The location is wonderful the sun beds very comfy, beds comfy and clean rooms
The food was terrible very poor choice, we should have known for the main restaurant Buffett style for dinner really at this price so poor all we good eat was chicken rice and the potato the salad looked dreadful honestly we could not believe it. The Italian was ok eat in there one night. Breakfast was ok lunch ok we were never offered the afternoon tea, which speaks volumes. The staff were not active in offering drinks, when we did ask the champagne at breakfast did not arrive or the water on the beach. The staff unfortunately let this property down big time, they are super friendly but very lazy it was a mission to get served, on the Friday night 2 ladies from the Tarimind Hotel came to help and what a difference in attitude and service ie you actually got some
We were not advised of the hotel program regarding timing of breakfast lunch dinner etc we were only there 2 nights and we just seemed not to matter which was such a shame we left on the Saturday and Friday night a program for next week events was given to us, not much help when leaving the next day. The staff were lovely but they just did not want to serve it seemed. Maybe we were unlucky. We would not stay again due to the service and dreadful food and at the price they charge it truly was quite shocking. Also did not get the junior suite we had booked got a garden room facing the sea but no sea view which was the same size we had booked one of the larger rooms, but for two nights stay it was not worth moving. SHAME. Ps we stayed at the Tarimind 3 years ago and the food there was wonderful especially in the evening with wonderful selections and not buffet. Really this can not be at this level of hotel

Great room. Great surfside location. Adults only. Smiling junior staff. Good access to walking toward North on beach.
The reception, dining room and bar are chaotic, lack atmosphere and the service is flaky. There is no clarity or communication, for example the relationship with Positano restaurant. No ambience in terms of lighting in the evening, no real music (premier league football continuous on TV - really?). The facilities need Management and Direction.

Great location for the west coast and directly on the beach
Since becoming all inclusive the atmosphere has changed and the standard of the food has dropped. Drinks are not premium with limited choice

Amazing location, on the west coast, view from the balcony was breath taking, very clean and that room have everything we needed. the hotel staff went far and beyond, we felt very welcomed and well looked after. Over all great experience. One of the best hotels we have ever seen. Certainly recommend.

I liked the quieter inner space of the covered patio where they served breakfast. The ocean front room with the balcony is a must. The chairs on the deck directly behind the beach were very comfortable but it was hard to get those as people would "save" them. The check in was very personable but then never saw our ambassador again. You are basically on your own after check in.
We just returned from The House on Jan 13th, 2020. We had just lost our house in Marsh Harbour in hurricane Dorian and really wanted to spoil ourselves and decompress. It was also my husbands 60th Birthday and so we decided to go to The House as the reviews seemed very good. We were disappointed on so many levels.
The service went from a 10/10 to a 4/10 very quickly. The personal check in with our ambassador was the best part and I felt this was going to be a pampered experience; they set up our massage, brought you a drink of your choice, checked you into your room....but then no one assisted us in any way thereafter - Our ambassador showed up on our last day and told us she was on days off (for the last 4 days).
These may seem trivial but not one staff member asked us if we'd like a drink during the days while lounging on the beach chairs - so you had to go to the bar yourself. Our towels got soaked ( we had a lot of rain bans) several times a day and no one came to help clear them away and bring you fresh ones - and if you went to get fresh ones there were none at times.
I had read about the complaints about lack of chairs (coz for this nightly rate) who wants to get up at the crack of dawn to 'save' a chair? And our ambassador assured us there would be no problem on check in. There was. Once I asked a staff member what the policy was on saved chairs and she told me its not allowed. Ok so how are you managing this? She said go ahead and remove the towel yourself. Onus on me not the Hotels problem.
Our room was number 374 which was dated but functional (beware the shower stall is in a bathtub) Not sure what this was about but one night there was very loud music coming from the bar (across the street) til about 11 o'clock. Loud enough that you couldn't read in your room or relax.
The main bathroom was dingy and there was never a roll of toilet paper on the roll.

The staff were amazing. Genuinely helpful and friendly. They really made the stay special.
The relaxed atmosphere and the fact that it was adults only was excellent and why so popular.
There weren’t enough sun beds in the non beach areas.
The sun beds had to be reserved by 6am or you missed out! They need more beds, a policy not allowing the reservation of beds when not used and enforcement of the policy.
However it will be better in the future once the intended improvements are implemented by the change in ownership.
