Fabulous!

Not only was this house luxurious, well-stocked, perfect for families and get togethers, but it's location is awesome. So close to downtown and all it has to offer, but there's even a playground across the street. Great for kids. Really couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thanks Tisha.

Excellent property, beautifully maintained, close to main square in Soller and bus service so we didnt need a car while there. As a family group of 10 it suited everybody.

The house is beautiful and in a prime location. The view is lovely out of all the windows. The kitchen is perfect for a larger group and plenty of space to cook. There are two master suites located on the 3rd floors that are large and welcoming. The den area on the second floor was perfect for the 5 kids we had with us. Tisha was also very helpful before and during our stay. The pool and back patio is beautiful and you may not want to leave it.

I'll echo others in saying this one of the nicest short term rentals I've ever stayed in. What really sets it apart is how well equipped it is. It has every kitchen item you need, including spices and oil. There are plenty of towels and paper products. The water was strong a hot! We enjoyed that everyone had their own space. Best of all were the idillic views from the 3rd floor and the sunrises from the little roof terrace. Don't hesitate to book the perfect property.

Our family of 8 stayed over a week at this beautifully restored and decorated villa. The home is as beautiful, romantic and historic as the photos and description of the rental.
We could not be happier staying at Tisha Dawson’s home. Every detail from a fully appointed kitchen, bathrooms and pool side dining was perfect.
I highly recommend this villa and it’s very convenient location to city center, just blocks away.
Tisha Dawson was fantastic to work with every step of our trip to booking to recommendations for everything. This is not always the case with VRBOs.
Our stay was perfect! Be confident renting this villa with Tisha.

10 out of 10! In short, amazing property, perfect location, attentive host. Mallorca in general, and Sóller specifically, were an absolute dream and I couldn’t recommend this property enough to enjoy all this place has to offer. Our family will certainly be back.

We wanted a house that would cope with three generations and this was perfect with great bars and restaurants close by, the lovely wooden train to take the children to the beach and a house that had everything we needed including a lovely swimming pool. It was everything we had hoped for.

C´an Ballester is in every aspect a fabulous place to stay. Location is amazing, the hostess Tisha is kind and attentive, the villa itself is spaceous and beautiful, outside area including pool is charming and very cozy. I cannot point to a single thing, that could be better. 10/10

We loved this house! The in town location made everything in Soller extremely accessible. The restaurants, shops, train, etc were only a few minutes walk away. The large pool was so refreshing after being out during the warm days. All of the rooms were large especially the bedrooms with plenty of clean good sized bathrooms. A notebook loaded with information about the house and the area was quite helpful and Tisha was always available to answer any questions. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. There was also had a big bowl of fruit, a couple of bottles of wine and some cheese waiting for us when we arrived. A very nice, welcoming touch!

A fabulous holiday property with plenty of room inside and outside for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. The whole property is well designed with beautiful interiors and the two master bedrooms are stunning. The lovely open plan kitchen and dining area with seating areas around it makes it a lovely communal space. The outside area has lovely comfy seating on both terraces and another dining area with plenty of loungers around the pool. Soller is lovely and It only takes a few minutes to walk from the villa to the main square where you will find a variety of good restaurants, cafes, boutique shops and, of course, ice cream! Definitely take the famous tram to the Port! Tisha, our Host was so lovely and helpful in giving us lots of information about the villa and Soller and she also made a point of finding out about the availability of GF food in the supermarket as one of our family members is Coeliac. If you want to stay in a lovely area and in a beautiful villa, Ca'n Ballester in Soller is the place to stay. We hope to return one day! Pat & Graham

Wow! I stayed at the villa with family and friends and we were truly blown away. The villa is absolutely gorgeous with everything you might need during your stay. We spent hours in the pool, enjoying the sunshine. It’s located moments away from the main square in Soller - minutes to restaurants, ice cream and all the shops. The tram is also closeby to take you to the port to enjoy the sea.
Such a perfect setting for a memorable holiday! We loved every minute.

We had an absolutely amazing week at can ballester. The villa is outstanding, even better than the pictures. Tisha could not have been more helpful. Soller and the port are beautiful. The only minor issue we had (with the area not the villa) is the severe lack of taxis at the moment. We didn't rent cars so we relied on taxis to get home from the port at night which was a bit of a nightmare. However if you take the gorgeous little train into the port and manage to make the last train back to soller which is around 9pm I believe, you won't have a problem. Highly highly recommend this and we will be back!

