Ludlow Manor offers so much for all ages. Set in gorgeous countryside it is the perfect place to recharge your batteries and have lots of fun.
Emma was so helpful with any questions or queries. The house was so clean and tidy when we arrived. There is ample storage for your food, an extra fridge, which is always helpful if you are a large number of people staying.
The golf course provided endless hours of fun (and frustration). So many other activities are provided on site that no one can ever say they are bored !
A wonderful stay was had by all, would highly recommend Ludlow Manor House.

There were 11 of us (should have been 12 but one had COVID!) aged from 4 - 69. We loved everything about the house - rooms, comfort, quality of bathrooms and bedrooms, amount of equipment etc. But the grounds were even better! We played golf, tennis, table tennis football and cricket… Fabulous grounds and garden with a gorgeous Wendy house and great play equipment.

Beautiful house. This is such a great venue for both kids and adults. Short drive to Ludlow and plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. We’ll definitely be back!

The house is located in a quiet and secluded area and is impressive as you approach from the drive. The games room is helpful and reasonably well appointed although showing signs of being "well used" Whilst providing reasonable value for money, typically the kitchen could do with updating and providing a more comprehensive range of cooking utensils. Providing one (average quality) bath towel and one hand towel (plus bed linen) at (an additional) £10 each person seems somewhat odd given how many people take bed linen and towels? Whilst there is one log fire which can be used in the dining area it is a missed opportunity not to have the same in either the lounge or sitting room. Outside the childrens play area is adequate but also showing signs of being well used and in need of some additional TLC.

The property is very spacious, well equipped and well maintained. It was suited for our party all being together and for separating out to do different things. The grounds are lovely - for children and adults and the golf course an added bonus. All of us felt it was the best property we had ever stayed in.

We have a wonderful weekend stay at the property. The house fitted all 12 of us in with ease. The huge garden is delightful and the trampoline, play equipment and golf course kept the children amused for hours. When not outside, the kids and adults alike enjoyed the activities in the games room including pool and air hockey.
The property is clean and well appointed.
The only thing to watch out for is that if you want bedding and towels provided that is an additional cost (£10 per person) so needs to be accounted for when comparing prices of similar properties.
We enjoyed visiting Ludlow Castle and the cafe/restaurant by the river is great.

An amazing long weekend with something for everyone at this beautiful house. A charming welcome from Emma set the tone for a perfect family gathering. The gardens and house are a delight.

The Manor House is the ideal place to escape to. It is an exceptionally well equipped and presented large house that is, at the same time, very comfortable and impeccably clean. The rooms are large and well furnished, lovely linen on the beds and beautiful bathrooms.
And then there are the gardens which are equally well maintained. The golfers in the family kept disappearing to play the 6 hole golf course and as its literally on the doorstep, the rest of us never felt abandoned by them as they weren't gone for too long. The play area, trampoline, and wendy house were a real hit with the grandchildren, so again there is absolutely no need to leave the property to keep them entertained.
And last but most importantly the housekeeper Emma and her husband are gems, and nothing was too much trouble.
Seriously how often are better than it says on the tin: well the Manor House is.
Thank you for everything.

Communication with the owner Jo and on site manager, Emma, couldn’t have been bettered. The house is, perhaps, even better in reality. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked so cooking for nine adults was not a trial. The grounds are magnificent, adults enjoying the golf and table tennis while our toddler had such fun in the playhouse and playground. An added bonus were some inquisitive chickens. Plenty of space indoors when the weather turns, the games room was rarely empty. We would highly recommend this rental.

Really enjoyed our Christmas week in this wonderful house. It is very spacious and fully enjoyed by all four generations within our group catering for every age. The grounds are truly wonderful with the difficult golf course a joy. The play area was particularly enjoyed by the youngest of our party; an inquisitive 3-year old! Thoroughly recommend this house for an enjoyable staycation.

A fantastic house. It was a brilliant size and layout for our group of 6 adults and three children. Everyone loved the games room, and the garden was really great. We were only there for a weekend but will definitely look to return for a longer stay.

Stayed here during a heat wave for a family get together, aged 17-80. We made full use of the BBQ and also the many outdoor games there were to use.
The house and the grounds are stunning. The house is very spacious and clean and also refreshing cool in the heatwave. There is also lots to do inside should the weather not be so kind. There is something for everyone regardless of age.
The beds very comfy.
The housekeeper even filled some ice cube trays for our arrival.
Would definitely recommend The Manor House amd look forward to returning

We rented this property to celebrate our Golden Wedding. It was ideal as it could house all of us in comfort. High quality venue with lots to do even in winter. The small ones enjoyed the playground and the hens. We enjoyed the golf course.

What a place! It is straight out of a fairy tale, very comfortable bedrooms, so much space for everyone to gather together or enjoy a moment of peace inside or out of doors. Very well equipped yet enough storage for own bits and bobs, immaculately clean and tidy, all thanks to Emma, the housekeeper. She's got the knack of being right there when needed but never intruding though she lives right next door.
We loved the house but were really blown away by the grounds. Outdoor games are available at such a variety that we rarely left the gardens though the surroundings are well worth exploring, too. Ludlow is very charming and the castle is fun, walking in the Shropshire hills a delight.
Overall a perfect holiday for nine, kids and adults alike. I can see twelve people fitting just as easily.
Thank you for letting us be Lords and Ladies for a few days!

We'd stayed in the manor house a few years ago, so when we decided to gather the family together for a 60th birthday celebration week-end, we didn't hesitate about where to stay. And, just as before, we weren't disappointed. A wonderfully spacious house, very well equipped (many thanks to Emma for ensuring sufficient champagne flutes!), surrounded by beautiful gardens with fun play equipment. We just wished we'd booked for a longer stay!
