Lovely place! Cute, quaint, excellent service. As a woman traveling by myself, they made me feel safe and taken care of. The breakfast was amazing! I wish I had more time to explore the neighborhood because it seemed very lovely as well: cute shops, art galleries, handcrafts and great bars and restaurants.
I'm a little concerned about the lack of A/C. It does cool down at night and I was very comfortable. But it is April. I'm not sure it would be cool enough in the summer, which would be my only concern for staying there in the summer.

Property was easy to find, very well located just a few blocks from the main square along with many restaurant/bar/shopping options. Staff was very friendly, spoke both English & Spanish and they were on-site and always helpful. I brought my dog and having a little yard for her to wander around in was awesome. I had a car and they provided a secure parking lot a few blocks away. Breakfast was on demand; I had eggs, toasts, beans and coffee - a perfect send-off for the day. Highly recommend for a night or 2 while in the lovely Tlaquepaque area.
I slept with the windows open and could smell cigarette smoke so that was awful. However, it could have been from a neighbor or possibly another guest, wasn't a huge deal though.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa del Retono. The room and gardens were beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and filling, and the owner was a pleasure to talk with. The location was perfect; it was only a very short walk to the main square in Tlaquepaque. We only wish we had another night or two to stay at Casa del Retono.
Nothing.

Loved listening to birds in the garden. The location was perfect, far enough from the heart of town to be quiet but close enough to walk there comfortably. The owners were super accommodating and friendly. I felt invited into their home. I would definately stay again.

I liked that the property was very secure. The owner would open the door for you and then close it. I felt safe knowing that people could not get in so easily.
Everything was amazing. The only thing I could say that must be fixed/improved is the bad smell that comes from the sink when the water is running. That’s the only thing, I would still come back though because everything else makes up for it.

Close to the centre without being too noisy. The staff went out of their way to help make my stay a good one.
The wifi in my room was poor, but it was good in reception

Cute and rustic rooms. Clean. Good value. great location.
We have been to many places in Mexico where the staff lives at the location. The common area felt too much like we were in their space. The entrance area is a kitchen and there is no real lobby area. It was super cluttered and not inviting. The staff was nice, but it really felt like you were interrupting something - it was just kind of awkward.

This is my favorite hotel in Guadalajara. Tlaquepaque is a beautiful little town with great restaurants and quiet at night. It’s not too far from GDL airport and walking distance to any part of Tlaquepaque. The best

This charming hotel was the best place ever to stay. We loved every thing about this beautiful property from the owners our room was so clean and super cute. Breakfast was very good and appreciated and the owners paid for parking at a safe covered area such a bonus. We will try to stay there again it was like 2 blocks from the main square.

We like EVERYTHING! The property and rooms are beautifully decorated. Very Mexican. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Very clean. The breakfast was delicious. Location is fantastic. We didn't use the parking, but parked on the street with no issues.
That we only stayed one night.

The hotel is cozy and beautiful. Located just 5 minutes walk to the Tlaquepaque center. I really loved the decorations of the hotel. The owner and his family are friendly and kind. Every morning we had delicious homemade breakfast. I'm so much grateful that we could stay much longer than the checkout time on the last day. I will definitely come back to Tlaquepaque and stay here again.
The room doesn't have AC.
