Loved having a laundry facility. Breakfast was make your own but very adequate. Liked having tea or coffee available all day and a kitchen to work with.
I didnât like the sheets. Felt slippery , sleazy.

Exceptionally well laid out floor plan, every attention to detail. You could not want for more! Very friendly and responsive host. Great breakfast choices!
It was perfect.

the location was good
The property description was misleading. The booking looked like a one room apartment with a kitchen and a living room. It is a room in a house with a shared kitchen and living room. It did have a private bathroom.

We arrived in Valdez on Sunday the day of âGold Rush Daysâ celebration down town and the roads to the B&B were partially blocked (We ended up going to the celebration and having dinner there). but when we did arrive no one was there to let us in. We called Lorna, our host, and were given the code for home entry and and directions to our room. The B&B is located in a nice residential area in Valdez. The whole bottom floor is the B&B and the upper floor is where the family lives. There were four rooms with private bathrooms around a central area with dining table and kitchen, an adjacent living room with couches, massage chair and laundry room for guests. It was a very nice arrangement and we had the opportunity to meet many other interesting visitors, some from other countries. The breakfast was self serve with many foods like yogurt, juice, milk, muffins, bagels, cereal, eggs, etc.. We could also store our own food in the refrigerator. It was very clean and nicely furnished. We had a queen bed and another single bed in the room. The room was not large but with the community spaces is was very comfortable and felt very homey. Later, Lorna had lots of information about Valdez history and places to visit. It was particularly interesting how they handled the extreme amount of winter snow they receive, how they clear it from their roofs and from around their homes. Valdez is a smallish town and the B&B was within walking distance to many restaurants, the waterfront, museums, and the ferry to Whittier. We highly recommend this B&B Inn.

Everything, from the beginning, was great. Wonderful hospitality, clean place and cozy atmosphere. The multiple suggestions made by the owner (sightseeing, restaurants, cruiser...) were all great.

location
Not much privacy and my door was difficult to close/lock.

It was clean ,the common rooms were spacious. The showers were a little small, had a cold shower one night and the room was quite cool during the day. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice.
Temperature of the room a little warmer during the day time. Was unhappy with a cold shower as I take a short shower this was very frustrating.

Location was good, continental breakfast was well provisioned, host gave great info on the area and set breakfast out early so we could take it to go on our departure.
We had a squeaky mattress, but no one had told the owner about it previously and she promised to replace it in short order.

Plentiful breakfast, a lot of varieties. A quiet and conveniently located place.
A room with more space. The room has a queen and a double beds, but there are only 2 of us. It would have been nice if the double bed is removed from the room to give us extra space.

Highly recommend this very nice B&B. The owners are friendly and helpful. The automated massage chair is addictive and amazing. Great location.

Their muffins are so good!! I regretted that I did not take two more with me.
Also the massage chair is amazing.

At first I didn't like my room because I was used to the modern decor with brighter bed comfortable and sheets but after a couple hours I got used to them. This place felt like home because the hosts had everything we needed: from the bath towels, bathroom basic needs, to the kitchen stocked with foods. Everything was cleaned. I liked that the TV has cable and the internet connection was fast. The family has nice relaxing music with a massage chair (my favorite room.)
The bed was uncomfortable. I felt every movement when my husband turned. The bed sheets and comforters felt nice but I wish they change the color and style for a more upbeat mood. I felt like I was at my grandmother's house or stuck in the 70s.
This place runs by a husband wife couple. They live upstairs. The first impression with the wife was ok. She seemed upset when we didn't take our shoes off at the door. We didn't know. We had just arrived. The husband was super friendly the whole time. Maybe the wife (sorry we didn't asked for names) smile a little bit more to make her guests feel a little welcome at the very beginning. She was matter of fact and kept looking at our shoes the whole time we were paying her.
