Dårlig oplevelse !!!!!

Flot værelse / lejlighed

1. Booking skrev, at vi skulle betale opholdet med bank overførsel før ankomst, men de oplysninger modtog vi aldrig. Istedet fik vi ved ankomst at vide af ejeren, at det var kun kontakt afregning !!! - og han modtog gerne dollars eller euro - (til høj veksel valuta )!!!! Vi blev taget med bukserne nede. Lidt for smart. !!! 2. Vi bookede værelset fordi der var privat tagterrasse - her fik vi at vide, at det var på egen risiko at gå derop. Der manglede gelænder de sidste to meter - og så var det frygtelig glat pga alger ( manglende rengøring ) 3. Morgenmaden incl er under al kritik. Vil du have andet end et rundstykke - så koster det … se billede af vores morgenmad 4. Ingen rengøring overhovedet i de tre dage vi boede der - så lidt komisk med en boks hvor vi kunne ligge tips til rengøringen 5. Det ligger et død sygt sted - kræver bil som skal parkere på gaden

4 perfekte Wochen im Paradies! MEGA (würden die Kinder sagen... ;o)

La Reine Creole ist eine ganz besondere, einzigartige Unterkunft, in der wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben, mit einem perfekten Gastgeber, der immer hilfsbereit war und manch gute Tipps hatte, die nicht in Reiseführer zu finden sind. Sehr zu empfehlen für alle, die einen besonderen Ort suchen und nebenbei auch noch an einem der schönsten Plätze der Insel! DANKE!!!

Great place, good location - would stay again

Delightful apartment, friendly hosts

An unfortunate glitch meant the air conditioning was not working 100% - the owners were apologetic and made every attempt to resolve it but unfortunately not possibly completely in the holiday period. Nobody’s fault and can’t fault the owners for the way they tried to resolve it. Thank you.

We just simply loved it. Everything was perfect. The entire house, our apartment (no. 1.), the garden were great. Our host, Marc was very kind and helpful. Let us emphasize the cleanliness, it was accurate. And the garden. We really enjoyed sitting on "our" terrrace in the evenings. Just like in a magical garden rounded beautiful plants, cute kitties and geckos. Parking was pretty easy, just in front of the house. Location is also perfect. Hopefully, one day we can returt to Mauritius and we will definitely book again at Marc :-)

I would definitely recommend this accomodation and would definitely stay again!

La Reinie Creole is a beautiful B&B operated by a lovely family. Marc is attentive to guest's needs and very helpful. The space is beautiful and tucked away from the hectic and touristy areas but close enough to the beach, restaurants, village and other sights. Corrine arranged a super evening out with a beach bonfire, local food and rum, and a jam session with local musicians - we def recommend this activity!

My new home in Mauritius

I had the feeling of being home! At La Reine Creole you will get the authentic Mauritian culture mixed with German level of service. Originally I booked for three nights and decided to stay 6 more nights until departure. In this area you will be close to amazing beaches and to kiting spots (which are amazing!). Furthermore you can get to know real Mauritian and Creolian culture. Mark and Corinne take care of your needs and make your stay comfortable. I will definitely come back and La Reine Creole is for me the place to stay!

The house is beautiful. Our room is best described as a suite with a kitchen, lounge area and terrace as well as bedroom and bathroom. Marc was a delightful host and gave us many insights into local life.

Realistically you need a car to stay here as there are no beaches and few facilities within walking distance.

Superb

Very friendly staff. We are chatting with each other everyday. Mark helped us organize the car, trips and give us a lot of information. The terrace outside is also very nice. You have the best hikes in Mauritius around! Kitesurfing too.

We recommend you to take the air-conditioned room. It was so hot in summer. We should book it earlier. Breakfast is based on your own request, you should tell them earlier about your personal preference instead by default.

Very nice apartment/house in a spectacular part of Mauritius with plenty of things to visit. The host family was very kind and flexible, giving valuable tips for restaurants and things to visit or to avoid in the area. Highly recommended!

Tropical paradise house for independent travellers with a car

Stunning house and garden, room beautifully decorated, comfy bed, close to all amenities and beach so long as you have a car. Just a fan no air con, but that was fine for me. Good base to explore the south.

Not the friendliest of all the places I stayed in Mauritius, as per other reviews, the breakfast is only available between 8-8:30 and consists of a banana and a roll. Owners not willing to make any plan to arrange an alternative breakfast outside these hours (yoghurt and fruits pretty easy to give to someone the night before). Overall, a stunning place and I would still highly recommend - it's good if you just want to rent a room rather than have a hosted experience.

We really like to stay 2 weeks there, a beautiful place with friendly people. We enjoyed every day. I can highly reccomend it. Btw they also booked the dolphin tour for us and this was one of the best experiences.
