The views from the deck were awesome. Very Spacious and perfect for two couples or a family.
Definitely could have a deep clean - couches, carpet and shower glass!

Location. Spacious apartment. Clean. Good furniture. Great deck. Did not smell old like some of the other Princes Wharf apartments I have stayed at.
Instructions and address were super confusing but the worst was the lack of disclosure that the elevator was broken and they knew about it but did not put it in the booking information. I took a photo of the notice in the building that said it would be under repair for many weeks with specific dates. I was told by property management when I called on arrival that there was a delay in repairing it because of staff shortages but on the notice it was clearly not supposed to be in commission the whole time I was there. I was on the 4rth floor. I had to lug a 23kg and suitcase through a parking lot to an outside elevator, then through a parking garage and then up one flight of stairs with a bad knee. Not ideal. Secondly, the key was in a lock box at 10 Horton Street which is a good 10 minute walk from the apartments!!! Again, that was NOT part of the original information until I had booked. There are so many lock boxes available right at the wharf. I have stayed at 3 other apartments at Princes Wharf. They all managed to have lock boxes at the site in Store 2 or at the management office. Again NOT acceptable that this was not clearly stated in the information BEFORE I booked. I would have never stayed there. Worst part was the beds. Rock hard. I had to sleep on multiple pillows stacked next to each other on top of the bed to get some type of sleep for the 11 days I booked.

The location is great, although you might need ear plugs to block out the noise of the ferry horns. But it was nice sitting on the balcony watching the harbour.
Only 1 English breakfast tea bag provided for the 3 day stay.
Lift not working (it's under maintenance until c. 5th of May, 2023). There are 76 steps to get up to the apartment.
No intercom despite instruction sheet given. Called Quinovic and they were disinterested in hearing about the problems I mentioned.
Only one room key provided, which is a bit of a problem since there is no intercom. If you and your partner want to split up for the day, you both can't get back into the apartment without coordination and more stair climbing.
Missing soap dish in main bathroom (ensuite OK). Just a big hole where it should be.
Microwave is above the fridge behind top-lifting cupboard door that won't stay open. Have to rest it on your head while you operate it.

it was beautiful, right on the harbour, near shopping and restaurants. very comfortable.
Maintenance came in to do some drywall during our stay but didnt take too long.

It was so central to everything. The view of the harbour was great as you could watch all the hustle and bustle of the city life.
Nothing really

location was great.
6am wake up from ferry horns that we didn’t know about. also there were not enough milk and coffee for 4 people for 3 nights stay.

Really clean and close to the shops. The views and breeze through the balcony doors are also really great!
When it rained during our stay, certain areas of the balcony stayed wet and took quite a while to clear.

The apartment was beautiful and strategically located in the CBD.
3.0
The apartment is very spacious, very clean and in a good location for anyone who needs to be based in Auckland. The bathrooms were very nice and the kitchen although small, was well equipped.
Excessive noise. The balcony windows are not sound proofed so there is a lot of noise from the harbour (ferrys) and the city. The ferry horns are impossible to escape, even with the doors and windows closed, and start at 0600!!! Some days cruise ships dock outside the apartment and the banging and loading noises from the fork lifts is unbelievable... Being so close to the ferry dock, double glazing or sound proof glass is essential.
Also, for a place that faces East there should be proper curtains that block the windows. The blinds provided, do not cover the windows properly meaning the sun streams in through the gaps in the blinds. We had to improvise and hang scarves and items in the gaps in the blinds so the sun wouldn't shine on our bed at 0530.
These two issues did impact our stay and meant that sleeping in past 0700 was almost impossible.

Loved the location and view. The apartment itself was beautiful, such a treat. Definately keen to come back!
Would have been good to have 2 keys as some of our group would go out separately which I didnt think about beforehand. Made it work though.
