The rooms were comfortable and clean but what made the stay worth considering a return in the future was the staff. Kish was marvelous and super accommodating. He made us all feel welcomed and cared for during our stay.
The only regret was not being able to stay longer. I would have liked to have had more time there to enjoy our stay more.

I found the day and evening staff, very accommodating and polite, during my 4 day, 3 night stay. I couldn't get the television to work, that night, and when I called the front desk, that staff person came right down to my room and remedied the situation. The following day, I couldn't get the coffee machine, in my room, to work. Again, staff responded promptly, and tried to see if the outlet wasn't working, by plugging the machine in other outlets. He determined that the coffee machine was broken and he went back to his office then returned to my room, with another coffee machine. He stayed until we were both reassured that this replacement coffee machine was working. I also enjoyed the clean room and clean bathroom, and having a microwave, refrigerator, TV, WIFI, and coffee machine in my room. There was also a hairdryer but I didn't use it. I felt safe, in and out of my room, at all times and I was fortunate to secure a handicap parking spot, the entire time of my stay. I left the premises, each day, for a few hours, and I was grateful for that handicap parking spot, upon my return. The Village Inn Diner, 2 minutes, up the road, makes great meals.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like, during my stay at Merida. I deperately needed peace and quiet, with WIFI, television and coffee access, and a clean room, and that's what I got.

finally got the room they show on site, that one is reasonably and don’t smell for smoke. But the room they give us in the first place smells horrible.

Super easy check in & check out. The hotel was very nicely decorated & cozy. Definitely a good value for the price in comparison to others in the area.
Location was a little "out of the way" but that was to be expected.

This is a very nice mom and pop owned motel. They take pride in their ownership and it shows in the best of ways. Owner was very knowledgeable in shuttles/taxi, restaurants and what clubs/bars are the best. If we needed anything that was not already in the room upon arrival all we had to do was ask...(we found nothing lacking or missing 😊).

Very clean and beds were super comfortable. The owner Kish( I think) was probably the nicest guy I have ever met. Very friendly and obviously cares about his place. Would definitely stay there again.

I have no complaints about it. It was a good choice for price and location.

Small and cramped, also one of the staff was very rude. One was very nice and helpful (older white guy), but the other just had a terrible attitude and very bad customer service.

The staff was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Check-in was quick and easy.
Close your eyes and imagine the following. You've been awake since 4:30am,you've traveled 1400 miles, it's 7pm, 92 degrees and raining. All you want to do is sleep in a nice, cold room. You open the door to your room, the room is ok but the air conditioner is approx 20 years old and blowing semi humid air into your already saturated room. Your pillow feels like it was washed but never dried completely.

It was very cozy and clean and the staff was awesome. It was located close to everything.
The bathroom was a little small but served the purpose.

The receptionist was very courteous and helpful. Checking in was fast.
It was booked, the change room was not an option. Upon entering the room, carpet showed many stains and it didn't looked was vacuumed. Sheets in bed had stains also. Bed was too soft and pillows kind of flat. Event though we don't spend too much in bathroom it was very tiny. The insulation is poor and you can hear the traffic passing by US 1.
