Bed was comfortable. Nice big breakfast buffet of choices (was VERY busy and crowded, tho). Property is huge. It's in a very quiet location, yet near most anything I wanted to see. They had really nice sitting areas outside with a fireplace, but the weather was not good enough to enjoy this.
Our ac and/or just the fan would not stay on. I use the fan for noise because there were tons of people there with kids, and unfortunately, our room was right above and facing lobby/bar/pool, and it was very loud. Maintenance came up and said that in order for the fan to run all night, I had to keep ac on 67. The room was way too quiet once everybody left the lobby (except for kids running and yelling up and down our hallway). They had enough cover, but I've stayed in many hotels MUCH cheaper that the regular fan would run all night NO problem without having to leave the ac on. The pillows on the bed are very soft, so if you like them firm like I do, bring your own. There were no luggage carts available due to what seemed like people keeping them on their floors, so toting everything up was a pain.
I wanted to enjoy the pool/hot tub/weight room, but there were way too many kids in all 3, and they were extremely loud. You get a complementary drink at certain hours. I don't like wine or beer, so we opted for a mixed drink. My friend from Germany could not drink either because the mixture was not right. The bartender lady put way too much alcohol and very little juice in both drinks. I drank my friends drink, but mine tasted more like straight-up liquor than a mixed drink.

The room was very spacious, clean, & very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and well organized. The evening reception was very relaxing with a enjoyable atmosphere. I really enjoyed my weekend stay!
Parking in the rain was a nightmare. A lot of people did not park correctly; they were over the line preventing others from being able to park. The banquet entrance area is not covered.

Clean rooms with great breakfast included
The manager did a poor job with check in at appropriate time. She stated she would help to get me in a room but then forgot about me and just left as it was time for her to get off. I waited until 4:30p to clock in which was a horrible experience with accommodating with check in. Driving all the way from Florida I was extremely tired and could not check in.

Staff was very nice 😊. Location was excellent! Overall building layout was different but nice 👍🏾
Breakfast needs to include turkey options. Not everyone eats pork. Patio furniture was very dirty. Hallway carpet leading to room was dirty.

The hotel was nice. Beds were comfortable, room was good size and comfortable. Shower was hot. Hotel offers a good selection for breakfast and a great happy hour. We ordered room service and the food was good (hot and seasoned well). The area is a little on the outskirts of downtown Charlotte (about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic).
The parking is free but the lot is shared with at least 2 other hotels. One night after going out, we had to park about 1 block from the hotel on the street because the parking lot was full. Pool was kind of small

The location and space in the room.
Spot skipping dusting the rooms, saw the same issue with an Embassy in Florida.

Breakfast was excellent
We felt the springs in our bed even under the pillow topper. We both shared the couch because that was more comfortable

The bed were very uncomfortable and the thermostat in our room was not working that well.

Charged $50 per night for Incidentals that weren't used. This fee was not communicated to me when the reservation was made. Due to this charge, I will not stay here again unless it is absolutely necessary.
