We were 6 adults and 6 kids staying for 8 nights. The house was really clean, plenty of space for everyone. Two living rooms with couches and TV. Large eat in kitchen with all amenities and well equipped.Beds were really comfortable. The garden was amazing, really nice large patio area with tables which we used for eating and then a huge grassy area for the kids to play. The holiday was well enjoyed by all. Nice little village and things to do locally in the camping grounds like canoeing, crazy golf etc. Would highly recommend in all respects. Only complaint

We really enjoyed our stay house was great size for our family. Only thing wrong was showers! You couldn’t have two people have a shower at same time as water either went cold or stopped. Other than that very good.

Friendly owners who were easy to contact and who provided welcome package of treats with a home made cake. Plenty of room for large extended family and areas for communal as well as quiet time. Three bathrooms provides good service for a large group. The house is quite close to the A40, which in winter is not such a problem, but is a source of noise. The area is beautiful and great access to the Wye valley. Enjoyed the Potting Shed for dinner and the friendly local shop with cafe. Recommend as a family escape.

Good property that catered for all of our needs. Plenty of space for everyone and decent sized bedrooms with the exception of the middle loft room (no hanging storage) each room had adequate storage. The kitchen was slightly outdated but had all the plenty of cockery. The location lets the property down as you are very near the busy A40, you can hear the constant noise of the traffic. On the up side you have easy access to the many activities within the vicinity.

We arrived a little early. Marianne was just finishing preparing the house for us. She made us so welcome and invited us to come in. Carl arrived shortly after with a welcome basket of food for us, so generous! The house was very clean with lots of space inside. We used the patio area on our fort and last nights to enjoy some nibbles and a drink or two. Everyone had a wonderful time. I can’t recommend the property enough. Location is brilliant for walks the river Wye, pubs, restaurants and local sightseeing. Saturday evening we went to the restaurant up the road (The Potting Shed) fabulous food and fabulous hosts. Great setting! Thank you so much Gary and Marianne for being so thoughtful, we hope to come back again for our next celebration.
