Logement agréable à quelques pas de Time square et 10 minutes du métro

Logement bien localisé. Petit mais suffisant car beaucoup de choses à faire à NY

Pas assez de chaises une pour 4 et un torchon pour essuyer la vaisselle aurait pu être bien dans le linge de maison

Muy auténtico y tranquilo

El tamaño de la habitación, el baño, la micro cocina q te hace algún apaño, la nevera.

Un poco alejado de la parada del metro son 11min solo. Pero en una ciudad como NY que caminas durante todo el día, llegar al final del día y tener q pegar ese último paseo cuesta. Aún así volvería sin dudarlo.

Considering current accommodation prices in NYC , Hotel Five 44 was a good price . But it’s a misnomer — is more a boar

Its location & the friendliness + helpfulness of manager / caretaker Mishel ORTEGA .

The water pressure was so bad it was extremely difficult to shower . Plus the place didn’t even have a lobby for a guest to sit out time after checking out before going to airport for a late flight .

Excelent Attention and very well located place

The staff and the location. Very close to lot of places to visit and Mishel help was key!! Thank to his recommendations, we could manage to use the time better.

Great budget hotel in central location

Had a great time here, check in was easy as and the location is pretty central however it's a good 10 min walk to the closest metro station which was totally fine except when we had some late nights out. Very much a first world problem though, would stay again!

Good stay if you are on a budget but don’t expect luxury

Close to Times Square and the centre at a reasonable cost to stay. 10-15 minutes walk. Owner was nice and welcoming and helped with any issues such as power sockets and phone chargers not working. Inside hotel itself was quiet, it was noisy outside at times. New York is a lot of walking in the day, beds were comfy at night. The price of this hotel is reasonable compared to the ridiculous prices of other nearby hotels and helped us save costs on our trip. If you are on a budget it is worth staying as you won’t spend much time in the hotel anyway.

We had issues with our plugs and chargers not working properly. The owner did help with this and provided me with another charger which he didn’t need to do but not clear what the issues with the sockets were so perhaps bring a spare charger. As per other reviews the power of the water in the showers were not great, we did read this in our reviews prior to our visit so it wasn’t unexpected but do be aware that you are not going to get a strong shower if you stay. Outside is very noisy at night. Bathroom does smell and hard to reduce the smell after showers. Outdated decor.

Exceptional

Great location. Friendly staff. Very clean and quite hotel with great kitchen in the room. Fridge, microwave, coffemachine, pots, plates, cups, everything like at home. Thank you so much for amazing vacation!

Brilliant stay!

Great location, very friendly staff and rooms had everything you would need.

stayed in the winter, but the building temperature was very warm. Granted, hardly a negative but a little too warm in the apartments for our liking.

nice place. but most likely prefer to pay more and get something better.

The room is big and have a small kitchen with everything you need. it’s a some kind of privately owned place. with one guy who do it all. he was very nice and welcoming.

The shower had some issues, low water pressure and VERY medium heat. I raised my concerns to the owner but there was nothing he could do. it was not fun or pleasant to take a shower. which kind of ruined the stay. especially when it’s cold outside and you just want a hot shower. no elevator if you stay in higher floors.

A great experience for my first time in New York

The hotel was in a quite area yet only 10 minute's walk to Time Square and the subway.

Entrance was filthy, the room was not clean, the bathroom was filthy, the gap between the shower and the sink was disgusting with tooth paste tube and tooth brush left there and the door bar into the bathroom was a disgrace, the wallpaper was hanging off in place’s, the quilt cover was ripped and stained, one bedside light shade was missing, one reading light wasn’t working, no kettle or tea, coffee, milk or sugar, the cooker nods came away in your hand We have more photos of our complaints if required. If this is the standard of accommodation you are advertising I will not be using or recommending Booking.com again.

The location is good

Not clean , smell not good at bathroom. The fridge made noise all the day and night, and it's 1 meter from the bed, so were difficult to sleep.

Bathroom was big

The Bed was low kitchen counter was high don't give you cleaning service daily you have to do-it-yourself And we had no TV for 2 days and had to be changed to another room.

location to main attractions.

Staff attitude was rude and dismissive.Basic items missing such as a room for 4 people only had 2 cups not enough cutlery and no ice tray. Fridge was working but needed replacing as rusting and the kitchen unit was dilapidated and looked tired. Expected to use an old sponge to wash pots when asked for a new one was told she did not have one and she would clean it. Told her not to bother as I will buy a new one which I did at a cost of just a few cents. As our stay was for 7 days also asked for a cleaning spray which was never supplied so after few days we bought our own. Also 3 hangers supplied for a room for 4 people. Basic stuff which is expected and guest should not have to chase round for it.

great location, in hells kitchen, walking distance from time square. Rooms were comfortable and the airco worked well.

the uglyest hotel ever. uncomfortable, dirty, bad attention and liar communications

nothing.

everything. the attention was very bad, it hasn’t any commodity at the kitchen, a strong smell of clean products that’s make headache, no room service, only one chair for the room so one have to eat at bed or at the floor. A very bad experience for the price