We stayed at Can Ballester in May 2022 to spend a week celebrating my wife's 60th birthday with our family. The Villa is beautifully furnished with the most tasteful decor, inside as well as throughout the various "garden rooms". The nine of us had more beautiful spaces to enjoy than we had time to experience them. The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to the main square and all the shops/restaurants in the village. There is a tram in the village which provides a 20 minute open air ride to the beautiful port. We chartered a boat one day, hiked to the charming hillside village of Fornalutx for lunch and experienced the amazing festival Es Firo, all easily from the Villa. For the birthday celebration, a fabulous Private Chef (Piers Dawson) came and prepared a most memorable dinner on the Terrace. His wife Holly set a beautiful table and arranged all the wines to pair with the incredible food. We highly recommend Can Ballester and offer our thanks to host Tisha for all her help with suggestions and advice. She was only a text message away whenever we had a question!

The villa was absolutely lovely. It was even better than pictures depicted. We had a brilliant time there.
There were 12 adults and one baby in our party and we had tons of room. We cooked most nights at villa and found it to be extremely well equipped with many pots, pans, serving dishes, plates, cutlery, etc.
We could walk to center of Soller in 5 minutes and also walk up into mountains in just minutes too. We loved the location.
The property manager/owner, Tisha, was brilliant. If we had any issues they were dealt with immediately.
We could not recommend this villa more highly.

Wonderful house, wonderful location. Plenty of room for 8 adults and a one year old. The town square with a range of shops and eateries only minutes away and the vintage tram to the port was a delight. The house had everything we needed and more. We had a marvellous time and would not hesitate to recommend staying here. Many thanks Tisha for all your help.

Ca'n Ballaster was everything we'd expected and more. Tisha's communications were fantastic all the way through the process, and she was there to meet us, even though we arrived early.
The villa was immaculate and spectacular, the downstairs kitchen/living space was huge and amazing with huge doors opening out to the crystal clear swimming pool. Outside there were enough varied seating options for all 12 of us.
Level 2 had 4 large bedrooms, however the two top floor master bedroom suites were out of this world. I didn't appreciate them until the wedding day and I saw my daughters dress floating above the white settee. I even managed to take my 81yr old mother up through the top floor roof and stand watching the night sky.
Late one evening, we noticed that we had no hot water, no big deal, however I messaged Tisha, who organised her plumber to sort it and we awoke with hot water the next morning, great service. Outside the villa is a water fountain, where the locals and myself filled up water bottles, quirky but very nice.
After the wedding celebrations, we had visits from friends who were all blown away by this gem of a property in the ancient town of Soller.
Thank you Tisha & Susan

We just love C'an Ballester and the surrounding area. We had another amazing holiday, though was far busier this time with it being August. I'd recommend booking restaurants etc if possible in peak season, particularly if you are a larger group. The children loved the villa and the pool and it is just so convenient to be able to walk to the town and get the tram to the beach. Tisha again was so helpful and we will hopefully be able to visit again next year.

We had a great time in this house. We were a big group of friends of all ages 7 wks to 70 yrs and the house accommodated us all and gave us enough space to spread out. It’s well equipped in the kitchen and the children found loads of play things inside and for the pool. Check in was seamless with a warm welcome from Tisha. There’s a bonus car park however free parking for the other cars was a short walk for those not wanting to pay. It’s a walk anywhere town with great hiking from the doorstep. In the house there is a directory for most things you need in the local area and little beyond.

This villa exceeded our expectations. It is superbly located near the centre of Soller. The space was exceptional. As a family of many generations there was room for everybody to do their thing. Plenty of different seating areas meant nobody felt on top of each other. Likewise there are spaces to be sociable and gather together. We loved the outside terrace and pool. The kitchen had everything you could want and more. The furnishing was understated neutral chic, comfortable and relaxing and in tune with the Mallorcan vibe. Be aware that the town centre location means there is noise at times. We all wanted to stay longer and hope to return.

