The check in was easy. Parking is free.
The room was disgusting. I usually stay in higher end hotels, but this was a sudden trip, so I booked it to fill a need (a need to sleep after a nearly 12 hour drive). The motel was ok at check in, but immediately I realized this was no Westin lol. After being warned 3 separate times to not smoke inside (I don’t smoke!!) I signed the paper and got my key.
The room smelled like old wet dog. I ran the AC to try to get the smell to fade. The bed was clean and very comfortable, the pillows were awful.
The TV is a 40” ehhh, and had no HBO, or means to put your Netflix, etc on it. Ok, that’s whatever, I had just driven 12 hours. But then I wanted to shower- the tile in the shower had mold. The tub was peeling from a shoddy paint job. The shower head is the hand held type from 1990, with poor water pressure and didn’t hang up right, so the water poured onto the back wall and to the floor, so I had to hold it. The sink had cigarette burns. The linoleum was peeling from the wall/floor. The bathroom door had deep gauges in it. There were holes in the wall with poorly applied plaster. The lamps didn’t work.
The towels were worse than dollar store wash rags.
The sink looked like it came from a jail. The carpet in the room was sticky to my feet so I wore shoes. The alarm clock was broken and from 1988. There were no tv channel guides, no welcome sign with check out time, no local restaurants to try/order in.
The morning breakfast was disgusting coffee with no creamer or milk!!! The bananas were brown. Nothing else available.
The lock on the door is a flimsy chain. I felt uncomfortable since I was right by the doors (room 102).

Absolutely nothing
The property was dirty and rundown. There were no towels in my room and 30 minutes after requested I went to the front desk and she was laying back talking to someone, not a customer, and ignored me for another five minutes.

The hostel overbooked our reservation. We arrived late at night and they told us no rooms were available despite us having a booking.

Easy access to Highway 101, plenty of food establishments within walking distance and a grocery store right across the street!

Clean, affordable room. Had all the essentials, and staff was accommodating.
Initially, we were placed in a “non-smoking” room that smelled like smoke, but the staff was apologetic and quickly moved us to a different room.

it had everything we needed for a comfortable night stop. The staff were very helpful and they gave us a convenient ground floor room as requested.
Macdonald’s drive in was a right outside the window

The location was close to a few stores and fast food restaurant's .
Everything. This was the worst hotel my family and I have ever stayed in. The hotel itself was dirty and very loud. With people in and out all night. We worried about our vehicles being broke into at night. The room we stayed in was very dirty and smelled musty upon checking in. They claim to offer continental breakfast for $6 extra which consisted of packaged breakfast pastries and granola bars. The worst part of our stay was horrinle bug bites we all ended up having. We weren't sure if the bites were from fleas in their room or bedbugs but when we let the front desk know our concerns they were extremely rude to us and told us we were not allowed to come back to their motel. They also kept our $100 deposit and refused to let us speak to their manager. I would never recommend this hotel unless you were extremely desperate and had no other options.

AC works well. That's it.
Room reeked of cigarette smoke, but they make you pay a deposit so you don't smoke in the room. Very sketchy. Floors, bathroom, bedding, all of it grimy. Roach motel feel 1000000%.
