great pool.

Very warmly welcomed by our host who took time to share info about the apartment, La Spézia and surrounding area. The 3 bedroom, 2 complete bathroom apartment was very spacious and extremely clean. A great location for visiting La Spezia and the Cinque Terre region.

Nothing
We asked the owner with a few days before the check in if we have towels. He answered that sheets and towels are not included in the price (a high price although, to be noticed). After long discussions, he agreed that will provide sheets for free and towels for a certain price. Taking into consideration that is an apartment and not a hostel, it was odd. He had cleaning service tax and we had to throw the garbage outside the apartment when we left. The plates, bowls and pots from the kitchen were dirty and smelled bad, even if they had a dishwasher. The remote of the air conditioning was hidden in a box (we had to ask for it) and with used batteries that don't work.
The beds were not comfortable (only one double bed, the rest twins) and the noise from the street was loud (train, cars and scooters).
In the confirmation from booking it was clearly written that the kids are included in the rate, but the owner charged them anyway (the solution provided was to cancel if we don't agree, but at that time we couldn't find any decent accommodation)

The home was spacious and close to town. The city of La Spezia is beautiful.
The son was nice but the woman absolutely was out of her mind. She screamed and accused us of stealing towels when in fact she kept miscounted and the towels were there....There was a booking mistake that was out of our control. We booked for 8 people but when we arrived it showed we booked for two. Even though the booking said it was a 3 bedroom two bathroom flat was booked for two - all doors were LOCKED except one bedroom and one bathroom. We were like what's going on? Sure enough he said it happens to them often where families book and it comes up as a party of two. We have no idea how that happened as we booked several bookings throughout our trip and had NO issues except this one. So of course they wanted additional money. We were harassed late at night for extra fees (cash) (we agreed to pay of course but the amount verbally changed twice and was much more than what the going rate was) She harrassed us 2 hours before check out by showing up at the flat because she was mad at us for calling booking to let them know of the problems we faced upon arrival. She screamed at us down the phone and screamed at us in the apartment. We couldn't even understand her as she spoke no English. She just lost it. I have video footage to prove this. There is NO proper parking. We had a big van. We pulled into what we thought was their parking area to unload our suitcases only to have the police come and try to give us a ticket just for temporarily stopping. There is street parking across the road but good luck trying to get one. There was a lot of anger hostility and frustration during our stay. It almost seemed like they had a camera someplace - they knew exactly when we came home and when we were leaving. There are amenities but no coffee, no water, no milk, no detergent, NOTHING that would help your stay. If guests arrived at a time when stores are closed - you are stranded. This woman is NOT fit to handle problems so therefore is NOT fit to host.

The apartment was really big and the kitchen had everything you needed for a short stay
There were no towels at all at the arrival. Like not even a small one for washing your hands. The host offered to bring some but that would’ve costed even more time + 5€ extra costs.
Seems like the owner of the apartment wanted to get some extra money as well.
After leaving the apartment we got a message via WhatsApp where he said that we broke something on the wall (?!) and now he’s charging us 20€ for it.
Keep your eyes open for that.

Spacious apartment, prettier than the photos. A Lidl nearby, nice surroundings. Near the center, full of terraces, restaurants and gift shops. Very clean, well equipped with everything you need to prepare dinner at home. 2 bathrooms and a big kitchen and a nice balcony with a view.
The host speaks only italian, it was a bit hard to understand each other at check-in. And just to be aware, additional charge for towels (5 euro/towel) and city tax (2.5 euro / person / day). A little bit far from the main station to 5 Terre.

Large apartment with well-equiped kitchen and living room,
Lidl is just in 5 minutes walk
Selective garbage collection system
Two bathroom was realy good for us
Free parking (can be tricky thoug)
Quite a big balcony (with a little bit noise from the street, but it was OK for us)
No private parking (it was advertised, but we got fined 60 EURs, but the host paid it, which was very kind of them, maybe a municipal rules for parking was changed), and we can grab a free parking position at every day just in front of the house
Little bit far from train station (be aware that there is a tunel toward train station, but no pedestrial way in it, so need to walk a 25-30 minutes)
The host was friendly (see above) but speak only Italian (however English was advertised also). It was a litle bit strange to communicate only in written way (just the last day we met each other inperson) - maybe it comes from the COVID situation

we were a family of 7 people, stayed at the apartment for two nights while we went to 5-terre.
the place was relatively spacious, the rooms were excellent, two new bathrooms, very big kitchen with most of the kitchen essentials.
Luca was very nice and gave us advice on how to move in the city, where to eat, etc.
would definitely recommend.,
