camere piccolissime, senza finestra e senza cambio aria. Bagni tutti in comune, sia maschi sia femmine e due docce (da condividere anche quelle)

The location wasn't bad.
The hours of business aren't staffed everyday. They leave people w/ outside after 7,8,9pm and don't answer the phone regardless if they have a reservation. Few people aren't healthy staying in there.

The guy at the front was ok.
I will say that one of the guys at the front was decent. But a guy I talked to over the phone was the rudest person that I’ve ever experienced in the service industry.

Outside of it being close to the metro station , that is the only likeable thing about it. Otherwise, nothing. BEWARE! If you already booked this place, I wish you luck that you have a better experience than I did. I hope you have better experiences than me with this place.
Absolutely terrible customer service at front desk at night! The worst place I’ve ever stayed! would not give a single star.My flight was delayed unexpectedly and I booked place ahead of time.i tried calling them around 9 times at all hours of the day to let them know of delayed situation and I’d be late, but no one picked up.Tried emailing them that was provided from email and that didn’t work. There’s no way no one could miss the calls and not pick up as I called many times at their normal hours.8 people, including Uber driver, couldn’t find the place. There’s no sign at all in front of the place, so it’s very confusing to find at night. You can easily pass it many times and not realize it(I went around the block for more than an hour searching for it, although I was dreadfully tired by that point).I thought I was being scammed. No one was at front desk by time of arrival, looked very empty and deserted, there’s no security also. Didn’t feel safe. there’s no bell or anything to let them know you arrived other than luck or a guest helps you. the front desk guy wasnt very welcoming, with no compassion or care, I felt he was disrespectful and dismissive to the point I’d rather sleep outside in hot sun with dogs biting my ankles than be here, id feel more welcome there than here. When i tried to explain it was because of my delayed flight that i was late and I was sorry , He told me it wasn’t his problem and sounded like my fault that I didn’t show up to check in on time due to flight delayed. As if it was my fault my plane was late and I caused the plane delay. There was no care from him,he didn’t try to ask if I need anything,no support of guest or consideration,no welcoming feel at all towards guest, other than telling me “we are a hostel”.I’ve been to Many hostels and staff were much better than this, there’s no excuse.I understand if theyre tired, but that’s no excuse.
Outside of this,Shower bathroom on 2nd floor had no working dryer,NO hot water.Beds are like legos.

Localização
the organization of the hostel is terrible, there is no cutlery and glasses available for use, the cleaning is not adequate, the rooms are not comfortable, the shower does not have HOT WATER, one of the employees is not friendly, I do not recommend this hostel!

location was ok
It was dirty in the common areas, very small, uncomfortable bed, very noise both from the street and hallway didn’t get any sleep at all, shared bathroom with thin shower curtain, unfriendly staff, strange people staying there, no safety looker in the room, felt unsafe and the vibe was strange.

Access to local area transportation and ease of facilities services.
Hygiene of some of other guests leaves something to be desired.

Staff were reasonably helpful, the bathroom and showers were acceptable.
When I was arrived I was assigned to a dorm, which I entered only to have a gentleman yell at me "what do you think you're doing man, this is my room!" When I went back to the reception he chased after me and said "the bunkbed is broken, there's no way he can share my room". Clearly this isn't the fault of the staff but it would be nice not to have to deal with crazy people who don't want to share. I got moved to another room which was fine I guess but again populated with some unusual people, one guy who kept coming in and out of the room until about 3am and then another who got up and packed to leave at about 6am. The bunks were bare bones with just a sheet and blanket folded at the foot of the bed.

Excellent value for money and location. Shower and laundry facilities were superb. I can't argue with only having to pay around 100 dollars for 4 nights. Couldn't expect much better given it's a Hostel.
I got lucky as I was only sharing a 4 bunk room with at most 1 other person each night. Had the room been full then it would have been cramped as the room was small. Also the mattress wasn't very comfortable although this didn't really bother me as I had been on an 8 week hike before arriving in DC.

The staff that checked me in was really nice. That room was small, but enough for a few nights.
Showers are really small.

alittle drab on the. outside but clean and organized within
outside looked like an abandoned building

Decent price and handy for buses/trains
Supermarket round the corner
Beds reasonably comfy for the price and enough space for bags in the room
Bathroom isn’t very clean and both bathrooms are mixed gender (you can lock it from the inside which makes a difference but is a bit off putting as a young girl sharing bathrooms with older men)
Surrounding area is nice during the day but can be a bit intimidating walking home at night

This was the cheapest option to stay in central Washington DC. It was nice to to meat and discuss with local people. There is a metro and citybike station very close. The neighbourhood feels safe except for the street of the hostel itself.
A great proportion of guests in this hostel are not staying for touristic reasons but have some sort of business at town, and this is reflected in how they use the space provided, e.g. the stuff of a guest in our room was rather scattered not leaving much space for us. This also holds for the fridges, they were totally full. The rooms are rather small, many of them don't have windows (we were lucky to have one with them). The beds are noisy to move in-and-out, very simple string mattress in them. The ladder to the upper bunk was missing. The kitchen is well-equipped but a bit small again for the size of the hostel, a bigger table or more chairs would be nice. The biggest problem was probably that there are no separate bathrooms for male/female guests and the showers are only separated with a curtain, i.e. there is no dry space to undress before and dress after the shower. There is one single lockable shower (with a door) though on the ground floor that is a plus. The street is rather noisy during nights and strange / drunk people were often hanging out right in front of the entrance. Overall, it was not a relaxing and nice experience.

The other folks staying there were nice.
Thin walls, heard alot of people snoring. Beds not really comfortable, super noisy when you slept on them, people did not clean after themselves in the bathroom and kitchen.

THE FACILITY LOOKED GOOD BUT VERY POORLY MANAGED
THE MANAGEMENT WAS VERY POOR AND HORRIBLE.PAYING TO LODGE IN THE DACILITY IS LIKE THROWING MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN BECAUSE RHE ROOMS WERE POORLY MANAGED AND GUEST COMFORT,ROOM PRIVACY AND HEALTH WERE NOT IMPORTANT TO THE MANAGERS OF THE FACILITY

the location was great, there is a Metro station very close to the hostel and a busstation too! :)) security was great too!
the beds were not comfortable, you could feel the metal feathers poking through… and the bathrooms were not as clean, but I think that was the fault of the visitors (one shaved his beard and the hair was still in the sink) but all in all it was ok for the money!
