Excellent service with great food quality and special staff throughout the hotel
4.1
Family room was very spacious. Breakfast was lovely and it was so close to the beach.
Only one fan per room and the way the room was laid out, it couldn’t reach everyone.
Breakfast staff weren’t very pleasant.
4.1
The whole experience was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Checking in electronically the previous day was great and very easy to do, made booking in really easy.
Car parking was an issue on the day we arrived, mostly due to a golf tournament, however we weren't advised of this prior to arriving.
4.1
Comfy beds. Plenty of room in outside lodge. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. For an overnight stay it did what we needed it to do. Let us park up early then checked in later. The beach is a very short walk away.
The steps into the hotel all very steep. No lift. Didn’t realise it was being renovated in the main areas but it didn’t bother us.
4.1
The cleanliness of room and good breakfast
The amount of stairs up to the room and the stairs at the back are very steep
4.1
Great location lovely rooms with a great sea view.
Nothing to mention
4.1
Swift and smooth check in, special mention to flawless reception staff ladies Tiguas and Elizabeth.
Insufficient time to fully appreciate establishment.
4.1
The rooms were a good size and the location was nice
Dirty toilet on arrival, tvs had no signal and they didn't know how to fix it so it took about an hour for us to fix it. The curtains didn't meet so let light in and we were woken at 6am by what I think was the kitchen extractor fans being switched on ( our room was right above the kitchen)

Food was very good, very good value .Bar area was nice ,bit of sport on tv,nice views.very close to beach and town centre, staff were helpful and friendly.
Although I was expecting a small room it was very small,ok for a single person,I didn’t look other rooms though. If you are a couple I would pay extra for a bigger room.

Lovely staff, both on reception and in bar, enjoyed welcome hot drink and food. Room nice big size and comfortable.
The smell of cigarette smoke as you enter entrance of hotel
4.1
The location was perfect for peaceful stay, literally right next to the beach but in walking distance of Skegness centre so could enjoy the local attractions.
There was nothing we didn't like, had a fabulous stay at this hotel.

Location
Dirty bathroom
Felt very judged by the Golfers, looked up and down as if we were beneath them!
4.1
Clean, comfortable room. We stayed in a family room so we have two rooms (one big double and one single) with a bathroom in the middle.
Great and tasty English breakfast included in price. Plus, cereals, yoghurt, juice and fruits on the side.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Coffee/tea/milk/sugar in room with a kettle and jugs.
Two pillows, one soft and one firm. Comfortable mattress.
1,5 km from a Skegness Pier and very close to the beach. Lovely view to the golf course.
Outside, just in the middle of two our rooms was a big tube/ventilation pipe, maybe something from boiler and it was very noisy all the time. 24h it was humming/buzzing like when boiler is working. We should ask for a different room as it was very disturbing and it kept waking us up. I can only assume that different side of the hotel would be perfect and peaceful.
I would love to come back but will definitely ask for a different side of the hotel.
4.1
Comfy bed and soft sheets. Room service made the bed and topped up the tea whilst we are out which was nice. The room was airy and comfortable. Good value really.
Some of the fixtures in the room looked a little tired maybe, the lamps seemed to be wonky like they were broken though still lit up fine. Bath tub had some sticky marks left in it but it was nothing major and we cleaned it before having a bath ourselves.
Lack of sockets next to the bed were slightly annoying but that's not to be helped. None of my issues would stop me going again.
4.1
The room was spacious and had a great view out on the golf course. Room was very clean, linen and towels were fresh. The toilet brush needs to be thrown away though. The shower was a little temperamental, going from freezing cold to very hot in a second. Could location to the beach literally 30 seconds from the hotel and about a 15 to 20 minute walk to Skegness. We did have breakfast which is well worth the add on when booking, and happily paid on the day. Would definitley stay here again.
The only thing I would mention is the window on the side to the bedroom is over looked by the balcony. I understand you can't move the window but suggest some frosted sheets over it for some privacy. This way you can keep the curtains open, as we had them shut all the time we were there.
4.1
Location and size of room.
The attitude of the staff. Made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Had to ask for our table to be wiped in the bar. Reception staff did not give eye contact and rushed through instructions/breakfast times whereabouts of room as though on an auto cue on fast forward. Not personable. Each time we walked through reception we were not acknowledged. They need to go to the south shore and have training from the Royal Hotel which was a totally different experience. Someone who looked like a builder let out an almighty loud belch as we were walking into the bar. He was behind the reception desk next to the receptionist! The bar food could have been better. Had burger with blue cheese and fries and slaw. Slaw was stale. Bun the burger was in was stale. Edible but not great. Reception asked if everything ok on departure said yes as did not want to make a scene as builder from outside work standing next to receptionist again behind the desk! Not a great experience.

Lovely views of the golf course
Couldn't get any spare pillows, plus breakfast was a little greasy as everything was fried

Th location is perfect for us 😊
Check in staff spoke at speed just rolling off the instructions with no real attention or care if we or others understood them all . Very robotic ! We asked if we could check in , fully understood when rooms weren’t ready for approx 20 mins , when I peeped round the corner around 5 mins later people were checking in . No effort had been made to let us know we could now begin . I asked immediately if we could and was told yes . Did not feel welcomed by reception . Just another person .

Meal very nice in bar
Check in at 3 but our room wasn't ready until 4 , but we were given a tea or coffee . Still not clean like it should have been. Access to hotel not too good if you are not good with steps .

good bar and restaurant
we were in room 129 and one of rooms above had a noisy toilet fan.
our room was sold as small double which was fine however the bed at one side is hard up against the wall with no space to get out.

Staff were amazing and went above and beyond as I was travelling with a 6 year old.
Helped with ice to keep medicine cold on the way home and extra tea when needed.
A shame the room wasn't checked over night as we were on a 2 night stay so no beds made/ checked and no milks or tea bags replenished.
