved the water station in the hallway. The mini fridge was a surprise bonus. Location was perfect for us.
Bathroom tub had gobs of old toilet paper in it, top blanket on the bed had red food stains up where your face would be.
4.5
The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. Having a fridge and coffee maker was great. The soaps and bath products were fabulous.
The wifi was a little weak, and the tub had a slow drain.

So close to arena
Spent two nights ,sink was slow flowing told house keeping first didn’t get fixed.

Loved the building, beautiful. Loved how close to the convention center it was. Our kids and their kids stayed as well; they loved the pool.
Hard to find front door and parking.
Room was very stuffy, smelled.
Bathtub didn't drain, showered in over my ankle water.
No breakfast.
A bit pricey.
Parking was hard to find and we had to pay $14 for it.

I like the look of the outside of the hotel and the building had a lot of old charm. The restaurant was very delicious and accommodating to gluten allergies. The front desk customer service was very friendly and helpful.
I didnt like that the first room we got into was not what I expected. the carpet was peeling up in the corner of the doorway. there was broken glass and hair in the bathroom floor before we ever used it. Very dated! The "spa" tub in our second room seem to have a mind of its own it didnt work at first then randomly turned on as we were draining the tub and water got everywhere.

The hotel checked every box. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful.
The room was comfortable and the athletic facilities are amazing. The location to downtown and the Riverpark is perfect.
Everything is within a short walk from the hotel, including great restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

Beautifully renovated 110+ year old property. Access to clubhouse facilities - pool, gym etc.
Restaurant was OK. Apricot chutney for pork chops was really a mustard sauce. Not good for me.

close to the Spokane arena. 1910 restaurant with delicious food. cafe with protein drink and expresó

The location was great. The building is old and historic with a lot of charm, different from your average chain hotel.
No on-site parking, just street parking. You can pay for access to a gated indoor parking garage about a block away. No breakfast either, but there was a small coffee shop/cafe in the attached sports club.
3.5
Nice spot paying for parking was not openly advertised and I wouldn't have stayed if they advertised 14 dollar surcharge to park
Lack of free parking
