Lovely clean and comfortable room and very quiet at night . Gorgeous country location - very peaceful and quiet and good for walking . Pauline was a lovely host and was on hand for anything we needed. We both had the continental breakfast which was just right for us . I’d stay here again if we were in the area. We ate at the Hideout Pub in Kilkenny ( Pauline’s recommendation ) Staff were lovely and food delicious .

location and Pauline was very friendly
room was more suited to guys roughing it. En-suite was more like a broom cupboard, no handle on door and you could only have bathroom light on with bedroom. Toiletries were not as on bottle and very watered down. Not sure if sheets were clean on bed as they appeared grubby and very bobbly. Only window was a skylight that couldn’t be opened if it rained. Room very stuffy and no ventilation or window in tiny bathroom. Coffee was stuck at the bottom of the jar but we were given more when asked. Had my husband not been with me I would not have stopped as a girl on her own or even with my daughter 🥲

A very nice continental breakfast is included with your accommodation. A lovely country view from the balcony, including sheep.

All was good, price is on the high side but that is probably just the economic environment.

The warm and cozy atmosphere of a home definitely contributed to our stay, the beds were very comfortable including the couches in the living room, next to a gorgeous warm fireplace. Waking up to a view of the valley and even some animals reminded me of my grandparents home, I loved it !

Very friendly hostess. We enjoyed our stay in this very quite location in the middle of nature: sheep, foxes, rabitts meet one on the driveway. We loved it. Highly recommended and very fair prices. Thank you!

Owner was fantastic, she went out of her way to help us, really friendly.
The location was great.
Breakfast was super.
The bathroom was very small and there wasn’t a separate switch for the bathroom light, so the main bedroom light had to be on when someone used the bathroom!

Quiet location within easy reach of the town by car. Friendly, helpful owners. Good variety of food for breakfast.
