Location
Zero communication skills. Housekeepers come everyday still dirty. Some people disgusting dirty and smelly. Harassed by a rude man who is in and out of hostel. Owner’s accusation was ridiculous and rude. Bit by bed bags.

The location of the hostell near the main attractions
The inside, the location was excellent but the condition and the maintenance was very poor and dirty with cold shower

Location only.
Regrettably, this hostel stands out as the worst in my 20+ country travels. Late arrivals after 9 pm are not accommodated, as we discovered the hard way, after a flight delay. Gratefully, a fellow guest assisted us in gaining access. The uncomfortable plastic beds and unpleasant room odor left much to be desired. The front door proved to be a persistent challenge. Staff treatment was unwelcoming, creating an atmosphere akin to feeling like intruders, despite having paid. Clear instructions were noticeably absent, contributing to an overall unpleasant experience.

This place is a disgrace. The staff is rude and one of them is living in one of the rooms with guests. He often gets in arguments with guests and I’ve witnessed him kicking people out over disagreements. One guest was doing laundry at night and the employee unplugged the machine leaving the guests clothes all wet. When the guest got upset he kicked him out. There are no posted signs for laundry time. When I offered to stand up for the guest with management the employee threatened me. Another guest had her phone alarm going off and the employee grabbed her phone and walked to the door and tossed the phone into the hallway. This employee refuses to actually help guests though. He sits at the desk some nights and mornings and if you ask for assistance he asks you to come back when someone else is working.

I was switched to a bottom bunk which I needed for health and age reasons
Cold water in shower on second floor. Poor water pressure on first. Only one shower truly functional out of three. No couches to sit on. They removed them

Good location, walking distance to much if downtown.
I never saw any staff. The door to my room got jammed shut in the middle of the night traping me and other roommates in, we had to call the fire department to come, because of the lack of staff they had to break into the building as well as my room. One of my roommates had to use the bathroom during this time.

The receptionist sent us generic message to do check-in till 21, I requested many times to do it late and he sent us the same to lnocl on the door or call a number. once we get in nobody was there so we sneeked in with another people.. once we did a completely drunk an smooked (ganja) old guy was trying to threw us out and also called a police 911 on us.. after him trying to kick us out police come and explained to this guy, that everything is ok and let us stay there. tham the guy left. Need to say, that that is not European style accomodation, it is the cheapest accomodation in DC and full of local people with not money to spent. If you are looking for real USA experience, this is the right place for you.
