About this farm stay rental
This traditional Grade II listed farmhouse is a spacious, six bedroom, comfortable property boasting modern and traditional elements. This is a perfect location for a rural reunion with friends or family in the midst of the heart of England’s farming land.
Originally built in the late 17th Century, Moorhall Farm has been a family home for the Brodie family since 1936 and it is still used today as part of the working farm. Your immediate neighbours will be our herd of beef cattle.
The farmhouse is situated just off the A44 on the Worcestershire/Herefordshire border, 4 miles from the market town of Bromyard on the outskirts of the village of Whitbourne.
“An incredible Stay!
This place truly was a fantastic find for me and my family. A newly furnished family home with 6 bedrooms and huge amounts of communal space. Fab location too. The owner is also very welcoming and accommodating to suit needs.”

Lucy the owner was fantastic all the way through the booking, pre-arrival and post-arrival processes. The property is so unique and absolutely huge, so easily accommodated our family of 13 people. It is a working farm and you live next to cows and tractors, but it all adds to the rural experience and one we'd definitely all recommend

Loads of space. Very well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms were large with lovely comfortable beds. The whole family enjoyed our stay

Really enjoyed our stay here - 16 of us plus dog, spread over three generations - and would certainly return. The house was cozy (loved the wood burner in the lounge) and clean. The age of the property gave it some real charm. We didn’t really use the outside space, but did enjoy a couple of muddy walks in the surrounding area.

We stayed here with family and friends; spacious house and garden so did not feel squashed with 8 adults and 6 kids. Friendly and helpful hosts. Good location for visiting local area. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely house and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect base for a long weekend with extended family to celebrate a birthday and visit game fair. Living spaces are a great size.

We went to the property for a reunion of university friends, 6 adults, 7 kids. Great roomy house, plenty of stuff to do around and about. Kids loved the cows & pigs!

Had a fantastic time here with kids and grandkids in a delightful farmhouse. The house was so well designed for all the little family groups we have and well equipped for large family meals, entertaining everyone and finding space to chill away from everyone if needed.
Lucy, the host, was so very helpful with all things to do with our short stay and always on hand when needed.
The fact that the house was surrounded by so much open space, lots of animals to keep the little ones entertained and within a very short walk the most amazing waterfall and weir. Every single family member of all ages and sizes loved the house and clearly Lucy and her family thought of everything needed for such a break. Thank you Lucy.

We were a family group of thirteen and there was plenty of room and never felt crowded. The only issue that we found was that the outside space was not particularly toddler friendly.

Spacious and comfortable; we had a good week. An ideal base for exploring the area.

We are a group of of four families with children ranging from 1 to 8 years of age, and we had a lovely stay at Moorhall Farm. It was very well catered for with lots of games and DVDs for both the children and adults. The kitchen was also very well equipped. Lucy our host was very approachable and great with communication. The cows were an added bonus for the kids too!
Thank you Lucy!

The property was a great size, bedrooms all good sizes and the king beds were such a treat! The layout was really great for socialising, large kitchen with plenty of table/seating space, plenty of cutlery and crockery! And a good size outside area too to enjoy the sun.
Lucy is a fab communicator and answered all of my questions over email before the trip and checked via text during stay.
My Godson loves cows so these neighbours were very well received.
Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend to others.
Thank you so much ☺️

8 friends came for a walking weekend - walked on the Malvern hills, walked along Severn combined with a trip on steam train from Bewdley, and also did a local walk starting from the house.
House a good size for our group - we catered for ourselves - kitchen was great for this.
Host Lucy was very helpful answering my questions about local pubs in advance of our stay.
Thank you.

What a lovely characterful old property. We all loved having our own staircases to the bedrooms, but one big open area for the lounge/ kitchen was perfect for socialising.
Some nice walks in the area, and the hot tub we hired was an added bonus.
Our only complaint was we were only there for a weekend so didn’t get much chance to explore the nearby area very much.
Lucy was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed.

Lovely property. Just right for a family break to all catch up

Ideal location for a relaxing family get together, loads of space, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Nicely part of a working farm with cows and pigs. Lots of opportunities for walking (inc dogs) from the farm. Curch, pub, National Trust property all easywalk.

