Great choice for an interesting city

We have chosen that hotel🏨 having read a few very positive reviews & are happy to join the chorus with our praises! Hotel is very well situated, walking distance to major sites, while calm & comfortable! Management takes good care of guests providing free airport transfers (great plus) as well as transfers to some of the sites subject to airport transfer schedule (we were lucky and used it twice)

Some more hangers for clothes in the room would be nice

Nice staff, clean hotel, great taxi service

The room was spacious and clean and had all necessary amenities, even an iron. The staff was incredible, especially the driver Boy and the receptionists. I especially loved their taxi service, which drops you off where you want.

Great value for money and convenient shuttle service

Good value for money for the price. Free airport shuttle was very handy, but the added bonus was they will also take you around the highlights of the city free of charge as well. The driver, Boy, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about what he was showing us, can't praise him enough!

Western breakfast options could have been better.

Good Value

Like everyone else, I'm a big fan of the free shuttle service. They'll pick you up at the airport and drop you off when you leave. And they'll take you to tourist attractions in the city if you schedule in advance. All free. The location is also pretty good. Within walking distance of the downtown area. Breakfast is decent.

The hotel is obviously pretty old. The rooms are very well-cared for and clean, but noticeably old.

性价比非常好的酒店，员工尤其热情、友好，机场班车和每天的景点接送服务的确帮我们省掉了很多的费用。位置非常好，不行可以抵达周边的景点，尤其是可爱的员工Boy，带给我们特别多的快乐！

性价比超高的文莱酒店，你可以信赖

拜访文莱的不二之选！他们的机场接送服务真的太方便了，同时还能预约时间送到其他稍远距离的景点，省了好多打车的钱呢。工作人员每一个都很客气，让人感觉得到了尊敬。酒店位置也很不错，10分钟步行即可到达文莱河边，可以说是斯里巴加湾常去景点的集合地。早餐也是不错的，工作人员还特别帮我加热了牛奶。

房间稍微有点老旧了，另外卧室面积居然和卫生间一样大，这很浪费居住空间。双床间内有一个床正对着空调出风口，因此我整晚都盖紧了辈子避免着凉。房间稍微有点味道（我判断是窗帘被日光照射后散发出来的），开窗通风一阵子就好了。当然，以上问题都不算太麻烦啦，可以克服的。

Enjoyed my stay, would definitely come back!

The free shuttle from the airport and to surrounding areas of tourist interest make the Capital Residence very worthwhile to stay. Brunei is spread out and difficult to get around as it is very car oriented. The downtown area is an easy 10 minute walk. The hotel is definitely not luxurious but staying here is going to make your overall experience in Brunei a lot more enjoyable. All of the staff were very helpful and dependable. I also liked the fact that I met other international travelers staying at the Capital Residence.

The location is too isolated from nearby shops.

There are very limited choices for breakfast. No scramble eggs and omelette. Coffee is so diluted.

The staff at breakfast restaurant should ask the guess what they want besides the few dishes available.

I don't recommend this hotel for sure. I suggest exploring others.

Location was ok , pick up & drop to Airport .

They charged me 93 $ extra, giving some stupid reason saying there was a spillover of Ink on bed Quilt, but this was something which was from Housekeeping itself, because when i left the room, everything was ok, intelligently housekeeping put the blame on me. In my 15 years of travel i never had such a situation while hotel had to blame i spilled over some ink on the Quilt. i just got a feeling that they were recovering now the losses they had during COVID.

i love my stay! the staffs were amazing and friendly, breakfast was delicious and overall i am super satisfied!

Great spot, parking was ample and secure, elevator works and spacious, walking distance around the property was best and wheelchair friendly.

it was too quite during night time (not too scary as they were ample lamps and all… maybe it was just me) hehehhe oh! i dont know where to put my weekend bag. it wud have been nice if you could provide something lika small table. but everything i assure you to my top likings

We had a relaxing stay and the staff is helpful. The location is good to go to the food street and restaurants and is quiet as well.

Absolutely perfect!! Recommend!!

Everything was great there! The staffs were super super nice and helpful! My sister and I really enjoyed the time there. Special thanks to the driver Arif and the staff Stanley and the girl from front desk (probably the boss) and also other staffs (we didnt know their names lol) Anyway, all the staffs there were super friendly and easy to communicate with. They helped us a lot!! We were really grateful 🥹 The room was clean. The housekeepers did very great jobs. The location is good. The hotel also offered shuttle bus so it was easy for us to visit the spots. We were trying to take ferries to kota kinabalu but we were not sure about the schedule. Arif, Stanley, the front desk and some other staffs tried their best to help us and we finally got into the ferry. We already miss this hotel and the staffs there!!! We hope that we will come back and visit this hotel.

Enjoyable!

Quite friendly staff, the rooms had everything what you need and were quite clean, breakfast was Ok, we really enjoyed the free shuttle

A bit inflexible with their shuttle, even though they didn’t have many guests, sometimes our request was declined. it is generally hard to get around in Brunei.

Superb

Great breakfast, central location, beds were comfy about 8 level firmness. The staff could not have been more helpful! Best service we have ever had. Hotel is dated but perfect for the price.
