Beautiful facility. Employees were wonderful, especially Robert and Hannah. The gals at the pool were awesome as well.
Need hand holds in bathroom shower area. Safety issue for those with bad knees!!

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. So much to see and do.
I wasn't told about the pet fee till check in. My dog wasn't allowed to be alone in the room and was only allowed outside but not in the pool area. This made it extremely difficult to stay with my dog and my daughter.

Beautifully preserved
Restaurant choices and services are limited

The well kept grounds, the very nice pools and courteous staff, great places to enjoy the outdoors, opportunities to learn more about the history of the facility, the beautiful rooms with balconies and the many fun options and events available.
Did not see a restaurant that offered breakfast; unless we missed seeing it. Appears many are still learning about the history of the Bedford Inn and look forward to the museum being developed.

Our room was so beautiful! We loved it!

Good location!!! Lots of hiking and physical exercise options!!!
It was an old building and some of the hallways had uneven floors!!! Not the best for older folks like us!!!

love the historical renovations.

Location. Architecture. Rooms were lovely. Bathroom was great. Beds were comfy.

Wonderful resort with a great spa and swimming pool.
If you make use of hotel facilities (spa, restaurants, etc.) it quickly becomes expensive. The hotel charges a resort fee that covers limited services that should have been standard.

The historic hotel is beautiful and the spa was very lovely! Indoor pool area was nice and quiet.
Our original room was not cleaned before we were given keys, so we went to lunch waiting for it to be serviced. By the time we got back, the bed was made but the bathroom hadn’t been touched. There was pee on the toilet seat, hair and used soap in the tub, sticky stuff on the ground, etc. Only after we complained again did they move us to a different room, but it was hard to have confidence that everything in the room was properly cleaned after that.

I arrived at night in December and this beautiful historic hotel was all lit up! They have a Tesla charging station and the Valet made sure my car was fully charged before I left. I had a very late dinner and early breakfast with room service and the staff and food were excellent. I enjoyed the many antique photographs that decked the walls. The town seems quaint with plenty to see and do. I only stayed one night because I was just passing through on a long road trip, but would like to stay again for a longer vacation with family.
The drains in my bathroom sink and tub were a bit slow, but everything was otherwise very clean.

spa amazing. 1796 restaurant amazing
staff seemed not welcoming and overworked. we were overlooked it seemed. valet seemed bothered. and you can only valet and we had dinner reservations at 730 and at 8 pm table not ready but they were seating other parties of 2 like us that had reservations at 745. we had to check in twice.

The hotel is so unique with lots of historical values. The pool looks like it's from a Wes Anderson movie. We were travelling with lots of things and the staff was helpful all the way.
Lack of cell phone reception.
4.4
Beautiful setting great restoration and interior design, very well appointed comfortable room, lots of nice sitting areas with vistas
very poor wine selection with a wine list that charges a 4 x cost for Decoy Sauvignon Blanc by bottle or per glass cost > 1 bottle. Food and service were good but very high prices especially for breakfast

Great atmosphere and wonderful grounds.
pet friendly, indoor/outdoor pool and spa is fantastic.
The heating/air conditioning unit was making a noise intermittently.
4.4
The Crystal room was great as well as the service.
The hollandaise sauce on the poached eggs was a bit bitter.
4.4
The meals are overpriced so we ate in the town of Bedford.
I did not like how over priced the meals were at the resort.

Breakfast was fine and pleasant. Grounds were beautiful as was the appearance of the hotel.
a shorter wait to be seated or recognized at dinners. As my wife mentioned, the place looks 'worn', somewhat dark in certain areas.