Beautiful farm house. Locations was perfect size was perfect.
We had a fab weekend 13 ov us for a friend's 40th Birthday.
So relaxed and chilled and the kids loved the animals.
Lucy was very accommodating as wanted to get in alittle earlier than check in.
We will deffently be back.

Lucy & Stephen were very helpful and accommodating, we were able to book in earlier than expected and had extra time to leave on the last day also. The farmhouse is very large and yet very cosy and warm. It is ideal for a large number of people ( we were 10 adults and 1 toddler) and the downstairs open plan arrangement meant that we could be doing different activities but still be aware of each other. Would definitely recommend.

We loved this house. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen so well equipped. Kids loved the snooker table. We hired the hot tub which was perfect to sit in and look out at the countryside. We loved the cows and although it is indeed a small working farm, it wasn't intrusive at all and you can really enjoy the peace and quiet with an occasional moo. Lucy was welcoming and helpful. Fully recommend. We enjoyed walks in stunning beautiful Malvern Hills and enjoyed outings to Malvern, Ledbury, Worcester, Ludlow Castle and the Brockhampton Estate which was round the corner. Had delicious last night meal at the Fox and Hounds and if you need a hair cut go and see Ben at Whites in Bromyard! Fabulous bakery there too. Kids enjoyed splash pool in Malvern with waves and slide, and Laser Quest too. Such a great week in a beautiful house. Loved it.

We had a wonderful long weekend at the house, with 11 adults (3 family generations), 3 children (from 6 months to 13 years) and 2 dogs. A really well equipped kitchen and big dining table made for enjoyable meal times, and the pool table was great for entertainment. WiFi is a bit slow, but that wasn't a problem for us. We had some nice walks and enjoyed a rare weekend together.

It’s a beautiful property. We are 4 families with children who stayed for 3 nights. It was a real bonus that we had a bathroom per family. Kitchen was well equipped and views around property are lovely. A very special old building that’s been carefully cared for with luxurious modern touches. Despite being on a busy-ish road, the noise of the traffic wasn’t obvious from the house. Only downside was we found a walk to the pub a little tricky due to time of year and vegetation being unusually overgrown this time of year. But several of our group did runs from the property and found good enjoyable routes.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moorhall Farm, it had everything you could possibly need for a wonderful time away. Lucy was extremely helpful and checked in on us in the middle of our stay to make sure everything was okay. We all believed the overall cleanliness and attention to detail could have been better, but other than that our stay was lovely!

30th birthday stay
The house was perfect for my 30th birthday with everything that we needed for a long weekend in the countryside.
The bedrooms were a great size and the beds were EXTREMELY comfortable and there was plenty of room for us all.
The location was amazing, garden was great and we hired a hot tub for the weekend.
Communication with Lucy was really easy and always very welcoming.
Would definitely recommend for a large group gathering as the house had everything we needed and more!

Spent a relaxing week over half term with friends and family, great setup even for a large group like ours (15), with enough space to spend time together but also have a bit of quiet time when needed

Rented this large house to spend a late Xmas hol with 3 generations of the family. It worked really well. The house is spacious and well equipped for a large group. It is on a working farm but the children loved the early morning tractor visit. There is a fantastic butchers shop at Knightwick worth stocking up in and we wish we’d had more time to explore - the area is lovely.

Lovely family break in the perfect house
From start to finish everything was perfect. Arrival/departure and comms with host were easy and flexible, house itself was spotless, large but cosy at same time and lovely and warm. Lovely little pub with open fires within walking distance and a Caribbean meal from the hosts was the icing on the cake. Thanks for having us - a wonderful memorable weekend!

A wonderful house for a gathering with friends
We were a group of friends and stayed for a long weekend - five couples, one single, two babies and a dog. The house was perfect for us. Spacious and clean, with a good living room area for relaxing and a huge kitchen table for large group meals and games. The pool table was also a bonus! The bedrooms were large and spread nicely apart, and the little ones loved that there were cows outside! Lucy was a lovely and communicative host - highly recommend!

Great Farm House and Location
We had a great stay here. There was plenty of space for all of us (4 adults, 5 children). Great communication from Lucy who made us feel very welcome. A great location to then head off for day trips in the surrounding areas. There is an awesome cafe, just 1 minute down the road, loads of great pubs for eating out, highly recommended.
