The location and free breakfast. Host was friendly and adapted to our timeline. Cute decorations.
The bathroom was not connected to the room, not thoroughly cleaned. Very thin walls and squeaky doors, and a light cigarette smell in the apartment. Host was a bit noisy and talked loudly in the mornings when we tried to to sleep.

Friendly host and there’s an elevator to 4th floor.
It’s more like AirBnb than Booking platform. You get a room with bed where there’s no space to put your stuff, because closets are full of host’s clothes, “Private” bathroom but with host’s stuff inside. Host was friendly but she was smoking inside the flat so the smell was awful. The premises weren’t very clean as well.

Bedroom was decorated beautifully and the balcony has a great view. Pillows were also really nice and fluffy. Location is perfect. Marina was also super nice and breakfast was great!

Marina was very kind with us. The bedroom was comfortable and had a balcony. If you want to go to Cinque Terre is very convinient. The train station is very close. If you go by car, there is this free parking lot 10 minuts far from the house called Piazza D'Armi where you can park without paying but be careful with the ones slots only for police (you can receive a fine if you park there).

Charming lady as provider of the rooms.

It is close to the station
The place smells of old tobacco and the floors and toilet was dirty. The breakfast was terrible - we were served all kinds of sweet cakes that is bought in bulk from the supermarket. Not nourishing for a traveller to start his busy day.

Beautiful accommodation. Kind host. Clean. Good location.
Doesn’t have Wi-Fi.

Marina is very helpful and kind. The location is perfect, it is close to the train station and to many restaurants and it was not noisy. The breakfast is the tipical Italian B&B breakfast, so it was good. The room and the bathroom is big and the decoration is nice.
The room and the bathroom were dirty, especially the floor. Long hairbreadths were in the bed. The trash can was full in our room when we arrived with other people’s trash.

7 minute walk to the train station. Very large room was comfortable and it was a nice bonus to have a continental breakfast provided.
No internet/wifi 😞 You need to walk through the dining area to the bathroom

Marina is a super nice host. The room is very well located within walking distance to the train station. This make it very easy to explore all the area of Cinque Terre. Breakfast was good and the balcony of the room was quite nice!
There is no airco so it can't get hot during summer. You have a ventilator that definitely help!

The location was nice and the bed was clean.
We shared a bathroom with the host and it wasn’t all too clean.
The room was very hot because there was no airconditioning (on the 4th floor), just a fan

The room and bathroom are very beautiful.
There is no AC. The elevator is very old and tiny.

Good location - within walking distance from the train station and the city centre
Flexible check-in and check-out time - we had to arrive late at 10:30pm and it was accommodated by the hostess
1. Live-in landlord:
- first of all, this is a flat with a live-in landlord which was not mentioned in the booking description
- unfortunately, the hostess smokes cigarettes in the flat and you can smell it in the room
- the hostess had her own guest in the flat on the first night and we could hear them talking in the kitchen until late
2. Room is not practical for guests:
- all wardrobes are FULL of hostess's clothes. There is no space prepared for the guests to put their clothes / stuff out
- not enough hangers in the room and bathroom - tricky when you want to leave your wet towels or swim suits to dry
- you have to walk through the lounge to get to the bathroom
- room is loud as it overlooks a busy street
- no air-conditioning
- previous guests' waste was left in the rubbish bin
3. Bathroom cleanliness not to standard:
- dust and hairs on the floor, floor mats should be washed, tiles and sinks should be wiped
- badly scaled up shower head - water flows through just few remaining open holes; immediate descaling needed!
- random toiletries - not clear if this is for the guests or belonging to the hostess; we just used our own
- impractical arrangement - you will find two armchairs and a coffee table there but no hangers for the towels around the shower
4. Some breakfast products were not edible
- a selection of individually wrapped industrial pastries. One I tried was stale. I checked another one and it was 1 month after the expiry date
- there was no breakfast on one day (we asked for it to be at 8:00am) because the hostess slept in - we didn't regret it though. You're much better off having it outside in a café
5. City tax to pay on top - it is €2.50 per person per day

The location is just great, the heart of the city.
Apartment’s design is amazing: something like safari style.
Marina is very friendly, she recommended us some places to eat and made nice breakfast.
The bathroom wasn’t clean enough. Also, it was extremely cold in the room.

Authentic experience in the heart of La Spezia. Marina gave us local pro tips. Thank you for your hospitality.

Location was very good and the host was nice and helpful
Is not mention on booking that the host is living in the same apartment (it s not a house), so the privacy is missing (we have to go to the shared bathroom trough the living room were the host served breakfast to other guests). Also our room smelled very bad (cigarettes like mixed with other bad smells). In the morning we were waked up at 7 am by the noise of the host and other guests in the apartment. 0 privacy

Cool location (between 5T trains ration and la Spezia city center), nice host, clean enough
There were one day where breakfast was not available for some reasons, but no big deal for us.

Honestly only the location was great. It's near the city center which is cool to walk around. Also, you can take a fast walk to the train station. The room's balcony was also great with a nice view.
Everything with this place was really bad. Starting with the checkin - It started at 12pm (till 8pm), we arrived at 5pm but because we arrived early than expected (around 7pm) the bed wasn't really (we had to put the sheets by ourselves - Marina arrived around 8pm and knocked our door prepare the bed - it was already done). The house smelled pretty bad too. We had to open our room window for some time. The bathroom was the worst. It was very dirty (for instance, the lid of the trash can was sticky).
We agreed with Marina to have breakfast at 9am but at this time she was still sleeping. We eventually turned down the breakfast when she woke up. The last thing, was the city tax. We had to pay 5€ but only had 20€ but because Marina didn't have any chance she ask us to go out for chance - I find it amazing that we had to solve her problem.
Honestly Marina's rating is way too far from what we usually get from places with similar ratings - way too far.
