The train station is a short walk away and can be comfortably reached on foot. However the route to the station is very hilly and you may prefer to catch a taxi which costs £6 if you have large, heavy bags. There is a frequent bus service also to the station (the number 7 bus). The bus takes longer to catch than it would to take you to walk. Trains from London leave every 15 minutes and take an hour. Trains from Gatwick take 35 minutes and are very frequent.
Airport transfers and taxis
For groups you may prefer to travel by taxi from the airport. The best local taxi firm is Brighton and Hove Streamline. You may find a cheaper private hire firm by searching on the Internet.
Accessibility
The house is on two floors. The stairs are easy to climb with a supporting rail. The house is not suitable for those that require wheelchair access or for those that are too infirm to manage a flight of stairs.

Holiday rentals are my business and because of this you will not experience the cancellation problems many people encounter when renting from people doing it as a sideline on this site who subsequently are asked by the freeholders, the council or their mortgage company to close it. I have all necessary permissions to run this as a commercial property. The property also meets the necessary safety standards.

This is a fantastic property in a great location. It’s very comfortable and tastefully decorated with all the modern facilities. I think the location is perfect.
The only negative comments I will make is that there are signs throughout the property to remind guests not to do this or that, and also that the backyard cannot be access before 7am or after 9pm.

Nice property, comfortable with everything one needs. Great for four of us although might feel overcrowded with ten. While understandable that the back garden shouldn’t be used for partying as it would disturb the neighbours during this spell of very hot weather was disappointing we couldn’t open the door just to let some air through. Also, would feel unsafe sleeping in the downstairs bedroom with no way to get out if there was a fire outside the bedroom door.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay.

Great location, just off a main high street and a short walk to the seafront. The Pier is approx. 10 minutes walk and The Lanes even less. We were really surprised how quiet it was at night.
The property is very well equipped and spacious. There was fresh milk in the fridge, tea/coffee and some Twixes along with dishwasher tabs and other cleaning products.
A lovely touch was a vase of fresh flowers.

Apartment and location were good but parking in Brighton is a nightmare and the spot made available by the host was some distance away. Did not appreciate hosts surly manner when contacted and her question “Did we want parking?” When it had been booked and charged for and paid for!!! Seemed to be a consistent less than friendly attitude of the locals towards tourists which is strange considering it is a tourist destination and these same tourists are using and paying for the facilities. Perhaps Catherine can improve her phone manner to be more welcoming in the future.

Great location, great decorating, very clean, bright with a small patio. House is very small and rather tight for room for our family of five, but was clean and nicely decorated. Ideally located right in the heart of the city. Owner is great

Central Brighton location
The Brighton flat was clean and good for our family of 4. Having 2 bathrooms was nice. The kitchen was clean, the coffee and tea was great and the little deck and garden out back was lovely to enjoy our morning coffee. The parking pass was convenient and just a couple of blocks away. Also nice to have a washer and dryer. The host, Catherine was responsive. The flat is central and easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Not the hosts fault but the seagulls and cars were a bit noisy and woke us up a few times.

We were a mature group of ladies celebrating my Sister's 50th and including my 82 year old mother. It was just a little disappointing that any requests were met with more concern about the upkeep of the property and all the local rules rather than making our very responsible group feel welcome. The property is advertised boldly with parking on the Home Away site. In reality this is a shared parking permit which was only made available for 48 hours rather than the 3 days requested. The request to extend it just for a few hours was turned down. Any other booking any of us had experienced elsewhere included parking immediately outside the property - in this case it was a bit of a trek with all our bags. Maybe take a look at the damp in the front bedroom? Our visit was fine but but it could have been wonderful by just removing a little of the unnecessary stress in moving cars around and not being made to feel you were walking on eggshells while staying there in case you upset the neighbours.

Central, clean and well equipped. Parking provision and any special requests disappointing.

We rented this house for my sister's hen do and it really was exactly what we needed! It fits 9 people comfortably to sleep and all the amenities (cooking, bathrooms, linen etc.) were ideal for self catering and a couple of nights away.
Location is right near all the things to do in Brighton and the shops are literally around the corner.
The house itself is really nicely decorated and the courtyard out the back is beautifully designed.
With great weather too, needless to say we had a great time and I would highly recommend this place.

A great property in the perfect location
A pretty well decorated cottage in the perfect location. We were right in the centre of town. Everything that we wanted was within a 1-5 minute walk away. It also felt like a calm oasis as eating lunch in the garden filled with roses and the sun beating down felt heavenly. It was clean and well equipped and having a parking space was a real bonus.

Charming property in a fantastic location
The property was charming with everything we needed for our girls birthday reunion. We had a delightful stay and hopefully will come back. It was as described in the advert and located in the very centre of the town. You definitely won’t need a car here as the shops, restaurants, beach etc are on the doorstep. This property was of a high standard and particularly so when compared to other holiday rentals I have booked in the past.

Clean, modern, great location
Some friends and myself stayed here for a long weekend away from London. The location of the property is great, being about a ten-minute walk from the train station and less to the beach and the city centre. Inside it was modern, very clean and the appliances worked well. We really enjoyed the open plan kitchen and living room which allowed us to all hang out together while making food, eating together around the table and sitting on the sofas.
There are more than enough good restaurants and bars around the property, and the recommendations the owner gave us were great as none of us were really familiar with Brighton before arriving. The patio area would have been great but but we didn't really have time to use it. The mattresses on the beds felt like they were good quality and probably quite expensive so we all slept well. Wi-Fi was a decent speed too.
If any of my friends were looking to spend some time in Brighton, I would definitely recommend this place to them.

You would wish this apartment was yours!
Catherine is a lovely person and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on our next trip. This apartment is LOVELY cosy apartment. Very spacious and you have your own back garden space for a small Bbq for friends to come over and enjoy time with you in Brighton.
The power shower is amazing and there is another bathroom with a bath for all the ladies. Beautifully presented and a home away from home that is very cosy and delightful. This apartment is a walk away from the best of Brighton's activities. Not to far from the clubs, restaurants, bars and shopping mall is right outside your door step. Double glazed windows so it is very peaceful at night. Thank you for a lovely stay Catherine.
