The location was beautiful and tucked away quietly from town. The pool was oceanside and amazing! Kayaks and bikes and a boat ride available for use.
The staff was wonderful.
Downsides: Partially updated rooms with new carpet needed. Outdated game room and gym. The restaurant was very expensive. We ate in town. No microwave in the room. There was no campfire during the week, which would have been wonderful. Amenity prices should be lower during the week if some are only going to be offered for the weekend.
We would possibly stay again if we came back to the area. There is a great historical history about this hotel.

Beautiful property with incredible views and lots of activities for families. The grounds were lovely and they have a lot of unique activities to enjoy. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We loved staying there and hope to come back!
The room smelled a little—the carpet needs a deep clean. Need instructions for working the AC—it was hard to figure out and left us dealing with an almost 80 degree room for over an hour.

very nice location and private
it was not put on their website at the time of my booking that their ocean side pool was not in working order and neither was their boat.

The staff here were excellent. All really friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The setting is beautiful and just a short drive (or free trolley ride) into Boothbay Harbor. The food in the hotel restaurants was excellent. It was rather expensive and we had planned to go out for breakfast some mornings in order to save some money, but it was so good that we ate in the hotel every day. We had lunch a couple of times and dinner each night as well. We ate in the Whiteclover restaurant one evening while the kids were in the kids club and enjoyed it. Portions all generous!

the views were stunning
I had dogs staying in the rooms on both sides of me and they barked every time I moved. it was further from the airport than I expected

The Spruce Point Inn is a gorgeous property in Mid Coast Maine. It is so picturesque. It was close enough to town, but not in the middle so you had the benefit of the quiet of the coast. Highly recommend! Would stay here again.
Our fireplace in our room was stuck on the pilot light. The maintenance crew came immediately and tried to fix it. Unfortunately we could never get it passed the pilot light but were plenty warm with the heater in the room.

Loved the view and the property. The herb garden was very nice, the room was super spacious and the views were beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the room had a covered cove porch. We picked the spot at the last minute and it was the last day that the resort was open. Our food was very good at the onsite restaurant, both dinner our first night and the breakfast the morning after.
The negative for us, was that some of the staff treated us aloofly.
I can just say, that you should not judge a book by it's cover. Jeans and a flannel do not mean that you cannot afford a nice stay and that you do not tip well.

The excellent location and serene property with a nature trail are so relaxing and perfect for the Maine experience. Beds are very comfortable and the room is spacious with a nice big balcony and bay view. we will definitely be back. In the evening the campfire with marshmallows is a nice touch and there is a perfect game room for groups or children to enjoy that has bathrooms attached. also the fitness room was a plus and has Peloton bikes!
everything was divine

Location, friendly staff
The resort is a little "tired".
Like everywhere else these days, they were short staffed. Bar closed at 9 pm !

Great location. beautiful setting. Lots of on site activities. And yet close enough to town and many more things to do.
Some things were a little “tired” looking.

The Wi-Fi quality was highly variable and sometimes for several hours (late afternoon and early morning and in the morning after nine) very poor to non-existent. It obviously was not a question of the location (we stayed at Larch seven), .but a question of capacity. Because if there was not much request to time but others it worked quite well, however in in times of high need it didn't work at all. That is unacceptable for Hotel with this kind of room charge.

The property is beautiful. Pools were clean.
i wish they were more clear regarding the many options of rooms lodges etc.. we would have liked more privacy, perhaps an individual lodge would have been better for us. Not many options at all at the one available restaurant, although Diego (his first week) worked with the chef to hook me up w/ something more my palate

The resort is in a beautiful location with great views of the harbor and lighthouse. Our room and bathroom were much larger than expected. The resort offered fun activities for families and trail walks on site. We will stay there again.
