Amazing place, I loved it ! Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. The rooms are beautiful, large and very clean. The hotel is in the middle of the nature so it is very green and quiet and the view is very nice. The owner is a gem, his family paid him a visit and he included me as a member of the family. He invited me to have lunch and dinner with them, they were so nice with me. He also speaks many languages. The staff in general is amazing there, like a family. I discovered new activities like hash house harriers and pickle ball. There is also a tennis court and a swimming pool. The breakfast was also delicious. Thank you so much for everything Jim, it was nice to meet you and have interesting conversations !

The location of the Country House in the valley was beautiful. Loved the wildlife and gardens. Jim and his wonderful staff made us so welcome, we felt like old friends. Joined with a local group for a hike which was great fun. Also learned how to play pickle ball on the court in the grounds.
The room and covered outdoor seating area were lovely with views of the garden and valley.
Thank you so much for making this a truly remarkable experience

It's the perfect getaway if you're looking for peace and quiet surrounded by nature and the cool breeze from the mountains in the morning. The suite is really spacious, has a living room, inner toilet but with an outdoor shower. The breakfast has very good fresh bread and excellent coffee served with fresh fruits and juice.
None.

Nous avons adoré le lieu en lui-même, la gentillesse du staff et de Jim, le calme et sérénité de l' endroit, les petits dej simples mais goûteux, le réveil avec les singes dans les arbres 🥰💖🪷

The Country House is a hidden gem. The property is located at the base of a national park set in a lush rain Forrest environment. I've been catching morning sun by the pool, listening to the abundance of bird life, and looking up through the trees to the mountain tops on either side of the valley. No traffic noise. No hawkers. Just great energy. The place is owned and managed by Jim, a retired American that has lived and worked in Indonesia for many years. He and his staff are only too happy to help steer you in the right direction for things to do and places to eat. Yesterday we joined Jim for the local Hash House Harriers event, where we tracked through the Forrest following a trail of shredded paper. We had a blast and it was a great way to meet the locals and see village life. The rooms and amenities at the Country House are all well maintained , clean, practical and functional. The grounds include a tennis court, pool and areas of garden and lawn, which is perfect for family travellers with kids or active couples. Getting to and from restaurants is about a 3 minute drive. We have been using the local uber app called "Grab" to get around , and the fare to the restaurants is Rp37'000 (~$3). Alternatively, the staff can help you order from local restaurants and have the food delivered.

The style of how the resort is built, the location is amazing deep inside a valley at the end of the road.Beautifull surrounding nature and got to see black monkeys and gray monkeys and lots of birds to wake up to.

Wow!!! I did not expect this when booking. This beautiful country house is gorgeous. Perfectly manicured gardens, beautiful views of the mountains, walking distance to monkeys.
My kids loved playing tennis and pickle ball. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were so kind.
The rooms were clean and I loved the outside bathroom. It felt good to have a few days away from the traffic and be surrounded by nature.

The Country House is in a beautiful location that is restful and pleasant. I was very pleased with the many small touches that I found, such as good lighting, mirrors, an umbrella, and many more that I can't think of now. The staff, including the owner, were delightful to interact with. The breakfast was simple and tasty, with great coffee. I was in the area primarily to see birds, and as others noted, Rinjani Scops-owls are easy to hear on the property, and the national park and adjacent creek have lots of birds very nearby.
It was quite hot when I was there and the air conditioner was a bit stressed, but managed.

Best accommodation we visited during our holidays in Lombok and Bali.
We planned to stay for 3 days, but since we liked it so much it turned out to be one week.
We were not only welcomed very warm but also felt like we were part of the little family of the country house.
Usually in the morning you could play tennis with the staff and sometimes guests use the court to play pickle ball (which is nice if you are not really good at playing tennis). Apart from that there are frequent hiking tours with the “hash house harriers” on Mondays and Fridays which we could join.
For all other activities Janto (who managed the accommodation during our stay) was happy to help and even escorted us to some beautiful waterfalls which was 1 1/5 hours drive by scooter. He also introduced us to the plants and “wildlife” of the country house, explained us many things about Indonesian culture and was very helpful in general.
The rooms are super clean and have multiple windows which gives them a lot of natural light. Being surrounded by the jungle gave us the perfect escape from all the noise and busy streets. The pool is very clean and refreshing.
Thank you to all of you (Janto, Supar, Dani, Neo and all the others..) for providing us such a beautiful stay. We won’t forget & try to come along again!! :)
Terima kasih banyak!

Everything, felt like a true niche to enjoy the sound of silence with the beauty of natural rhymes
Nothing, leaving was the only disheartening moment.

Where to start? Monkeys and aesthetics. Lovingly built accomodation with attention to every detail. Gorgeous grounds. Swimming in pool under moon and stars. Outside shower. National park literally on door step. Great looking tennis court. Welcome - made to feel like it was our home too. Tokay lizards. Call to prayer across the valley. Forest and hills. Generous and fresh breakfast. Free bottled water but also free access to filtered water. Tea and coffee facilities in room. An owner who cares deeply about the sustainability of the employment of his employees and who is an all round good person and excellent company. Everything really.
Leaving. No lunch or dinner at the moment but no problem nipping to Sengiggi where there's a choice of lovely food venues.

The location of the place and the house is just beautiful. The owner is very nice, great conversation partner, staff guys are super helpful and adorable too. The forest starts literally in the backyard of the property, so private access to the hill. Beach is accessible by motorbike or you can ask a lift from the property, they will help you in anything.
Since the house is owned by an American medic, do not expect traditional atmosphere, rather colonial style. It is not negative or positive but maybe useful info.