A very spacious and comfortable town house - perfect for a big family to spend some time together . Our ages ranged from a baby of 5 months to her 85 year old great grandmother. Well positioned for early morning trips to the bakery, coffees and beers in the square, and for access to the many hiking and cycling routes.
Tisha gave us all the warmest of welcomes and was attentive and responsive throughout our stay. We felt well looked after and have booked again for next year - what better review can we give?

11 of us enjoyed an excellent week in this beautiful 6 bed villa. The villa is well maintained and well equipped. Tisha was a perfect host and was very responsive both before and during our stay. The villa is just a few minutes walk from the main square, shops etc. For cyclists, its very easy to get straight out onto the excellent roads, although most rides are pretty challenging given the hills. We are definitely returning. Jonny Marsden

This is without a doubt the best appointed villa we have stayed in, the whole property has the feel of a five star hotel and the rooms and building in general are simply stunning. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could ever want to cater for yourselves with. Pool area is also great and well enclosed and not significantly overlooked with a wide array of pool toys for the kids.
The only slight draw back of the property relates to parking. While it has two off road spaces this isn't really enough to cater for the size of group that would use the house - while there is a public car park opposite this was often full and feeding the meter regularly became a bit of a pain, particularly given the eagle eyed nature of parking attendants in the town! however i think this is a problem all over Soller as it is quite an interesting drive around and parking everywhere is at a premium! however public transport via the train and tram is great.

Our second stay at this villa and it didn’t disappoint. Fantastic convenient location for walking into central soller, port or taking the tram or train. The villa is immaculate and all the bathrooms and bedrooms are well proportioned. There are 2 lounge areas and indoor and outdoor seating for dining. Unlike many large villas this one comes with plentiful supply of toiletries, kitchen basics, towels and a well stocked kitchen of utensils and crockery for those wanting to dine in. We are already planning a third stay.

I had been tasked with finding a villa to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday. We were 14 in total including 4 children aged 6 to 9. This villa was perfect in everyway,
as not only is it beautifully decorated but has all the modern amenities and the space so that even with a large group everyone had their own corner to relax in. The kitchen dining area both inside and out was perfect for our large group. One of the key reasons we chose this villa in addition to the high standard of decor was for its proximity to the stunning local town of Soller. It really is walking distance enabling the group to be able to walk into town without the fuss of a car or public transport,. The fantastic location allowed everyone the flexibility to explore the local area and countryside at their leisure. Tisha was also a wonderful host welcoming us on arrival and being available if needed for information or recommendations. All of us had a fabulous time so thank you Tisha as we would love to return!

We loved our stay at Ca'n Ballester. The accommodation was amazing and, as 6 adults and 2 children, we could spread ourselves into the lovely large beautifully decorated rooms. The kitchen was incredibly well resourced with so many options of eating and lounging areas. As with the bedrooms, we all had the space to get to sinks, fridges and cupboards without bumping into each other. The proximity of the pool is an advantage with little ones, as we could carry on with activities and at the same time keep an eye on them. The temperature of the water was just right. We will go back, I'm sure. Tisha is a fastidious host who really takes the trouble to make sure her guests have a wonderful time!

This is one very special property and so very special, so brilliant, its hard to find the superlatives to do it justice. Firstly, the photos don't.....its much better than that and its always such a welcome discovery to find that when so many fail to live up to expectation given by owner-taken photos. We came as a family of three generations, seven adults and an infant. It suited us so well in every respect and the sweet woman who runs the property, despite our arrival being 5 hours later than scheduled, was there to welcome us and guide us through everything..... so much so that we were settled in an instant. All the rooms and furnishings are exquisitely done and are faultless in every regard. So well equipped, so stylish and airy yet intimate and private too. Its but a few minutes stroll to a plethora of fun in beautiful Sóller with its bars, restaurants, sights and sounds too. Leaving was the hardest thing but we were unanimous in our wish to return when we can. I just can't recommend it highly enough and I say that as someone who took great pride in being a Homeaway member for years, renting my own house in the south of France. Do it, you'll love it!

Stayed last week with a group of 10 friends in this absolutely beautiful villa. The property is in the town of Soller and is in a great location as its a 3 minute walk from the plaza and heart of the town but is quiet and away from the noise. The villa has absolutely everything you'd need from a lovely pool, a fantastic kitchen (which is very well equipped) to really spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The villa is tastefully decorated and has lots of "areas" which is great when you have a larger group. We couldn't recommend this villa more and will definitely be back for another stay.

