This was an exceptional experience. Hastings and Solomon was very professional and helpful and make our stay an absolute pleasure . The breakfast was an extra bonus.

we didn't have a breakfast , we running late for an appointment but the host was insisting unfortunately we couldn't. though they had set up cereals for breakfast could have been nice if there was juice and fruits too.
it was really a great tranquil space, due to rain we couldn't do swimming and walk around but it was a great quiet relaxing day, the host Solomon made it more pleasant with his humbleness and kindness, that man is a keeper may a best host.
6.0
If it was not for Solomon's service and constant care as well as the good breakfast the rating would have been worse. The bonfire experience.
The utensils in the unit were either lacking or broken but if you wanted something go and ask Solomon. We walked a route which took us to a dilapidated look out point but the view was worth it.

They pure beauty of it and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived.

The quietness, seeing animals roaming around as said by the venue. As we went in winter, being cared for with heater.
Not much provision for low-carb eaters. The whole fridge was a freezer in the chalet we were in.

We liked the room and the facilities. The staff were friendly and the breakfast delicious.
Sometimes one had to wait a while for the gate to be opened.

Solomon was so excellent, from the day with arrived until the last day.
The gravel road going inside, the wrong number on the board from the gate to enter was not working.

I Loved the Peace and Tranquility.
The room was lovely, spacious and clean. Awesome shower. Breakfast was great. I loved the bonfire every night and they prepared the fire for your braai. The best part was the absolutely wonderful service from the staff especially Solomon and Hastings, they are warm, polite, respectful and welcoming.
Would highly recommend...

It was east cause I got my keys from the manager, but what was not good was the gate entrance, as one did not know which number to call, and also mission and stayed long by the gate before we could enter the premises.
The gate entry process must be sorted out.
The cleaners must do their work with passion and do what needs to be done correctly

I booked 2 cabins for my family. When we arrived there was no bedding on the beds. There was no power and the generators does not support the cabins. We had no power from the time we arrived 2pm till 9pm the evening. because of this the water was ice cold and we could not bath neither shower. The cabin I, slept was not cleaned. we found dirty underwear under the bed and dust so thick. the worst of the stay , knowing that is was over new year there would be some noise due to parties but unbeknown to us the resort always outside visitors. they double booked parties of 30 people who partied till 2am in the morning in front of the chalets we occupied. this started from the 30th we checked in until the 2nd we checked out. we complained to the management of the noise and the swearing happening but they just apologised and said they double booked and could not control the crowds. when I booked this place months prior I imagined it would be peaceful with a moderate n
amount of noise New Year’s Eve, but this was so bad. I wasted all the Money spent and did not enjoy my new year with my family. they must advice guests that they allow day visitors and it is not a private resort. this was the worst place I have ever been too and will not recommend this resort to anyone else.

I really enjoyed being surrounded by trees and the staying in thatched roofed chalets. During our stay it rained turning our stay into a tranquil paradise as we listened to the rain hit our roof. The hospitality we received was unbelievably welcoming, the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly.
Unfortunately a group checked in for New Years and was extremely loud despite being told by the lodge manager to keep it down. However this was handled and resolved.
