Our stay at the hotel was the worst experience I've ever had. Everything went downhill from the moment we were handed the key. The lift we got into was terrifying .. not only claustrophobic, but it also made sudden, jarring stops at each floor, causing us to physically shake and making an alarming amount of noise. We weren't the only ones to notice this; another couple staying at the hotel shared the same concern.
The worst was yet to come. After a long train trip, we were looking forward to a clean and hygienic room. However, to our shock and horror, there were not one, but twenty flies inside the room, perched on the balcony glass, curtains, and even the ceiling. We immediately ran to the reception to report the issue. The receptionist seemed surprised but didn't consider it a big deal, although she did promise to send someone to help. The help arrived and vacuumed the flies away, but that was the extent of their effort.
Hoping things would improve, we decided to make the most of our day. My friend went for a shower, only to find that water flooded the room. I rushed to inform the receptionist, meanwhile we also saw that the insects had returned. The receptionist was not accepting the fact that insects could appear again and when called her earlier she cut the call on me while I am telling her about the issue again being unhelpful and dismissing our issues as isolated incidents. She was not only rude but also disrespectful, even decided to take a call while I was speaking to her. It was by far one of the most frustrating and disrespectful experiences I have ever encountered. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, save yourselves from a bad bad situation since we clearly could not.

I really liked the breakfast, location, cleanliness, comfortable bed, and the size of the room.
Shower - door was broken and it would have been good to have a shampoo and conditioner, not just shower gel.

The location was great, the room was big and spacious.
The room could be a bit cleaner, specially the bathroom. I was afraid to take the elevator because he look to old. The heating was not functional, was very cold in the room, a litle bit windy near the windows.

The location is very central and within walking distance of Kudamm. The breakfast is excellent!
Half the lights in my room did not work. The rugs in the hallways need a good clean, and the hotel overall maybe a face-lift.

A hotel with character. Cosy, comfortable room. Small bathroom, but a good shower.

In a nice area close to most things a tourist might want to see.
The building has an old fashioned lift but late at night it was difficult to find the time switches on the wall to walk safely. I had to use my phone torchlight.
The breakfast selection varied every day but the staff were very much glum and seemed to resent the guests getting into their way of tidying up. Despite my efforts, barely a smile was raised upon greeting them Good morning.

Staff very nice, clean and comfortable. Very quiet as well!
Not the cheapest, but still fair value.
3.0
The staff is super nice and friendly, location is great and very convenient, high ceilings, bath cosmetics were nice too.
Old, run-down hotel, no AC, tiny shower, screechy floors, blankets are small, wifi is not good for video calls.