Our two families, 11 people in total, had a fantastic two-week holiday in Ca’n Ballester. The property is situated perfectly within Soller and the garden has the most stunning views of the mountains. Ca’n Ballester offers everything you could possibly want or need. The interior décor is bright, beautiful and extremely stylish. Each room is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The main living space is open plan with tasteful sectioned areas to relax or socialise. The bedrooms are spacious, (especially the two on the top floor) with modern, elegant bathrooms. The garden is furnished with enough sun beds, seating areas and a dining table big enough to spend many hours chatting and eating, if you wish to eat at home. The house is within easy walking distance to wonderful restaurants and nearby shops. Overall, we could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. Tisha was very welcoming and took the time to ensure our stay was perfect. We would highly recommend this property and hope to one-day visit again. Suzanne D and Allison W

We had an amazing 2 week holiday in this brilliant family villa. The rooms all very spacious and luxurious, there is a great outside area for eating and relaxing and the swimming pool is amazing - even heated. It is also very easy to walk down to the town square and local shops. Tisha is very organised and enthusiastic and looked after us incredibly well. We hope to return in the future.

We were three families, six adults and six children (age 3 months – 6 years), who spent a fantastic week in Soller and in this beautiful house. The house location is perfect because we could enjoy Sollers village with shopping and restaurants as well as easily and quickly get to the beach and harbor. The house is absolutely magical, the decor is tasteful and stylish and the rooms are generous and large with private bathrooms to each room, which was very practical and lovely. The house's kitchen and living room was large and invited to socializing and cooking, the kitchen was especially well equipped. The garden and the heated pool made life wonderful for both adults and children. The service from the owners before and during our stay was wonderful - We really recommend this lovely house!

Wonderful house, centrally located in Soller. We were nine people altogether (two families) that spent one week in this fantastic house. First of all, this is a truly spacious villa which easily fits two families without problems. Rooms are large and inviting, particularly the master bedrooms on the second floor. The veranda area overlooks the mountains and this is also where we enjoyed most of our time, including the meals and the "after beach" time (playing cards and board games with the kids!). We tried the dinner catering, which was a big hit with enveryone, including the younger ones (the Asain barbecue wings are to die for!). The pool is perfect for a lazy day at the villa, although we also took the time to make daytrips and excursions around the island. In short - a fantastic place and we are definitely coming back! Highly recommended.

A tastefully renovated villa, 5 easy minutes walk from Soller town centre. We were 3 families with kids from toddlers to age 9 and it was ideal. Plenty of space for everyone and quiet corners for adults and kids to retreat to. Although there is no pool gate it is easy to supervise the little ones from the back verandah, with a G&T!. The kitchen was very well equipped with high quality appliances, loads of cutlery/crockery and huge refrigerators. The environment was very relaxing with a beautiful villa updated with tasteful, but practical furnishings. Pool was a good size for 6 kids. We used Piers Dawson, a local private chef to cater for us one evening and it was superb to get 5* dinner in relaxing surroundings without having to stress about the little kids. Tisha, the owner was very helpful and the information folder was comprehensive. Tip: the driveway will only accommodate 2 smallish cars, so leave the SUVs at the rental desk. Also Soller streets are very narrow and a big car is a pain to navigate. Saturday market in Soller is lovely.
5.0 / 10.0
The history of the house, known as Can Ballester is a great start, most of the original features have been kept and the house has the best of both worlds...authenticity and local flavor and modern day comfort with phenomenal good taste. You will not want to go home, that's the only problem! Making G&Ts with the fragrant lemons from the garden a lovely touch. The house is spotless, huge, perfect to share with friends and family. The garden and views are incredible, the bbq lends itself to a trip to the fish market for a late night outdoor cooking session perfectly! It is run so well, that any questions you have on the area will be happily answered. We totally recommended. For local tips, breakfast at Frau near the picturesque square is a must, casual dinner with tapas at Cal Pintxo is great, or for a special romantic night drive to Cas PatromMarch in Cala Deia. There is nothing in this house that we would change, it made our stay in Soller a week to remember!
