A very nice appartment in a beautyful part of the city. One can easily walk to the city center in about 10-15 minutes. We would book this again If coming back to Edinburgh.

A lovely, clean, well-decorated flat in a charming area, away from the hustle and bustle of main Edinburgh. Be prepared to walk a lot, but everything in the city is very accessible, and we especially enjoyed Stockbridge.

Lovely clean flat perfect for a stay visiting friends and family and taking in the Fringe. Very well equipped kitchen plus lots of nice touches all round the flat making it feel more like a home than a rental. Took a few goes to get the lock box open, but minor issue. Instructions for checking in and finding free parking were perfect. One thing to be aware of regarding the location - be ready for lots of tourists outside at all hours!

What a wonderful apartment in a trendy spot. I can’t imagine a nicer place to stay in Edinburgh, roomy, well appointed, convenient and walkable to the heart of the action, and a great host. Susan repeatedly helped answer questions, made a few accommodations for us and has created a gem in Dean Village, highly recommended, I hope we can return!

The two-bedroom apartment in Edinburgh's Dean Village was perfect for our family of three. The location was fantastic - peaceful yet close to the city center. We enjoyed easy access to restaurants, shops, and historical attractions. The apartment itself was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

We stayed in this spot for 3 days while we visited Edinburgh. It was the perfect location for us! It is about a 10 minute walk to the castle / city center and is located in beautiful and magical Dean, allowing us to hear the river with the windows open at night. The unit was very clean, fully equipped with everything that we needed to cook our meals and enjoy quiet evenings!

beautifully decorated, very comfortable. Just a few hundred feet from the village center - all pedestrian. Bedrooms and bath are upstairs, but they’re very negotiable. We’ve had some really hard stairs at other accommodations, so we were thrilled with this cottage.,

Spent 3 nights at the Dean Village apartment. Lovely. Very clean and well equipped. Located in a scenic area slightly away from New Town. We did not have a car but had no issue finding taxis for quick rides back. While Dean Village does not have shops and restaurants, this apartment is an excellent jumping off point for a day in the city. The thick walls and nice windows kept any outside noise away. Loved it.

Lovely flat in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We especially enjoyed the walks along the Water of Leith to the Modern 2 museum and Stockbridge. New Town is also an easy walk away. Old Town is farther but still walkable, and we loved returning to Dean Village in the evenings. There's a coffee cart with coffee, tea, and cocoa right outside the door, perfect for starting and ending the day. Susan was friendly and responsive, and we appreciated the thoughtful, welcoming touches and the flexible check-in time.

We really enjoyed our stay in Susan’s flat. It was the perfect central location, we could easily walk to everything, yet the flat itself was in a quieter part of town away from the hustle and bustle. It was a very serene location right on the river and we loved the garden. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have slept on, really soft sheets. Susan even left a basket of goodies for us, and had converters for the outlets if needed. She was very responsive and helped me out of a pickle that I got myself into with the booking. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to visit Scotland again in the future.

The flat was perfect for me, my husband and our 23 y/o daughter on a recent visit to Scotland. The unit and Edinburgh did not disappoint. 2 different contacts we had that recently visited Edinburgh were jealous that we stayed in Dean's Village. A beautiful setting away from all the activity of Old/New Town, but close walking distance to enjoy it all. You will want to stay here and wish we had more days to enjoy. Susan was a gem with communication and we had no problems with check in/check out. Minor problem with hot water pressure towards the end of our stay, but we managed around it.

The apartment in Dean Village was amazing. Everything was laid out very well from the checkin/checkout procedures, to instructions on how to use all of the appliances, the complimentary goodie bag of snacks, the floor plan, a lift/elevator, the internet speed. Everything was top notch!!

Beautiful, clean and well equipped flat in the gorgeous Dean Village, just as described and close walk to Princes Street. Great welcome gift bag which was a lovely touch. Excellent communication with Susan (host) who was very helpful. Would love to stay here again when we return to Edinburgh.

What a gem! Fabulously appointed apartment, absolutely everything you might need. Lovely welcome gifts of snacks , wine and shortbread. The location of the apartment is perfect- literally takes just over 5 minutes to be on Princes Street. Dean village itself is beautiful- like a little oasis in the city. We enjoyed the amazing Hogmanay celebrations at the concert in the gardens, which I will remember always. Communication with Susan was spot on, and check in was super easy. Definitely will return, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Apartment was exactly as pictured! Great location in quiet & safe location. Very well stocked kitchen. Easy to enter after hours; great communication with owner upon arrival. Definitely stay here again when we return to Edinburgh!

I can't speak highly enough of Susan and this rental! The flat was cozy, clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we might have needed during our trip. Our host Susan was very helpful and communicative. It's also a beautiful location in Dean Village which was very accessible either via walking or transit to everywhere we needed. The perfect rental for a small group, especially if you're in the city for a week or longer!

This was a very clean, comfortable flat in a quiet neighborhood. We were able to walk to most anyplace we wanted go. The walk in the park along the river Leith was delightful. Would recommend highly.

dean village was a very nice part of Edinburgh. we would defiantly stay there again. We are no old to walk the distance to the old town. we ended up taking cabs but were delighted to see how prompt and incredibly reasonable they were. absolutely delighted with our stay. Sincerely, Joan

Great sound proofing, couldn’t hear any neighbours, beds were comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen but looked like everything you would need was there. Great place for pictures and nice trail walks, not too far from downtown. Parking was a bit stressful, we managed to find a spot each night but definitely was a concern. Overall beautiful place, accurate listing and would highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed staying at Susan’s flat. It was in a beautiful part of Edinburgh. About a 20-25 minute walk to the centre. Lovely flat. Comfy beds. Decent size kitchen with all required utensils and pots/pans. Would highly recommend.
