Laid back vibe, view of the mountains were spectacular, and the hotel was so comfortable! Looking forward to another stay!
I loved everything about this property.
3.0
Location: the grounds are beautiful. The lounge and bar area are nice and so is the shop and small cinema. The fire pit was also great.
Axe throwing activity : staff was great and fun. Everyone had a great time.
We did a couple’s massage. The robes and sleepers that they gave us looked brown and dirty, it was very disgusting, not a great way to start our massage. Massage was OK but the whole experience was certainly not worth over $500 for 50 minutes.
The bed was a very tall old bed that gave me and my wife neck and back pain, they could at least buy a better mattress.
Tennis courts are Not clay, they are some sort of artificial red grass of some sort and it was moldy in areas, very dangerous.

Very friendly service personnel throughout the hotel facilities. The view is marveless.
The dinner location in the hotel was very noisy and kind of un-personal. It was more like a "train-station-atmosphere". Food was ok.

They were able to accommodate a late check in and we woke up to the mountains the next day. Breakfast buffet was fine and started off our busy day in the white mountains.
Room was very small for $300 a night. It was my wife's birthday so special.

Location and hotel grounds are great. Size of the room was very nice.
Tried to eat at restaurant Wednesday night. Ended up getting up and going somewhere else. Took too long to get going. 20 minutes after seating we only got water. Think your prices on the menu are ridiculous and I’m not going to sit that long and pay those prices. Tried the buffet the next morning. Good but again not worth that price. I may stay again some day but won’t dine there.

Very pretty resort
Parking was very far from the guest entrance, especially when arriving after dark.

Not their fault this year has been so rainy, but the golf course was very wet

The views and location is spectacular. The property is well maintained and everything looked fine.
The manager Anthony is a bit rude and looked overworked. Came to our room 5 minutes after we walked in and told us that we should keep quiet. Honestly, I was the only one in the room.

Such a beautiful hotel! Amazing location, so fancy :) We love the animals they have there. Our room was a corner room with amazing views. We couldnt have asked for a better room for just the two of us. The room is tiny but all we needed, who cares with the view. Beautiful time to visit with the spring blooms.
The execution of the emenities isn't always top notch. There is a very nice looking fire pit and they advertise nightly smores from 7-9 pm. My partner and I got there at 8:15 and all there was was a bucket of used sticks and bags of marshmallows thrown on the table. They ran out of everything. When you walk up there is an attendant but its been a young kid the both times I have stayed there and no hello, didnt say a word. There are big rocks that surround the fire pit but the wood fire is only about a quarter of the size in the center. You have to kind of step over the larger rocks and kind if balance and hope you do not fall. They serve coffee in the morning but I noticed a fishy smell right away. From years of restaurant experience that is either due rancid coffee beans or the carafes are not being cleaned correctly. It tasted gross, however there was yummy green mountain coffee in your rooms.

the property apparently changed owners in recent months and renovations were not complete. many staff members seemed unsure of protocols. restaurant prices were very high.

Really nice hotel/location with a beautiful view of the mountains. We had a corner room at the end of the hall which was great and it had a comfy bed. We ate at the bar every night and enjoyed the food! We also appreciated the daily events and were humbled by our trivia knowledge. Would recommend!
It's an inn so sound travels. We could hear the TV and footsteps upstairs. However, it didn't disrupt our sleep, all was quiet after-hours.

The surroundings are beautiful. The spa is nice and a relatively good value for the money spent on services. Lobby and bar ambiance are nice.
The room sizes are quite small, and the bed also seemed smaller than a Queen which is what was advertised. The bathroom was just okay; adequate but small, and compared to rooms I’ve stayed in at other places of similar size, was much less nice. The main restaurant had good food, but the setting seemed more like a continental breakfast type setup, and was not a cozy experience with good ambiance; waitstaff was inexperienced and food and drinks were delivered with awkward timing, sometimes too slow and sometimes too fast. Dropoff was not easy; there is a large set of stairs at the front door and it wasn’t clear how to get your luggage in, as there were no attendants/bellhops outside. For such an expensive room rate and resort fees, this resort did not deliver in terms of an all-around top notch amenity/service, luxury experience.
