Superb
The manager and staffs attention to make your visit all you expected despite Covid restrictions. We stayed in the motel reminiscent of a bunk house. Very clean, Western deco, simple but comfy.
Cindy & staff were very accomadating. She went way above expectations in providing a horseback riding experience for my Grandson because I made a mistake and booked it for the day we were leaving. I know she took valuable time out of her day to do the ride herself. This a laid back restful ranch experience. Check to be sure all services are available. The kitchen was not during our stay due to Covid. It is an 8 to 12 mile drive for food. We enjoyed our 2 day stay.

Beautifully peaceful and clean lodging in the middle of heaven... and delicious food.
The staff were so kind and friendly but also not invasive. Lovely weather, clean lodging, and amazing food. They even emailed us a recipe and accommodated my no dairy diet. The horse ride was beautiful and peaceful too and our guide Shammah was knowledable and easy to talk to. I especially liked eating outside on the picnic tables and the walks along the river. Horseshoes was a challenge as I stink badly at it but also fun activity. Everyone staying there was quiet but friendly and all in all, it was a lovely respite from the chaos of our then smokey LA home. Cynthia particularly was so gracious in all interactions and even allowed my forgetful son to print his SAT registration which was early Saturday morning in Telluride. One note, we are not religious, and my son in particular is a raging atheist, and I didn't know it was a christian ranch when I booked, but I want to say that it was in no way heavy handed and I might not have even noticed. I was touched by the note on the pillow about all of us being travellers in this weary world and that sign was indicative of the entire experience there - peace, kindness and rejuvenation.
The only small thing was the ranch site said they had wifi but wifi was sketchy in our motel room at best. My son, who was doing class remotely, had to go to the main lodge and even there the video kept buffering. Frankly, I might not have chosen it if I knew ahead the internet was spotty as he had important classes. So in a way, I'm glad since we got to stay here...such a lovely place and the internet and phone reception was manageable if just checking email...you don't go to Colorado and horse country to be on the internet anyway.
