Exceptional

The staff is very friendly and very warm, quality-price ok, breakfast included, it met my expectations, I would book again, in the heart of san jose, close to everything, many places of interest, restaurants, bars and others

Great location and customer service - noisy

Tina at the front desk was awesome. Very welcoming and friendly. Bed was super comfortable. Spacious room and huge bathroom. Wifi worked without any issues. Well located close to bars at San Jose social. Lots of food options.

Noise, can hear everything especially in busy nights. Aircon didn’t really work.

Disappointing

Staff was very nice. Location was good.

Somewhat disappointing. Towels were very rough. Linens had a slight bleach smell. Shampoos and conditioners were mismatched. TV was crooked and could not be straightened. Security was good but the method to leave the hotel was wonky. Room was tiny.

Overpriced by dramatically and not a boutique hotel

Breakfast was ho hos, microwaveable breakfast burritos, wrapped snack cakes, tiny cups of coffee. We were told the parking was free, then when checking out were told it would be taken off the hundred dollar hold on my credit card. Room was very tiny and extremely dark. We had asked to be put in a quiet room though. Didn’t use rooms in the front, so can’t speak on those. Staff was friendly and kind, but took every opportunity to make more money on very overpriced accommodations (snacks available for $1 to $4 in a basket provided, no way of telling how much I’ll be charged as snacks weren’t refilled the second night, there was no business center at all but they said they would print something for me but then it went up to ten cents a copy, etc.)

Liked the bleachy smelling sheets!

great location if you want to be close to downtown. well stocked room with candy,chips,drinks and pastries all at a reasonable price

it was next to a night club that blasted the music until 2:00 AM. Had to pay for parking.

Although this is a semi-nice hotel, the noisy rattling windows stops me from ever wanting to return.

The room and staff were nice. Sleeping on the bed was like being on a cloud. I never feel that way in hotels. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere. There are lots of great restaurants down the street and City Hall is fun to take pictures of.

Wifi never worked for us and the noise level was awful. We could not sleep it was so loud. The noise from the street and cars, rattled the windows so badly we thought they were going to shatter (we were on the 4th floor). I even took video. It was like living through small earthquakes every 5 to 10 minutes until 3:30 in the morning. Would never stay here again for that reason alone.

Superb

Location is good and convenient. Excellent service from Reception center. Enough room space and comfortable bed.

Breakfast no change and Wifi will disconnect after 20 minutes around

Stay could have been much better

Location was good but the surroundings were very loud and late hour festivities and traffic were bothersome...and the facility is old and not very well insulated for the outside noise...

Language communication with staff was a problem...charged for parking without prior notice to costs...had to call to be sent copy of my final billing...front office closed at exact check out times...

The accommodations were excellent! Breakfast was awesome. The rooms were immaculate and very clean and quiet.

The location is not family friendly and the picture is deceiving. The building across the street is boarded up and there were several homeless people occupying the entry. This information was not made available when we booked our stay.

Good

Very comfortable bed. Hot-tub.

the light in the shower turned of automatically after a few minutes so it happened many times to me while I was there and it was annoying. The safe in my room didn’t work and the hot-tub as well. But they transferred me to another room the day after.. (because they couldn’t fix the safe). The streets there are scary to walk alone (as in all San Jose)

Old building, served its purpose

location is great for downtown

booked with “free parking” noted in the description; they tried to charge an extra $30 to park in their lot — manager ultimately agreed to honor the “free parking,” but then car ends up locked into their lot overnight (no in-our). VERY run down, though they keep it clean.
