Most of the appliances are new! TWO REAL QUEEN BEDS! NO FUTONS! Close to mountain bike trails and very cool walking trails. These days it's hard to find good value for your money. Everyone thinks they can give you a canvas tent and charge 250 a night for "rustic charm" plus a cleaning and host fee. Unbelievable. However we were extremely please to find this gem of a stay. Very clean, well appointed and all the conveniences you would expect from a 4 star hotel or more! And the price could not be beat. Great communication from the hosts. Will be booking again. Thanks!

Friendly interaction with host from day of booking. This was our first time in a host’s property. We were apprehensive, but, all turned out very well. Property was as we’d hoped and expected, even though we got in late and left early the next morning. Best sleep of the vacation, this far. Only suggestion would be to orient the guest to the TV channels and operation of the TV. Ron said he would have helped if I would have inquired, even after 9 pm. Nice park close by for dog to romp in. Really lovely stay. Thanks to Ron, Pilar, and Kevin.

We stopped for the night in Rio Rancho, NM. This place was perfect. Two beds, no frills, just a clean place to stay for the night! There was a walking / running path nearby with lots of folks walking their dogs. Safe neighborhood. Wanted to stay again on our way back through from Utah, but they were booked up!

This was a great find for a last minute trip to Rio Rancho which accepts pets. Ron is very communicative and helpful with the check-in process and any questions. The property is very centrally located to Rio Rancho, Albuquerque, and Corrales areas. We were really pleased with the stay and would certainly stay here again.

Very convenient location for easy access to area (by car) in quiet, safe, residential Corrales. Great trails nearby with beautiful view. Unit is clean, simply furnished, but with everything needed, including very appreciated washer/dryer. Ron and Pilar are friendly, extremely generous, and responsive to any inquiry, while also very respectful of their guests' privacy. We would definitely stay again.

The guesthouse was conveniently located in a very nice suburb of ABQ. Hosts were very kind and shared invaluable insight on the area as well as making us feel at home during our stay. We felt honored to share a unique experience of being in the area for both the balloon fiesta and the "ring of fire" eclipse, celebrating the events right along with our hosts and their neighbors. Thank you Ron & Pilar for everything, especially the chilis!

This was a wonderfully smooth stay. Great communication with the host for an easy check in. This is a private little unit that was perfect for my husband and I and our two dogs while visiting family in Albuquerque. I will definitely stay here again!

Ron and Pilar are excellent hosts - so thankful to have found their casita! I booked this stay for my parents and they were so comfortable. It was equipped with all their needs. Ron and Pilar were awesome hosts. They space was perfect for us and having the ability to bring our little dog with us made for a great trip. We had everything we needed and our hosts were so helpful and kind. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. We will be making this our place to stay in the coming visits for sure! The hosts (Ron and his wife) were very kind. The process was easy, communication great. Nice area of Rio Rancho with nearby trail. Beautiful views on trail walks. Lots of traffic to get to downtown on weekdays but less on weekends. Only wish was that the unit had central air conditioning. We took our small dog and he is used to 75* inside. Since the instructions were to turn off the swamp cooler when we left the inside temperature got up to 80’ on two days. I’m sure our dog just laid on the floor. We left the ceiling fan on to circulate air in the dinning room and the heat is dry so our dog seemed to not mind the warmer environment. We recommend this unit for couples.
