Nothing. This place is not fit for human habitation.
Location: down a very narrow road, hard to find.
Smell: bed smelled if urine
Bedding: cartoon character faded bedding not appropriate for adults
Room not what booked: both rooms were supposed to have air conditioning and en-suite, but one of the 2 had neither.
No electricity: within 5 minutes all the electricity was cut off and no idea of it being restored.
I do not think this property should be on booking.com as it really was unfit to stay in

Manager was extremely kind and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure our short stay was successful
This is a no frills place but clean, safe and secure. If you are looking for luxury you will need to look elsewhere and pay accordingly

Great hotel and staff. Mohamed helped us a lot.
We booked for one night. He allowed us to rest and take a shower even in the second day. You can book balloon, felucca and tours from the hotel at a good price.

The staff is great, always available and good for a friendly chat. We especially liked the fact that they didn't try to sell us any extra service, even though they do have plenty available. The private bathroom and the room were clean and we even had a fridge! The breakfast was good and they serve it at any time. There is a small terrace in the entrance perfect to relax. The best is the location. 10 minutes away from the train/bus station and from luxor temple, in the core of the city with street food, small shops and nice people.

What an amazing hostel in the heart of Luxor! Really enjoyed my stay here and want to give a big big shout out to Mohammed, Ali and their preferred tour guide, Aladdin. The staff makes you extremely comfortable and is most helpful with planning out your itinerary in Luxor. My friend I and had 2 tours booked through the hostel (extremely affordable) and were very blessed to be placed with Aladdin as our guide around Luxor and in the Valley of the Kings. He was one of the most knowledgeable and experienced tour guides I have ever come across. He even can read hieroglyphics! When I am back in Luxor (inshallah) I will be staying here again! Thank you guys for the wonderful memories.

The best thing about the property are the people. I loved how helpful they were with everything during my stay. I had booked for one day and still they let me keep my stuff for one whole day as I had bus in the night itself and so booking one more day would be a waste. Also I could take a shower before leaving. Mohammed and Syed are very welcoming and would make your stay very pleasant. A very traditional style hostel where you can also cook your own food if you want! I got coffee like ten times!

Mahamod is a nice man, always ready to help and gives nice info about tour and town. Ballons are the cheapest around.
Solid breakfast.
Friendly and safe environment in overall
Only one plug for 3 beds
No soap in toilets
Other people hanging at the hostel have a pretty obnoxious attitude and give wrong info

It’s a great location to visit louxor, nice place with wonderfull people. There is a rooftop wich is very nice to meet other travellers. But the greatest things about this place is Mohamed who does everything for you to have a great expérience in Luxor. As a women travelling alone i felt very safe and it wouldnt have been the same without this great host.
Thank you again Mohamed for everything that you do !! See you next Time.

great location in luxor, theres rooftop bar you can meet with interesting people, probably if you further travelint to aswan, probably you may meet them again in Aswan (just like i did), receptionist is a super nice guy, you may smoke shisha by just 20 egp, he gave me lots tips traveling in scam free
better if the toilet can provide more paper, and bedding could be more cleaner(it is clean but looks old), anyway the hostel is definately more values than what i paid.

Perfect Location, easy walking distance to GoBus station. The Hostel also owns a Felucca and we soaked in an absolutely magical sail to Banana Island at sunset with kind captain Hussn! Great value for money and really helpful staff, wifi is fast, big delicous breakfast.

It was my childhood dream to visit Egypt. Our first stop was Luxor, Bob Marley Sherief Hostel. My husband arranged a surprise birthday party for me. And Mohamed helped prepare an amazing party for me. During our stay in Luxor, we wanted to visit different places and it was tricky to get there. Mohamed helped us every step of the way, he arranged travel guides, he made us feel at home, was very welcoming. He also arranged a boat tour at sunset. It was the best time of my life. Thank you for everything Mohamed and Bob Marley Family.

Bob Marley House exceeded my expectations on every single level.
Mohamed and his team are incredible always going above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional.
From the food, coffee, trips, comfort of my room and the facilities i couldn't have asked for more.
This unique place is somewhere you arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend.
Thankyou mohamed for organising the horse riding we really appreciate your help and honesty with the prices of trips xxxx
Everything was amazing

Great hostel! Bob Marley Sherief was very nice for a few days. Located close to the Nile and the railway station, it’s down a side street so nice and quiet. Luxor Temple is a 10 minute walk and the public ferry to cross the river to the west bank about 25 minutes. The staff greeted and collected me from the Go Bus drop off point for free, and the welcome was lovely, I was given tea and they warned me about a couple of scams that can happen in the area out on the street which was helpful! The hostel itself is an old Egyptian building so not exactly modern or fancy but it’s very colourful and comfortable (there is a large common area with cushions both in the reception and just outside the main entrance). My single room was actually a three bed dorm which I had all to myself with AC, a ceiling fan and a private bathroom! The free breakfast was cute (small omelette, bread with jam and cheese, banana, and unlimited tea and coffee). The wifi was OK, patchy as in most of Egypt and works best in the reception area. The staff are all very nice, the family who runs the place also live in the building I think. I was offered tea several times and one time Mohamed even shared his falafel with me, very kind!
There aren’t many downsides to this place. The only thing I was disappointed with I will admit is the roof terrace. Obviously in 40 degree summer heat, and with the hostel at low capacity, it’s unlikely to be used much, but it was also in a rough state - dusty and abandoned looking with lots of old, sometimes broken, furniture. Other than that, a terrific stay and I’d recommend to all. Thank you!

I liked the place itself, full of colours and paintings. And especially the company of Mohammed, so benevolent and always at service ! Full of good tricks and good advices. You can really feel he works with his heart, and not just to get money...
To be honnest, the cleaning of the bathrooms wasn't well done. Especially the tube and the shower.

Not really. It is in Egypt. Everything was better than my expectation :)
