Good location,
bathroom needs higher toilets installed, both tv's hocked up to cable, real working fireplaces, a chair or two in rooms.

The breakfast had no hot foods all the things that were there were frozen reheated items. The photos dont reflect the actual room. The room is right next to the main road so hear cars till late and early mornings. The wifi was not working well. There were cutlery items missing in a kitchenette room. There was no aircon in the room.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The motel was in a convenient spot for driving to town or the RMNP. The beds were comfortable enough.
The pictures we saw online of the bathroom did not match our room. I imagine the photos were of a more recently renovated portion of the motel.

Staff was amazing. They made my kids hot chocolate and were so friendly! The room was a great size and perfect for a family of four. We loved having a king and queen instead of some kind of pull out couch. It was a four minute drive into Estes downtown, we loved being so close! We will visit again!
The shower head was broken and fell on my husband while showering. The ice bucket was broken so it leaked. However, none of that ruined our trip!

My husband and 2 dogs stayed at Murphy’s Resort for a small weekend getaway. It was very clean and in the perfect location. Its a minute or two from downtown so it still has the quiet and peaceful environment. We woke up to elk right outside our room so that was a bonus. The staff was helpful and it was an overall wonderful stay!

The people were great, staff excellent.
The breakfast was not good. The room looked nothing like the pictures. It was noisy, not sure what was on the roof or in the ceiling.

Super friendly and responsible staff
The wood floor made a bit sound when walked around. Breakfast was a bit simple, but it was fair.

The continental breakfast could be improved.

Conveniently located to Estes and RMNP, lots of attractions and things to do around. The room has many features that would normally cut the cost of travel, but I had to leave my wheelchair in the car, and because I cannot stand long enough to use those amenities, they were worthless to us, but it might have been nice if I could have gotten my wheelchair in. We booked her because friends of our had an amazing experience, ours was less than stellar.
We had to ask for someone to clear the path to our room as it was heavily covered in ice/snow. I am in a wheelchair, (mentioned at time of booking), and the room is not wheelchair accessible. It should have been quite noticeable, as I went into the office to check in with my wife. Nothing was said to me in the office of the difficulties I might have getting around the room. We had chosen this place because we haven’t been able to celebrate our honeymoon because we got married right before COVID, and travel restrictions cause cancellation of plans, and Laura, my wife, was having a double knee replacement immediately upon our return. One of our friends stayed there for there for her Anniversary with her husband, and couldn’t say enough about how this location went above and beyond, flowers on arrival to the room, a card for their anniversary and well wishes re: recovery for her upcoming surgery, and she couldn’t say enough about how the property went to great lengths to ensure their comfort during their stay. We didn’t get the same treatment, and their stay was not that long ago. Same scenario between both couples, I think, but handled WAY DIFFERENTLY. There is only one difference and I truly hope that it isn’t because of the fact we are same sex.

Clean. Nice hot tub. Friendly staff.
Microwave didn't even have hot plate in it. Power was off for almost two hours during the day and we couldn't relax in our room or use anything. Rooms were not as nice as the pictures showed.

Beautiful views, close to downtown Estes Park; for shopping, souvenirs, and restaurants. Large area in the center of the complex for grilling, a playground, horseshoes, and swimming pool. Murphy's is a pet friendly facility and has designated rooms. If they are out of designated pet friendly rooms, you can still reserve a room but will have a $250.00 pet charge that will be charged if your pet does damage.
Pillows are flatter than pancakes. The room is outdated, and the heater was in a bad location; on the wall aimed at the closet and not the room.

The snow was plowed in front of our door, almost slipped and fell a couple of times.

The location and staff were awesome. The rooms were very clean upon arrival
cleaning service never came through out my stay which was a bit disappointing.

One of the few pet friendly hotels in Estes. Convenient location for nearby activities. Comfortable beds. Great staff and service, excellent and timely communication.
Rooms and property were dated. Pet fee was a bit high for one night. These days, hotel rooms should have hard floors rather than carpet (easier to keep clean and feels more sanitary).
