The hotel is about 4 miles outside of Boulder, which if you want a glimpse of the canyon is wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful with Uber etc info for getting forth into town as I was there for a graduation, not an outdoor experience. I stayed in a 2-queen bed room, with a very nice sized kitchen and table separated from the bedroom with an open wall. This was a bonus as it gave the impression of two rooms. The bathroom was the typical toilet separated from sink area which I prefer. Outside was gorgeous. A very short walk from the main lodge with an outdoor seating area and fire pit. Inside has seating area around the fireplace and table area for seating and having a coffee. Breakfast is not provided though a breakfast sandwich is sold along with beer, wine and other non-alcoholic drinks. My only suggestion was to sell coffee creamer for later night arrivals who do not bring food as there is excellent coffee from a local producer in the rooms. All in all it was great.

The window in our room was broken at both locks and we were unable to lock the window.

The bonfire, the casual and friendly atmosphere. Thank you for having a fan in the room. Thanks for all the information on the facility in the room and events in the area.

Good location to downtown. Hiking trails on site.
Bed was uncomfortable. Despite being an older place it could’ve been cleaner.

I love the rustic location right in the canyon in the trees in the mountains, and I love the adorable young people who came to stay there and visit, and in particular, there was a young man named Lucas from Brazil… And he was just darling and friendly and helpful and charming and a real shout out to him. Thanks Klukas you are a talented artist.
Well, I don’t want to complain because I loved it there but maybe we could do a little bit of cleaning around the edges you know of the baseboards and things like that it was pretty clean though. Oh very nice it’s a hostile after all and I loved it’s rustic quality.

Great location, short drive to Boulder but nice and tucked away in a little valley. Staff were really friendly and the on site hot tub elevated the experience. Really close to lots of great hiking and climbing.
The extractor fan for the shower is a bit loud when in a shared dormitory.

Lovely base to explore the mountains. Clean and warm. The location is perfect. There are trails starting at or nearby the hotel. It is also only like 8 minute's drive to Boulder. It definitely did exceed our expectations. Excellent value for money and perfect for Hikers / Climbers / Mountain bikers. The knowledgeable and friendly staff can help you to plan too with good advice. There is no cell signal but they provide really good and reliable wifi.

Although this space (2 bedroom suite) was good, we preferred the space we had in October, 22- It had a king size bed, and bunk beds, and also a bathtub in the bathroom- This suite had a tiny bathroom with only a shower-
The bathroom was very small and had only a shower-

Clean hostel, friendly stuff, very comfortable lounge (if you want to work or relax without your roommates), cleaning done regularly, calm atmosphere, good wifi, easy check-in and check-out, nice view in the morning
Public bus works only once per hour or once per 2 hr. If you don't have a car, you'll need to use an uber. In the lounge you can buy drinks and chips, but no other snacks so you need to prepare in advance. It's not possible to walk to the downtown- it is too far and not available when dark or icy.

Was welcoming and beautiful setting. Exactly what we were looking for. Staff were amazing and helpful.

We arrived during a blizzard - they were kind to help get us directions to accessing our room after the office closed. I most appreciated that they reached out to help us before we had even landed in CO. The grounds (especially when snow covered) were beautiful. Every morning we walked around the front and enjoyed the stream side views. While the room we stayed in was a pretty typical motel type of space, though it was quite large and could have accommodated 4-5 folks. The front desk/clubhouse type area is impressively nice. We definitely enjoyed a few hours trying the beers on tap while enjoying the space. I could honestly have spent a whole day there. While the location is just outside of Boulder, I do feel that it was worth the short drive to wake up in the mountains each day.
I was surprised that the rooms themselves were so distinctly different in style from the clubhouse space. Additionally, I wished that they had assigned parking because we were in the furthest room from the main parking lot and the smaller lot in front of our room was taken by folks in other buildings by the time we arrived - basically I think that each building should be assigned to one of the parking lots.
Do note that if you are arriving in the winter time during a blizzard, you will need to pass 4wheel drive/snow chain orders to get there.

loved everything !

everything was excellent. only small complaint is that the window blinds did not keep out the light from the string lights which are hung outside and were on all night. so was impossible to have a dark room. other than that everything was really nice and as advertised.

Everything was great as usual. We stay here every time we come to Boulder. Nice clean rooms, great scenery and vibe, honest price. Hot tub is a plus.

The people, hot tub, creek running through the property. Pretty effing rad stuff.
