breakfast was fine but made much better by Julie the staff representative at the time.
There was a very noisy room occupant next door which highlighted how the noise travelled.

Really friendly from start to finish. Property with real character. Nice Indian restaurant on the doorstep. Nothing more this travelling man needs.

The location & setting was lovely, the breakfast was well presented & very tasty. The hosts Paul & Mandy were very friendly & attentive. The Rani Indian restaurant nearby was very good too xx

Great location and enjoyed the novelty of having breakfast inside the mill. We also enjoyed watching the hares in the field which we could see from our room window.
The en suite shower in the room was cramped. A larger person would have found it very difficult to use.

The property was easy to find, the room was clean with a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, free Wi-Fi. The breakfast was good in a nice room and served by a very friendly lady.
The shower cubicle was small with nowhere to put anything, and a new shower head was needed as a lot of the holes were scaled up

Myself and young daughter stayed as we were going on the Polar Express, it's super close around 6 minutes in the car.
. It was a great stay. The mill looks lovely and for my daughter who is a windmill fan loved it.
The room (7) was nice, comfortable bed, clean and surrounding area quiet. Nice tea and coffee making facilities and a nice sized bathroom and shower.
Breakfast in the mill was lovely. The lady who was cooking it was really friendly. Food was great and alot of choice. The room where yiu have breakfast is really pretty, especially with the Xmas decorations.
Easy check in and out. Paul was contactable on the phone.
Lots of parking and easy to find.
Thank you!

Quaint. Beautiful location, very friendly host. Room was clean, well furnished and bed was comfortable.
Couldn’t figure out how to turn the heated towel rail in the en-suite so the bathroom was cold. The window didn’t have a restrictive on it so couldn’t leave the window open during the night for fresh air. To be fair, I didn’t ask the host but I am sure he would have assisted had I asked.

Breakfast was ok. It filled us up which was the main thing. The staff were brilliant at breakfast. Everything was brought to you quickly and it was nice and hot.
I think it was our fault we thought it was going to be a bit more like a hotel. There was nobody to meet us when we arrived only a text telling us how to find our room. The next day we were out and when we returned we expected our room to be serviced and tea/coffee replenished. We also had run out of toilet paper but nobody had been in so i txt and was told they would deliver it in a while. About 7pm i got another txt to say it was outside our door. Which it was but none of our bins had been emptied etc so it all seemed more like a motel set up. It was very clean however we must say.

Rooms were very spacious and had good storage.
The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful
Some minor things that could have made a big difference to the rooms - for example, the kettle didn't fit under the bathroom tap, so really hard to fill up. The decor was also quite dated.
Our grandparents stayed in a disabled room, which had a wet room, but there wasn't a seat in the shower and there were no rails on the wall between the shower and the door and so my granddad didn't feel confident enough to walk from the shower out of the room and so he didn't shower!
I also thought it was expensive for what it was and where it was, but potentially because it was wedding season!

Nothing, wouldn't stay here again.
The owners need to spend a couple of nights in Room 8. They clearly have taken their eyes off the ball in this place. When we entered the room there was a bad smell of wet dog. Come 8 o'clock in the evening we took a trip to Tesco and purchased some Fabreze and sprayed the whole carpet which got rid of the horrible smell. The bathroom is no bigger than a wardrobe. Any large person couldn't fit into the shower and the hot/cold water tap turns off when you turn around in it. I couldn't pull up my shorts or pants up after sitting on the loo because there is not enough room to do that, had to do that back in the room!!! The toilet seat is fixed across the bowl because that's how past customers have sat on it. The bed has a wooden head board so you can't rest comfortable against it. The bed is uncomfortable, linen is old, pillows just fold in half and have no life in them. The futon sofa bed sagged and smelt of sweaty socks. The window sticks when you try to open it. If you get it open you get all the noise from an Indian restaurant located at the end of the accommodation block, who share the car park at the other end behind the Mill. Thus have people and vehicles going past every night until it closes. That's if you are not disturbed by the RAF doing night flights until god knows what time. Then you have to book breakfast and a time when you want it via text as the owners don't live on site, luck them. Turned up for breakfast which was very good, except the milk which has curdled! (On all the tables). The room itself was dull and dreary and showed no history of the Mill which may have distracted me from writing this message.

The host Paul was very friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with him about the area and the lovely pictures on the walls. Breakfast was excellent, cooked by Sally ( hope I've got her name right) who was lovely and we also enjoyed chatting with her about the Mill, the area her pony and we shared dog stories . We have been to Norfolk countless times and will be back many more times. If we are having a short stay we will definitely book Yaxham Mill again if there's availability.

A good size room in the attached Granary. A good size comfortable bed and an ensuite shower space.
Very helpful and friendly staff and good communication in person and by text.
A good quiet location generally and faces mainly open countryside.
Good breakfast and accommodated our particular needs. A good choice generally. Choice of breakfast location to accommodate different user groups.
The décor is a little dated but renovations are underway. The bottom drawer in the wardrobe didn't work.
Limited plug sockets.
No significant issues and as we had booked this two years ago, pre covid, and had moved the dates of our stay, it was good to finally get to stay at Yaxham Mill.
