Quirky and historic villa in a beautiful town.

Simple accommodation that was great value for money. Breakfast was continental and plenty of it. Warm and comfy.

Great room, well heated.
Nothing really, the place is exactly as it markets itself.
1.5
Great location
Rooms were freezing and very basic, I felt the photos were quite misleading. Uncomfortable beds - double bed was too firm and the bunk beds only had thin foam mattresses unsuitable for everyone but small children. Lots of noise from neighbouring rooms.

Breakfast was good
Rooms were very clean

T Location is great and the check-in process was really easy. The keys were left at the main hallway entrance with clearly marked envelopes and easy to follow instructions.
The room was a bit dingy and the heavy use of air freshener left us venting the room for a while.
The beds, and pillows were very uncomfortable and definitely not something I'd recommend to sleep on for longer than a couple of days.
The bathroom was actually pretty good in terms of size, but the shower has a metallic rust on the floor...mat is provided to place on top, but not the most inviting shower. This place is adequate for a very short stay and I did not find it very comfortable overall.

Heater was already on when we checked in and the room was nice and warm.
An extra bedside table and lamp would be welcome.

Very nice old building with a lot of charme. The room was big and noty too many pepole used the shared bathroom. The location was great and even basic self serve breeakfeast was offered. We would go there again for sure.
The sound isolation between the floors, you could hear every step of the person above. No wardrobe in the room made it a bit hard to put away your clothing but really for this price tag and location it is absolutely great. Especially the staff was perfect!

Good location. Fridges available to store our food. Good shared bathrooms. Great historical building.
Light in hallway coming into the room through the window above the door was annoying. Not enough fridge space and breakfast food ran out very rapidly.

The owner was kind and engaging. He clearly takes an interest in the history of the building and area and enjoys talking about it.
It was all good
4.5
Very happy with the room, great value, key was left out for easy check-in, we had 1 of the 2 private rooms out the back which had a private entrance and a car park outback. Cute little room, very nice. Great location only a very short walk into town.
Most of the TV channels did not work.

Great heritage building

Something a bit difference for a couple travelling. A little damp and cramped but cosy enough and comfy bed.
A little damp and the shower was a bit tricky ~ a round tub with an inadequate shower curtain.

Fabulous location, good breakfast, comfy bed.

Good
No flyscreen on bedroom window, due to no aircon in rooms, which is fine but We needed the window open just a bit to have air to breath

Lovely old building but room was small, dark, and musty.

The place is fantastic as a historic location and in good working order. Owners are very helpful, proud of the place and are continuously improving. The atmosphere in the building is unique and hard to come by in Australia.
Full marks. Loved the place.

The history was interesting and the staff were invested in our comfort by answering all questions/requests.
