Debra from the front desk caught an error with our reservation and took care of it. I initially booked with Priceline but received the same room for $10 less with Booking.com. I asked Debra about my bill because it looked like I was paying the higher rate from Priceline. Debra investigated and sure enough, we were. Even though I received a cancellation number with Priceline, Priceline did not send the cancellation to Bally's, so I had two reservations. Debra canceled the one that should have been canceled and charged the lower rate with Booking.com. I truly appreciate Debra's professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. Thank you, Debra!
I tried to write this information in the area that asked me to sum up my stay, but I need more room. I want Bally's, formerly Eldorado, to know that I LOVE the character of this hotel. The beautiful ceiling outside, above the driveway area is an indication that I am about to walk into an elegant hotel. First time there, by the way. When I walked through the doors, the floors were beautiful, the reservation area was welcoming with the timeless wooden front, topped with the elegant granite or marble, and the lighting was very attractive. I loved seeing the valet area, which is fading away at most of the family style hotels. The bedroom was gorgeous and spacious, and the bathroom was lovely. The marble flooring, granite or marble countertops, and the material used in the shower were beautiful. The exquisite, large, light-changing ceiling fixture in between the escalators was breath-taking! Every employee we made eye contact with were friendly, helpful, and attentive. This includes Debra and the other employees at the reservation counter, the security staff members, the ladies at the casino customer service window, the young lady at the front restaurant "to-go area", and the friendly and helpful young man in the gift shop on Sunday morning!!!
The bathroom remodel is very nice but it is now time for maintenance to go back and re-touch the remodeled items to make them look new again. For example, we were in room 1635... The bedroom was nice, smelled good, spacious, and overall beautiful. The bathroom had a dirty area in the crevice of the outside shower wall near the floor, the wallpaper was crinkled near the wall phone, and the beautiful lamps over the sink area had chipped areas on the pole underneath the shade. There was a dead spider in the bathtub, but the spider could have died after the bathroom was cleaned. The above areas that need to be re-touched are handled by maintenance, in collaboration with housekeeping.

I like that they had a non smoking floor of the casino. The restaurant, while pricy, was very good. Not too mention the free drinks.
We would've liked a slightly later check out time, but I understand. The only thing that really disappointed us was the lack of a hot tub.

Needs an update. Escalators were closed. Only 2 of the elevators were working.

it could’ve been nice, but it was horribly dirty. There were hairs in the bathtubs on the soap. The bedding was missing on parts of the bed. All the surfaces were dirty you could see hand prints in the bathroom. There was just dust everywhere in the corners and dirt.
very dirty

The location was good.
The room was not very clean (found hair and stains on the bed), only one trash can in the whole room, no plugs by the bed, 1/2 roll of TP (ran out), not enough towels (had to get more from angry cleaning lady), etc, etc.

Friendly staff, comfortable and safe.
The room was not 100% clean: dingy windows and shower floor, crayon stuck to the desk, no microwave.

At 1 am in the morning another person tried to come I to our room. There key opened ours. Thank God we had the metal bar over the lock.

Clean, comfortable, & relaxing atmosphere. perfect for the R&R that I was needing and not the hustle and bustle that you usually get when staying at a hotel casino. friendly staff in the Sportsmans café, I love asking the staff for recommendations off the menu, and my waitress did not disappoint and to top it all off. I’ve never had a strawberry jubilee cake so her recommendation was just to die for. oh and loved the view of the river from my room, the relaxing bath that I got to take. the only thing missing in the tub was the Jets.
inside the casino itself the staff was not very helpful
