If you make any minor stains to the white materials, be sure you are charged from your deposit!!!!

Apartment was spacious with good location!

Although advertised as child-friendly, based on our experience we cannot recommend Villa Lotus Penthouse by IVillamia for families travelling with children. Owing to a few stains that our children accidentally made on the white fabric couches, armchairs and benches in the kitchen, we lost over 500 euros of our deposit!!! :(. Also, due to inquisitive small fingers the numerous decorative items in the apartment will require you placing them out of reach. You may also get wrongfully accused of damaging property, as we were with cabinet pullers that were very poorly attached /glued in place and came off even with a gentle pull. So, be very aware that your deposit may be at risk, your stay might be far from relaxing, and the aftermath may take weeks. Also the host did not accept normal credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) through booking.com. Deposit had to be paid via Paypal and hotel fee through bank transfer. Also apartment does not have an air-conditioning (only fans) so the rooms can be very hot during July-August.

beautiful place, great location

the site that I booked through had my payment on file, yet before arrival I was asked to pay in cash because of the broken credit card machine, which was a little suspicious, but finally the payment was processed with no issues. AFTER my stay I was notified that my reservation will be cancelled if I don’t update the credit card as it was marked invalid.. I have no explanation for that, but the stay was great except for weird payment requests/notifications.

We loved the apartment, sitting on the balcony looking to the sea was wonderful.

The iCasamia rep Tiago contacted me to know when our plane had landed, advised on how to get to Villa Lotus, and there were two people at the apartment waiting for us to show us round and give us the keys.

Villa Lotus is on a very busy street so it is quite noisy. Earplugs are provided though. At the back, south facing, the noise is much less. We actually weren't that bothered by the noise where at home we would be.

Large and convinient apartment in very good location at the center of nice. Its decorated in art novo style and was very clean . The terrace with a view to the sea is very enjoyable.

Beautiful large apartment not for staying in the heat

The apartment is incredibly large and beautifully furnished. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. A special plus is your own garage.

There was some inconveniences in payment process. Make sure to note that this apartment does not have air conditioning. If I had paid attention to this, I would have chosen another place. In hot days it was difficult to stay at home, sleeping at night was just a torment. During the day the house heats up and the apartment is still very hot at night. There is a fan in every room, but they did not provide any relief. We opened all the windows, but there was a busy road under the house and it was very noisy. VERY noisy both day and night. There are earplugs in the rooms. But a small child, open windows and ear plugs are incompatible. I consider environmental care should be moderately reasonable.

An excellent stay, although a bit of a walk into the centre

We stayed in Nice during the heatwave, so the absence of AC was noticeable, although using the shutters during the day and the many supplied fans did help. The apartment is beautiful - high ceilings, lovely parquet floors, period details - very belle epoque! The house is around a 10 minute walk into the port - downhill on the way, but uphill when travelling back with supplies, so it feels a bit further. Uber costs under 10 euro, so probably a good shout if you are shopping and are not driving. The hosts are excellent and the comms via WhatsApp worked really well.

Amazing apartment, very large, beautifully appointed

The apartment is really beautifully appointed and very large, the kitchen is very well equipped and the bathrooms fantastic. The view is wonderful, although there are some building in front of the sea. Tiago was very kind, quick, and provided excellent and outstanding advice and support, overall a very good experience.

The apartment is next to a very busy and very noisy road with no sound protection at all. We expected some noise but not quite this much. This is the only reason why we reduced to 9 out 10 points. This is of course very subjective, but we would not stay at this apartment again, despite being so beautiful. Parking is very (!) tight, you will want to have a small car;-)

Strongly recommended place, highly recommended service

Spectactular huge penthouse with terrace, spectacular view from all living areas and master bedroom, a garage for 2 cars!!!, very central location, first class owner and host. And I mean it, an excellence award is in order for the kind of service you will receive in this place. Access to many fully booked places was made possible only by host who will never hesitate to assist.

Girls thought that internet service was not perfect in all bedrooms, particularly in far end bedroom, I did not notice it was good in all living areas. It should be noted that the building is located at a busy street and it does get noisy around there, which is the only reason why I did not rate this property 10/10.

Lovely apartment , super good staff

Good value for such big and lovely apartment in a good location. Great service. Here I must Mention a staff —Tiago who works for this property. With what’s app contact, he managed for us to booked the restaurants , beach club, information for the corona test... many many small details! Appreciated everything which Tiago have done for us. Absolutely good choice

Simply incredible

Everything about our stay was superb. The apartment is bigger and nicer than you can see in the pictures; every corner is enjoyable -almost museum-like- and adds so much to your stay. We played games, enjoyed the amazing terrace and also used the gym! The staff is simply incredible: always taking care of us, finding amazing places for us to eat, enjoy and discover Nice. I can’t wait to come back! Tip: bring or buy some bath bombs to relax after a beach day!

The penthouse is amazing! There was not one thing I didn’t like. The location was just what we needed, the staff is the nicest, the cleaning is impeccable and the apartment is just plain gorgeous. Can’t wait to go back!

Almost Impossibile to do better!

Comfortable enormous apartment penthouse in a stylish and chic area. Beds very large and comfortable, bathrooms amazing. Perfectly equipped also for very longer stay where one might do more home catering. Close at really walking distance to the harbour district, ideal for visiting old town too, a lots of cafes/restaurants near. Great parking for up to 3 cars.. don’t forget to take a moment opening the bottle of rosé offered by icasamia and enjoying the wonderful sea view of the terrace. And finally thanks geta for the concierge style assistance on reservations during our stay! Before and after our arrival, icasamia private transfers, restaurants, clubbing.. everything seems can be organised by icasamia staff at an high level!!! Ps: free portables hotspots at guests disposal, are a real plus!!!better than a 5 star hotel service.
