Very beautiful and cozy. Clean, well kept. The staff are friendly and leave you be, to enjoy the space. I love it here. Breakfast is wonderful too.

the bed and the pillows
all the rest: the staff, the (lack of) service, having breakfast out of cardboard plates, the restaurant and bar being closed...

Breakfast was very good

All was fine except the dining room was closed on the night we stayed.

The pool is heated and wonderful…had it all to myself. The staff was helpful and the rooms very comfortable.

We liked the view of the water, the quiet, the comfortable bed, the pool and hot tub.
I was told that the breakfast would be very good but it was below average. The food was cold and the second morning, there was no coffee and we had to make a request and wait for 10 minutes while it was brewed.
The dinner was only average in spite of the cost. We went to dinner at the Woodstock Inn the second night and while it was more costly, the food was excellent. Overall, we were disappointed in the food.

Everything with the exception of last night did not receive fresh towels

The bed was very comfortable
The pool and sauna were lovely
Dinning room staff were very pleasant
The room door handle was very sharp.
The furnishings were a little "tired" (scuffed, closet doors didn't close properly)
Dinner felt rushed

I loved the view from our room. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The food was amazing.

It was a very cute Inn with many areas to meet up with friends. Our king size room was very clean and large. It was an enjoyable stay.

it was very pretty inside and out especially at night with all the lit trees.

Except for the eggs, breakfast was pretty good. More lighting in the dining area would brighten the room, which is quite nice but feels ominous because it's dark. My room was also very nice, and I loved the view. The pool is fantastic!
It was very disappointing that the bar and the dining room were not open on the days of my visit. On the one hand, I can understand the reasoning they were closed, but it's the holiday season, and according to the website, there were only a few rooms left that I could book, which meant to me that by the time I arrived, you would have been fully booked. The price for the room would be more justifiable if there was food and beverage service available.

clean
late notice that they closed the restaurant on a saturday
night (told us at 5pm) and we couldn’t get in elsewhere. they had no information about having food delivered to the hotel from elsewhere. that was not impressive. also they paved the parking lot on a saturday night during peak leaf season. (in so doing they closed off entrance to hotel in dark of night which made driving into hotel difficult and dangerous. ). this was a nice motel but without the restaurant really nothing special.
