Freundliches Personal
Achtung beim Ausklappen des Schlafsofas: kann man sich sehr bös die Finger dran einzwicken.

Good location.

Location
Instead of getting a twin bed room we had to share one bed. The kitchen utilities were incomplete, one fork out out two was missing. Very minimal.
The Tresor did not open. The staff was unfriendly.

Close to the centre of town and restaurants and bars. Carpark underneath
No air conditioning for the hot night.

The breakfast was satisfactory in variety and in quality.
I had to change rooms twice on the first day, once a door lock problem and the second room maintenance problem. After that, there was no problem for two weeks.

The staff were very friendly and I liked the location, very close to the centre.
The AC does not work well and we were supposed to get a double bed but we got 2 single beds put together which kept moving.

Location to the city centre was great. The staff members that we spoke with were lovely and friendly.
The room was dirty. The toilet smelt of stale urine and the bathroom had an awful damp smell.

lack of cleanliness! peeling paint, dirty shabby carpet

Friendly people. Our bicycles were parked in a very safe fully closed courtyard. It’s also a smoking area. So we locked the bicycles with a small bicycle lock. Just to be safe. We had a very nice small appartement. Everything was very clean. The bed was good. And the WIFI was fast. There is a little kitchen we’re you can prepare small meals as no breakfast. It’s in walking distance of the old city center.
The garbage can was way too small. There was only half a bag in it.

Short walk to city centre, possibility to park nearby for very little money. Kitchenette in the apartment and baby cot were highly appreciated while travelling with a baby.
Sofa bed isn't comfortable, fan in the bathroom wasn't working. The apartment just look a little bit tired. The parking allocated by the hotel was full but we found street parking behind the hotel which ended up costing only a couple of euros for the day.

Friendly staff, 24/7 reception, nice location
No cleaning services (our reservation was for 3 nights) and we asked for more toiletries and they denied. The room is basic, no balcony, the bathroom needs a renovation

The location was perfect for me, right by the entrance to the old city.
The room/apartment was adequate and the reception personnel nice and friendly.
I didn't use their restaurant so can't judge it.
The lighting in the room was quite poor, too bad to read in the evening.
Was shocked that I had to supply my own toilet paper after the first roll supplied but
that seems to be general in Southern France.

Front desk people very fluent in English, and willing to speak French with me, too. I requested a new light bulb in the morning when I went to school, and it was there when I returned. The room's double windows worked miraculously to shut out the street noise so I could concentrate on my French homework! I was there to go to language school at 30 Blvd École Militaire. I could walk there in about 15 minutes. There's a supermarket a 1/2 block away, plus couple smaller markets. Also an easy walk to and from Cours Mirabeau, where movie theater, Monoprix department store (groceries in basement), stationer's, cafés/restaurants, and various shops can easily be found. The hotel breakfast was excellent, everything I could want was provided, and all was of higher quality. ALSO, on my last day there I discovered a large, complete health food store right next door to the hotel! It is set back from the street in the Place John Rewald. The name is Bio C' Bon. All food products sold there, including, bulk coffee, herbs, and snack foods, as well as produce and non-toxic remedies and cosmetics.
I felt the bathtub was VERY slippery, I didn't go request a rubber bathmat at front desk, but did buy some stick-on grips which I left to be used in that tub!

The rooms were very dark so we had to have the lights on even in daytime.
